A lot of ppl blame Rogan and Callen for his failure. I say no! They did what any other friend in their position would do, they encouraged their friend to pursue something that they felt he was good at. It was up to Brendan to do the hard work to gain success or be successful. No guarantee that he would find success but again, it was up to him.

I mean pretty much most fighters go out after getting beat I mean look at bj Penn he was at one time called the prodigy and considered a goat by many people and then you look at how his career ended it wasn’t good but would you say he’s a failure now or just remembered for taking nothing but terrible losses? I mean schaub did play division 1 football at relatively legit school definitely more so back then and he may not have made it but did get a chance at the nfl which is more than probably 99% of football players could say then he pivoted to mma much later in life than typical fighters and he rose thru the ranks incredibly fast and was probably 1 win away from a title shot. Unfortunately for him he lost that 1 fight and that was basically It…….idk how anyone could take away the feeling of nothing but defeat from that

Of course Patrick takes the stance of “shame Gillis using joe for publicity” when Shane was merely making a joke…Pcc SUCKS.

Of course Shane used the publicity, everyone does ! But he was the only one honest about it and making a joke about it, that's the point, no shame.
You think people go do a podcast in Texas because they think Joe is fascinating and they just want to see him ? It's always a publicity ✌️

Have to disagree with the painted narrative on Bapa going too early but I have zairo faith in his ability to develop utilizing the traditional approach.

Same here, this way it still generated some revenue. If he had taken the correct route, the result would have been nothing but shame and disappointment. At least now he could drive a Frarri for a few months and buy Messican some ugly designer clothing.
That being said, this influx of cash might have damaged him forever. Guys like that can't dial it down anymore, it becomes their persona. I would worry if I were his parents or close family. Worry a lot.

Did the speed run pay off tho? Broski exposed himself as a bad comic with YBS. Without it he could still tour off his big name (former fighter/Rogan Friend). Once the bad special drops everyone knows you suck, why would they come see you?
