Preston is a small annoyance comparing to a guy saying: "By Azura, by Azura, by Azura! It's the grand champion! I can't believe it's you! Standing here! Next to me!" After hearing this line 200 times you will want to kill him just to get rid of this demon, but it gets worse because this dude actually respawns every single time he dies. 😬

For anyone who can't figure it out yet, like ESO, when Umbra summons his minions it makes him vulnerable, there is a set amount of damage per cycle, but after that set amount, he will cast blizzard, or at least it was blizzard for me, so I assume it's just a master level spell. You can do this quest at level one, meaning full ebony and the sword at level one!
I done this at level 252 so umbra was easy and my sword does 54 damage,i dont recommend doing this at level 1 because leveling is easy and your sword wont do much damage at level 1 because the quest is level based, the damage is based off of your level
@@Kosuto the sword damage increases as you increase your two handed skill tree
This plus Ebony Mail, Black Star, Namira's Ring..... *The Knight of Oblivion* build!
Of course the mount is *Arvak* naturally, and either the *Locket of St. Jiub* or *The Gauldr Amulet* for the necklace.
Also the *Arm of the Moon* and maybe a shield if that's your fancy.
Or Shadowmere for a mount

Umbra was actually a daedric quest item in Oblivion and was indeed extremely powerful

For all of you who aren’t aware yet and happen to read the comments section this quest line is now available in the newest Skyrim versions along with all other creation club content.

Its ok. He probably needs glasses. Couldn't even figure out the combination for the flamethrower trapped door.. when the last tile was right there... kept looking at it too.
I feel like there's a Pitch Black reference in this quest. In that movie, the eclipse happened every 22 years, which is how long prior to the game the journal was written (4E 179 - 4E 201). And of course Umbra means shadow and is the darkest part of an eclipse's shadow.

I remember when I was like 9 or 10 years old and taking umbra over to the waterfront and just having the guards kill her or shooting her with arrows on top of the buildings. Umbra and Wuuthrad are easily my top 2 favorite weapons in all of Elder Scrolls lore.

On my first playthrough of this one, I was ill-equiped to handle it so I went and retrieved Barbas both because he can't die and because it fit thematically to send a Daedra to beat a Daedra...and specifically the one who ended up with it in Oblivion.

The best way to deal with the disarm shout is to sheathe your weapon when you hear them starting the shout, you won't drop it when it's sheathed. Then you can pull it out after getting hit.

To bad windshear is broken enemy's can't fight back.
It's no fun to use but the fact that enemy's can't fight but that makes it the best weapon in skyrim.
This is the first creation club mod that I actually would buy.
I did pick up the extra spells mod awhile back and I liked the spells but I hated that they were so easy to get... Anyway good video! :)
You never did a video on the vigilant Armor sets! They look awesome and come with a cool little quest, the silver hand Armor especially looks badass with a companion follower or if you are werewolf!

I’m am 2:38 in, but if I remember correctly Umbra is Clavicus Viles most prized artifact. Vile put so much of his power in the sword that it is sentient. It also explains why there is a Hisk tree in Skyrim

This quest was really cool.
To beat Umbra in one go, I use the Become Ethereal shout to become invincible while umbra's invincible, too (make sure to have all three words of the shout!) Then make sure you are using a powerful one-handed weapon (Mace of Molag Bal, Dragonsbane, etc) and have Fast Healing in the other hand. This way you will easily mow down Umbra fast.
Please do a series on The Forgotten City mod in skyrim! you'll dig it
