can you please elaborate when and where a dog daddy event was shut down .... just seen a short you did ... id love to no because i looked up to him ... plz explain
Excellent video! I originally would give my pups Greenies. I stopped years ago, when I saw the ingredient list. Been giving them similar treats to what you promote.
I have a new puppy, so I go to your website for your recommendations which gives me a feeling of security and worry some nutritional guide for my puppy. THANK YOU!!! I Appreciate you!
I notice the recipe for Nature's Logic dog food kibble changed and now includes almonds. I think this got changed sometime last year. My dog started having gi issues, diarrhea, non stop ear infections and the worst farts. I stopped giving him that kibble end of January and is back to feeding only raw meat and veggies. All those issues miraculously went away too. **FYI Logic is listed as a preferred kibble on your dog food list** you may want to look into that 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for all you do Rachel
Hmmmmm, I recently adopted another shelter dog who had farts really bad. I put him on supplements, etc. and gas-ex (dr. Andrew Jones video). He finally quit farting one day. I’m betting now that it was because we started feeding another kibble (he eats one meal freezedried raw and one meal kibble) It was around that time he quit farting. Well, dang it all….with all this contaminated foods, changes in pet foods NOT informing customers of change. This is really getting irritating and SO NOT RIGHT. Thanks for posting your comment, or I would have never known.
Hi. I feed my dog Nature's Logic Distinction line of food. The ingredients on that line of their food have no almonds. The other line of kibble you mentioned does.
@lisacash8665 I didn't realize there were different lines thanks for the info. When you click on the shop link in Rachel's dog food list, it takes you straight to the Amazon storefront that actually only ever has the other lines, all with almond in the recipe 🤷🏼♀️
I love your videos!! I switched my 2 Bostons over to raw and baked nuggets, after dealing with kibble digestive issues and skin infections, and now they are so excited every day for their food! Different proteins and whole food toppers, im so glad I did!!!
Hello. I was wondering if you could do a video about dogs that have seizures. Information on the best diets and treats. We are unable to use some of these treats because they have ingredients we were told to avoid. We are just starting the raw diet to try and help with seizures also. I loved the video you had with Dr Brady. Any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello Rachel another great video! (Like usual) You have helped me and my puppy so much we double filter her water and she is on farmers dog! Thank you so my I love these limited ingredient treats! Have a great day!
I give my son’s G.R. ‘s home made treats. I bake chicken breasts, calve’s or beef liver, ground beef etc. No spices are used. After cooling, I cut up into pieces and freeze. I take out a certain amount to defrost when I know they are coming over. The other treat I make, is unbaked or baked, Oatmeal cookies. 1-2 very ripe mashed bananas, 1/3 cup Natural peanut butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Mix. Add 2 cups regular oatmeal. You can add oatmeal as is, or make oatmeal flour. I just shape into balls and refrigerate or freeze. Sometimes I add ground flaxseed and chia seeds. This way I know what they are eating, and sooooo much cheaper.
Hey Rachel great video as always! Could you review Red barn treats next!! I feel like they are much more affordable, still healthy and not a lot of people know about them!
Rachel, thank you so much because of you and your educational videos my fur babies are eating Human Grade food (open farm ) and I see the difference. 💙🐾🩷🐾
Thank you for sharing information on dog foods and treats. I have learned so much from your videos, and have begun incorporating more fruits and veggies in my dog’s diet. I’m not ready to go full raw, but am heading in that direction. I have always read food labels for my food and am now paying close attention to the dog’s food as well. I would be interested in your thought on the 4Health brand of dental chews (4Health is sold at Tractor Supply). The ingredients are: sweet potato, pea fiber, pea flour, vegetable glycerin and oyster shell flour. In addition to the shape of the treat, I thought the oyster shell flour would be a good abrasive for the tartar.
I recently discovered crumps naturals and I’m so happy to hear that you love them as well! My dog absolutely loves them! And compared to other brands it’s definitely more on the affordable side!
You are absolutely terrific to share all this info... i have used Beckers Bites and sometimes my Golden chokes on them ...sharp edges get caught .... gonna try Crumps and others you like! I use Canine Cavier for his food... love it! Thanx for all your research and knowledge. BLESS YOU❤
I stopped giving my dog anything that has glycerin in it because he gets really mushy stools, I started noticing with some Greenies products. He is better with just freeze dried liver. he does love to chew things so I may try the duck chews you mentioned here. thanks so much for the great info
I would look into Pupford freeze-dried treats. Literally 2 ingredients (beef liver & mixed tocopherols), they have beef, chicken, salmon, and rabbit. My puppy loves them and they’re less than 1kcal per treat.
Hi! I just came across your page and love it! I have a question. My baby was on royal canine for gastro problems. Looking to switch. Should I be looking for a lower protein food? If you could please give me a recommendation, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for the heads up on the Greenies Rachel! I'm wondering if you've heard of a brand called Butcher's Naturals? I'm looking at their chicken jerky and it shows that it contains only 5 ingredients. Just wanted to throw that out there
Thanks for sharing these recommendations. Unfortunately, we can't get these in Australia. Do you know if any of the brands plan to sell/ship to Australia? Thanks
Hi. I have a question what is a good dog food to feed a dog that has allergies? I'm feeding grain free because I notice everyone I add grain it brake him out. The itching and locking the paws. What is a good dog food for allergies?
@RachelFusaro haven't looked at all your content but heard about Patriot switch natural cleaning products ....Riverside prepper goes over all the toxins in like tide and Dawn soap like that... on my channel I have one clip of Barbara O'Neill but haven't had the time to research all her videos. Love to you starseed well done on your mission💜💚
Do you have any recommendations or a video about an uncomplicated crown fracture? I just noticed my dog’s tooth looks chipped. I’m going to take him to the vet, but wondered if you had any advice?
When I need a soft and chewy treat that's not single ingredient like the crumps you mention second, you can always cut them smaller. They will have the same value as them in full sized but if ingredients is a concern this way it's not a lot of glycerin etc.
Rachel, Please review Badlands Ranch which I use their air dried food and their freeze dried beef liver 100% treats, same size as the option you show there. They are pricey at 15.99 for 4 oz but they last forever. I have 1 beagle and they last 1-1.5 months. PS- JUST how bad are Hills Oral Care bites anyway?
Hi Rachel, I need to find a raw food alternative for my 9-month german shepherd. I can't find a good dry food. Can you recommend me one good brand please.
I like bocces treats the freeze dried ones and the biscuits, also not a fan of zukes but love other training treats because any other treats other then tiny treats suck for training.
Thank you Rachel I’d like to add one to your do not give list and that is Purina’s wagon train chicken jerky treats giving these is like playing Russian roulette with your pets life.
Do you have a guide for small dogs that are 10 pounds on how much regular food they get ground turkey with a Dr Harvey’s topper can I use in lieu of Dr. Harvey’s dry food?
Rachel, any update for recommended kibble? The one on the front page is dated now thanks to Orijin. I've been feeding it but looking to change. I was thinking 50/50 with a raw like Viva. I don't want to fully drop the kibble though because my lab is still hyper and I partially feed her with a wobble to slow her down and to give a little bit of stimulation.
Feeding my dog a balanced home made diet is extremely expensive, so pricey freeze dried treats are off the table for me. My dog gets plenty of meat at mealtime, plus I rotate proteins. Instead, my dog's treats are slices of apple, frozen berries, and frozen watermelon pieces. I also make homemade frozen organic coconut yougurt banana treats, or freeze organic veggie baby food, which has no additives. I make bite-sized cookies made of organic oat flour, applesauce, and peanut butter. Next I plan to dehydrate sweet potato slices and hope he likes it. For training, I bake tiny salmon oat flour treats. Chewy treats make him stop and break concentration too much, so the little nibbles are just right.
Rachel, could you please take a look at the ingredients of Red Barn puppy food and let me know your opinion? I am considering switching from Stella and Chewy’s “superblends freeze dried raw coated cage free chicken and wild caught salmon”puppy food. Do you have a favorite puppy kibble? Thank you!
I'd like information on feeding raw meaty bones and chicken feet(like you shared in this video or raw). I have fresh(frozen) farm raised chicken feet(not from a grocery store) in our freezer but I wasn't sure if it was a safe choice for our 9 month old puppy(7# or more) or our senior dog(12# or more) to chew on. They have had meaty deer bones. I also have frozen split beef bones w/marrow that I purchased for them.
What do you think of Real Meat air dried food. I use this for times when we are on the go and I am traveling in car and may not have access to kitchen for a few days.
Do you know of any ready made food I can purchase for my dog who has had Oxalate Crystals? I don’t want to continue Purina UR due to the issues going on right now! If you could help I would sure appreciate it as she is about out of food and I am going to have to purchase something.😬 Thanks
Hi Rachel, I used to love the Crump’s Naturals Fisherman;s Mix (that I learned about from your channel). Of course you know they stopped making them and replaced them with a chewy version. Ingredients are good, but no longer crunchy. What are your thoughts on the new version? Do you think they’re effective? I called the Canada based company to get answers as to why they stopped making…didn’t get a straight answer…
Please would like to see information about meaty bones and recreatif bones! Meaty bones ( I give her : turkey necks, chicken drumsticks, chicken tights, chicken carcass with meat cubes ) (recreatif : bully sticks and collagen sticks, beef oxtail, beef briskets) always afraid of broken teeth.)
"Treat" is French for "Junk" I use real food, chicken, liver, etc, in one ingredient freeze dried form, they sell big bags of it at Costco. Or I just use cut up chicken or some such. To a dog, nothing is a treat, it is all food. Manufacturers call it a treat to get you to buy it. If it says treat just RUN! If it has more than one ingredient I don't feed it.
My dogs swallow everything whole I really want to give them bones for their teeth but it’s scary giving them anything please help with some tips if you can
Rachel- I am needing to find a dog wellness expert online to help guide me on making the first decisions for my pets treatment of allergies. Can you recommend anyone?

I hate that bocce’s got bought out by Antelope pet, their treats used to have only 2-3 ingredients and all of them were whole ingredients

Hi Rachel,
I need to find a raw food alternative for my 9-month german shepherd. I can't find a good dry food. Can you recommend me one good brand please.
Are there any good dental treats you can recommend?
Butcher’s Naturals pig ears are at Costco. They were a great deal, $21.99 for 25 ears. Not a treat but definitely a great option for a chew
My dog loved these and now I can't find them at Costco anymore
Can you make a video about Badlands Ranch dog food plz.
Would you recommend feeding salmon skins for teeth cleaning?
Thanks in advance.
Rachel, you mention price. Becker bites are $60 for three bags. I know it's human grade but come on.
Well, Buy meat instead and just try to be creative and make him cheaper treats.
If that's too expensive for you then you can make your own treats
I make my own. I dehydrate sliced or cubed raw beef. Just slice or cube it and put into dehydrator or oven.
A piece of raw meat at the grocery store is 5 dollars a pack of hot dogs less than that come on
What do you recommend for senior dogs with first signs of kidney disease?
I like bocces treats the freeze dried ones and the biscuits, also not a fan of zukes but love other training treats because any other treats other then tiny treats suck for training.
Im struggling to find some good options in Europe, can you create a video about food and treats from europe?
