The song heard in the yellow hookpoint video is likely the beginning of 7-2, its a transition from the seperate parts of the violence layer. Violence against self to violence against neighbors
7-2 is violence against neighbors but the 7-1 is not a ring of violence. As stated in the light up the night tweet: "Beyond the quiet walls of the Garden of Forking Paths lies the first circle of Violence in 7-2: LIGHT UP THE NIGHT." the song in the yellow hookpoint video is the calm track
I believe 7-3 will be violence against self and will be the forest area from Dante’s inferno. It would fit the trend of the third levels of layers being the most differentiated one from the other levels.
as it has been pointed out to me, the track in "whip it good" is most likely the calm track of this song, which I didn't think of at the time of making this video. I initially denied it cause the part in "whip it good" that played before the beginning of this song sounds nothing like the actual ending to this song, only now am I realizing that it was probably an earlier version of the song, and it looped at the 0:39 - 0:55 mark (1:18 - 1:34 in this video), if you listen closely, the instrument in the background is very close to how the track in whip it good sounds before it loops.
The best thing about this is it's in 3/6, making the "army-like" part feel off, almost a marching rhythm but somethings just not right. Really gives an uncanny sorta feeling like what were about to see is gonna be warped by hell itself
I think the distorted chord sequence at the start has some of the same chords at The Abyss and the Serpent, which I think are Hakita's go to "big scary thing present" chords.
I have my theory that leitmotiffs in this game have 2 sides: IM KILLING EVERYTHING!!(traditonal, energetic) And... Im killing everything...(emotive, sad) The 2 examples being ORDER (requiem) and WAR (sands of tide) If 3rd prime boss uses this leitmotif, im sure as hell it will be depressing asf
The track heard in the yellow hookpoint video is the calm track, the w.i.p. track that Hakita posted is the combat track

Neighbors?

@@glitchingeclipse9850hakita posted an unlisted video of one of the trees, confirming that 7-3 is violence against oneself
1:52 i also hear like war planes coming by?
sounds like a plane going down. Oh and, gunshot sound-a-like drums too.
this entrie layer is just straight down PTSD nightmare of an army man to be honest 💀

what do you MEAN it's in 3/6 that is literally not how msic works
@@_sillicate 6/6 i cant tell the difference
The track has 5 different time signatures actually
@@Marzuku Haha, guess you'd know of all people! Anyways it's not as if it changes what I'm trying to say
Doesn't feel off to me, it's 5/4 but using triplets
Certainly a bit weird but not off
Also yeah this track is in like 4 time signatures lmao

1:43 no you are right that is definitely death odyssey
I didn’t even notice the Death Odyssey similarity until this video
The short end tune sounds like a part in deep blue

*you feel a sisyphiean insurrectionist crawling on your back*
You're gonna have a bloody time
Parts of the song remind me of either bombs or artillery shells falling, hitting the ground, while the troops fight a more twisted version of WW1.
