Thank you for this clear tutorial for a lovely edge. As a variation, I put the first of my three single crochet stitches in the last space of the previous shell. I tried both ways and found this gave a tighter finish that I was looking for. I too wished for extra instruction for corners please.

I am finishing this border now on a corner to corner cr blanket for our Grand Annabella...she ask for the blanket to be pink with lavender touches. It is amazing how much this lovely border added to this blankets overall appeal! I am so pleased with it...expecially as it is very time consuming. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I love this border. Thank you so much for this wonderful border. I am making shawls for some lovely ladies in a nursing home and I don't put fringe as they get stuck in the wheels of their wheelchairs. The washers at these nursing homes are commercial grade and wreck the fringe work. This border would be perfect. Again thank you. God Bless.

I saw this tutorial and took a gamble and decided to try it out.
