      As an owner of a small breed dog you should also know that any vaccines given to your tiny dog are given at the same dose/volume as a big dog would get! There was a study published in 2005 that showed a clear correlation between dog size and vaccine adverse effects. Smaller dogs had WAY more adversw reactions ...yah duh... because they're getting too high a dose for their tiny bodies. Its sick

      Aloha, thank you so very much. My puppy has had all of her shots and now 1 yr. later, the Vet. Office is sending me post card after post card after post card with a litany of vaccines she now needs a year later. I almost lost a dog due to over vaccinating and a now am very cautious. I’ll do the Titer Test and of course give her the medical help she needs but I refuse to overvaccinate her. Thank you so much💗🐾.

    Many, many years ago when you took your dog for a yearly exam the vet checked eyes, abdomen, etc. Now a yearly exam only means more shots and the vet never does a good physical exam, not checking eyes, abdomen, etc. I also don't understand how highly educated professionals clearly go against guidelines.

      You must go to sane vet as me. Foot out the door before he ever steps in, tech has all shots ready. Eye & ear “exam” so fast, his own eyes can’t focus as fast as he goes. I leave feeling like I was in a tornado. Now I’m 7 months behind & ignoring texts & postcards bc I just keep procrastinating & need rabies by Jan for state license so now at point to I’ll just wait til January. Just found this Dr thru a tiktok 20 minutes ago. Just read no shots needed after age 8 & my dog is 10, don’t know if that’s correct either. All this has my head spinning.

      @@sandyc9379 I’m finding that even if certain jabs are not required by law in your state, vets are still illegally trying to force them.
      Why isn’t this, and also all the harm the jabs do, talked about on the news.
      I pray that God blesses everyone who are protecting their pets.

    I am a breeder and a former vet tech. I only do puppy vax and then titers every three years. Just had a 17 year old dog pass and her titers were good to the end. It should be up to the owner but the vets push and push and push and won't see you unless you vaccinate. You won't get past the front desk staff to have a "conversation" with the vet about your dog's lifestyle.

      Grew up in a breeder family with 2 AKC judges for parents! Our vet really puts the pressure on but I don't care! I've done the homework. My Bengal cat was almost 17 when we recently had to say goodbye, my siamese is 15, going strong and so is my chi pup at 14! The tick thing is pretty scary. My dog Buddy last summer got really sick. He was in pain and couldn't walk. We thought he was gonna die. My husband took him to the vet. The Vet gave him flea and tick medication. Buddy immediately started to get better. Buddy wasn't even a year old yet. He is a big dog (lab/Golden retriever) he is black and tan(mostly black) with thick medium length hair. Apparently, it is actually pretty common for black dogs to have tick issues. The ticks are drawn to them because they can hide and go undetected. So, we give him the monthly chewable medication once a month. We haven't had an issue since. We live in the South mini woods right next to our fence and a hunting club(woods) in our back yard basically. Heck we have to do tick checks on ourselves in the summer. I'm not saying natural remedies aren't the best, but in our situation the monthly medication is a better option. I was so scared when my buddy got sick. If you have a black dog be more vigilant about ticks.

They are indoor pets and are only outside briefly and on a leash always. Thankfully, nor are any of my grandchildren vaccinated.

She got DHLPPC 6-in-1 plus rabies. And 100% agree on your comment, a lot of these behaviors match up with even just rabies (a lot of holistic vets refer to this as 'rabies miasm') but I'm sure they were all involved synergetically. I'm not sure if they were live, killed or mixed, but I believe the risk for miasm is even possible for killed types too, unfortunately. I do know that a while back there was a recall on some modified live rabies vaccines because they were actually causing rabies in dogs. It's just all so insane.

    I'm still trying to decide what to do here. I didn't relax for Bordetella and my vet was ok with it. I wanted to hold off on Lepto too as I educate myself, and she was more concerned about that [I definitely have rats and wet soil/standing water/puddles in PNW]. I also wanted to make sure I had my anti-vaccinosis in hand and that they didn't double up on vaccines at the same time. She does/did go to daycare from time to time but will look for a daycare that allows me to sign a waiver.
    Will be doing titers when she's due for her core shots next year and from there out.
    I've also taken her off Simparica Trio thanks to learning and research tidbits from you and your guests like Dr Katie, Dr Zac, Dr Judy, Dr Ruth, and Dr Dobias. Of course we got fleas almost immediately 6 weeks after her last dose as I'm still finding the right natural products for her.
    Thank you for all the information you share so I can make better decisions for my dog. I'm working to find a vet that doesn't push toxins on me for every single thing without ever even doing any type testing.

      I've only found a Lepto vaccine for a 1 year period. And I've seen information shared online stating it's effective 6 months to 1 yr against the 4 or 5 strains that it includes. There are more strains [think of the Flu vax for us..way more strains in the wild than in the vaccine but can still help us] so there is a possibility to still get Lepto even if you vaccinated. There are Lepto incidence maps you can google to try to assess risk in your area based on reports and think of your dogs lifestyle in conjunction. I'm still trying to determine if I should go this route myself as I do have puddles/standing water and rats in my area. Happy to keep you posted on what I find out. Currently considering shoes as I can usually prevent her from drinking from puddles so I'm a bit more concerned of her licking it from her paws. There's also [AFAIK] no titer testing option for Lepto because it's not a core vaccine.
      IF you decide to go this route, I have learned about herbs like Thuja and Silica [Adored Beast Apothecary has something called anti vaccisnosis] which can help remove toxins and side effects from the vaccines without preventing the antibodies from forming. This might be the route I take given my ground is wet 6-8 months of the year in PNW. Good luck!

    What I have read is that the rabies vaccine is One. Regardless of the size the dog is. It's also the same thing whether it's a "3yr" vaccine or a "1 yr" vaccine.
    If this is true, the vets I've spoken to say that because I chose the "1yr "vaccine, my dogs need to get another one this year.
    Doesn't make any sense

    I’m against the repeated vaccines also. What are some side effects of the rabies shot?

    • @johanna8206
      @johanna8206 7 місяців тому +2

      Side effects can mirror symptoms of rabies itself (search "rabies miasm" and check out dogs naturally magazine online articles regarding rabies vaccines side effects), including behavioral changes (fear, anxieties, aggression, etc), paralysis (DM, Laryngeal Paralysis, hind end weakness, etc), phobia or obsession regarding water or shiny objects, eating or chewing non-food objects, tumors at injection site, anaphylaxis, facial swelling, fever, allergies, autoimmune diseases including IMHA, and seizures, are just a few of the possible side effects.
      Also heart issues due to autoimmune response. As an example, most people think the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s predisposition to heart disease is just genetic … but Dr Larry Glickman at Purdue University found that Cavalier King Charles Spaniels developed antibodies against their own heart tissue after vaccination.
      I've personally had one dog with permanent behavioral changes (aggression/phobias/ocd) following 6-way puppy shot plus rabies, and another dog develop Laryngeal Paralysis and IMHA after only rabies every 3yrs as per law.

      IME pet insurance is a two-edged sword. In order to get it, you must do all of the things that are most likely to make/keep your pet sick vs following a natural health protocol and not really needing insurance. Obviously there are some things that are unavoidable that insurance would be useful for (like accidents or emergency surgeries) but in general, my vet bills have gone WAAAY down since adopting a more natural approach (raw/home cooked food, natural hw & flea prevention, no vaxx, etc.)

    Let's explore if dogs are really getting sick from standing water, "wildlife", etc or if they're getting sick from kibble, high fat, and toxic substances like all vaccines and allopathic meds. My state doesn't have a rabies vaccine law, I don't vaccinate them at all or children. Let's stop living in fear of things that actually haven't been proven to exist. I appreciate your channel as I've newly found it, and I'm glad you're spreading info on the dangers on many mainstream things. I just like to push it a little farther. Rotational Monofeeding diet...

    It is so sad to see that most of the vets are only looking to make money now... not much care for the animal anymore like it use to. These vets should be monitored and given fines when they vaccinate too often. For Rabbies in most states and most countries it is required by law though. For pet owbers who love their furry friends it is becoming a nightmare. For the food it' is the same, it is mostly about money and a lot of the brands in the market give your dogs all kind of problems and the authorities do nothing about it! When you need the goid food hypoallergetic or else if you have no prescription you cannot get it that is ridiculous.!!!!!

    Yeah she’s straight up wrong about the preventatives part. They definitely work! My dog is on simparica and yes the ticks will attach but it kills them. I’ve found multiple dead ticks in his fur that were all shriveled up cause they were killed once they tried to drink his blood. People are so concerned about everything being toxic. I totally support doing titers for vaccines but you’re gonna risk your dog getting HW disease or Lyme disease cause you think it’s toxic? Both of those diseases can and will kill your dog and you’ll end up spending thousands in treatment and many times they don’t survive it. Why are people taking advice from one vet? Do you think all other vet’s are just trying to kill your dog?

    • @DCobb-tp7sz
      @DCobb-tp7sz 6 місяців тому

      If you watch the whole video she explains that it's not actually a preventative. It doesn't prevent the tick from biting you're pet. All it does is kill the tick after the bite. The tick bites, gives your dogs Lyme, and then dies. So what's the point? There are more natural ways that actually deter ticks and fleas from approaching your pet.

    I'm a veterinarian and I'm blown away by the false advice you're giving to viewers. Dogs absolutely need to be given shots 3-4 times a year to keep them immune from all of the terrible diseases that are literally everywhere around them, even in their food. If you don't vaccinate your dog it WILL get sick or die in a few months. Anti-vaccination fever is a disease in itself, everyone make sure to take your shots and vaccinate everyone you love or you'll regret it, speaking from experience!
