I'm the same. They could put out a course called "pile of garbage" and I'd be like "take my money". Because of the consistency of quality this is easily one of my top VR titles of all time. Maybe even top games. Period.
Never been a fan of low poly visuals but walk about mini golf do it really well. Enjoyed every course I've played. Brought them all including the new Wallace and gromit course I'll be buying this 1 as well. Keep up the good work guys.
Today, I finished all 26 Walkabout Mini Golf courses, collected the 18 lost balls for each course, and collected the 29 putters (2 for Laser Lair and 3 for Myst). I wanted to thank you for all of your exceptional videos and assistance in collecting the lost balls and putters. Your expertise and insight have made all the difference to me. I look forward to continuing the Walkabout courses in the future and relying on your experience and guidance. Thank you so much, InnerPrincess VR!
yes, and a ski hill course, Skate park course, amusement park course, Giant ball course where the ball is like a basket ball its VR gotta stretch limits.
OMG we, my family and I are obsessed with Walkabout Mini Golf in VR and purchased the Venice course first thing when launched on April 25th. Yes, I agree that the play is in the style of of the Gardens of Babylon, but the colors, and variety of landmarks are truly Venetian. Can’t wait to play the hard course at night! Thank you for the pure craftmanship. It is breathtaking.
I purchased this new course tonight and it is fantastic. I absolutely love the feel of the entire course and I’m looking forward to playing the hard course. The continuous high quality updates from the devs is incredible. I can’t wait for the Wallace and Gromit course in the summer.
Wow this is awesome can’t wait to purchase. We have all the rest and play on weekends. We love every single game and it’s the only game we play in our oculus 3. Thank you for sharing this info.
Love the course, it looks awesome. If I were to have one criticism, it's that the music, while sounding awesome, does get repetitive rather quickly. Maybe a longer tune with maybe more variation would help. Also the nighttime music is the same as daytime. Anyway I'm off to put a few more holes :)
Question. At 4:49 you “played” an accordion similar to the way you played pianos in other mini golf levels; at 70 yrs old, I’m not that quick and wonder how you do that? I’ve not been able to tap on the pianos nor the accordion to play. Wonder what I’m missing or doing wrong. Thank you very much. Brilliant help you provide.
it's a running gag / joke... the instruments are not playable in reality, but he (InnerPrincess) always tries to "trick" people into believing that they are. Just for fun. No harm or malice intended.
Great video! I played a few rounds since yesterday. It's a beautiful and very charming atmosphere. The holes are mostly about angles in this one. Reminds me of Temple at Zurzura. Not the most challenging courses, but still fun to play. But I do have one thing about this course to complain about. I've played all the courses so far and I have to say that the music in Venice is really monotonous and gets on my nerves because it just keeps repeating over and over the same short chorus. This is the first time I will have to play without the music, but I will definitely play and explore the city. Thanks for reading my rant!
As always, another excellent video. The one thing I can’ tfigure out is if you are pulling our leg with the instruments. I have never been able to play any of them.
I bought as soon as it came out just because I love walkabout but it’s funny to me in a way where this is going, it seems more about an excuse to enjoy a VR environment rather like playing golf can be seen as an excuse for a walk in the country than the game itself. I’m enjoying that but I’d like to see them expand game play elements too. I guess other courses have experimented there but there’s further to go in my view just in terms of ball physics borrowing from pinball say or working with bounce too, working the crazy golf possibility further. I guess both paths are available. VR is such a new medium really, both developers and gamers are still exploring it, literally and virtually.
I was impressed at how 'back to basics' the course was - aiming for a specific vibe and atmosphere, rather than test driving another new experimental mechanic. As always, the WMG DLC's are one thing in life I will throw down coin without a moments notice, knowing love and care has been put into the course... Venice is absolutely no exception. Next up: Wallace & Gromit!!
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it but after looking around their version of Venice for a while, i actually had tears in my eyes. This is what virtual reality was meant for. Anyone else find the little Easter egg at the highest point on the map?
Love this game. It’s time for them to do a graphical upgrade for Quest 3. Would love to see a sequel to this game with more realistic graphics to take advantage of the Quest 3’s power and be on par with the other more realistic golf games available but with the same level of fun this game has.
I absolutely love the playful style of this game. I would always prefer it to a more realistic but Uncanny Valley-like one. Immersion doesn't work the way you might think. It can happen even when reading a book.
I just can’t help buying EVERYTHING these guys put out when it comes to maps!

SAME!
@SleepySquidward0 Yes, the price is really fair. Never regretted a purchase of any course.
the 2 endless purring cats are clearly the highlight for me 🐈🐈⬛

Take a tour around in the gondola. Just another amazing add on.

Really need a Las Vegas course!

Your channel is how I know new dlc is out 😃 Let's see if I can find the lost balls without dipping into the guide this time 😅
What a wonderful video! Really well produced and executed.
Thank you 😊
Great video as always, shows off the course design very nicely.

Dieser Kurs ist wunderschön. Bereits in der ersten Sekunde des Spiels fühlt man sich wie in Venedig. Einfach klasse programmiert!

It may or may not be a long running joke on this channel ;)
Gardens of Babylon is a lovely course. This should be fantastico!
Any new course is an insta buy from me. Love the look of this Venice course
I have been in Venice multiple times. It's perfect honestly, I swear I have stood on that exact bridge of hole two :)
Love this course. The purring cats are perfect! I feel like I’m back in a beautiful city. Just need a plate of pasta to complete the experience.
Take my money! Love every course they have done. I wonder if they included a golf ingot filled safe at the bottom of a boat garage. The Italian Job.
It's a great course, easily in my top 5 at the moment. Great vid as always!

I've been addicted to Hyper-Dash, I haven't played walk about for awhile. Maybe it's time to give this course a go. Thanks for the video.
I'll get this one as soon as my social security check gets deposited!

I bought it, I'm livestream this course tomorrow
Lovely video.
I might to try play instruments of hard mode 😲
it looks just like venice they did a really good job
I am going to buy it anyways good or bad.

It really is a beautiful use of the technology
I knew what was going to happen when i saw the instrument.
Well accordion to a video I just watched, you can play this one

Did anyone notice the padlocks on the one bridge
bought it. love it
thanks
Will this dlc give us the ability to ride on a gondola? I am so stoked
Yep, there’s even one on the welcome island now!
Excellent!
Thank you 😊
You’re the only reason I know when a new course comes out 😂😂
Happy to serve a purpose here 😄
Great job!👏👏👏👏👏👏

Do they put in the instruments as a joke? Or will they be playable someday…
Ooh! I'm excited!!
Now that Venice takes 5€ entrance fee per day, 3,99€ sounds like steal for unlimited visits 🙂
Plus this version has mini golf, and the pizza is zero calories.
Whats with the instrument crap? Nothing ever worked, this a running gag?
I'm starting to think so. I've never gotten them to work.
Yes.its a running gag!
Idk about that instrument one 🙄
Robert Deniros waiting, talking Italian! About to go in....
Fuurrrsssttt
Just finished my easy & hard play though. Pretty underwhelming when it comes to the courses. Nothing spectacular, nothing memorable
