Please are the red velvet ,oil based cakes? I once try covering an oil based cake with buttercream and it was swelling out the next day,I have not being able to cover my oil based cakes with buttercream since then
hi seyi, if you’re working with an oil based cake for buttercream, allow it to come to room temperature, if it’s frozen whilst you covering you’d end up with a swollen cake, it will definitely budge out
