    Recipe:
2 ½ - 3 pounds of jalapeno pepper (or banana peppers work too)
    6 cups sugar
    2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
    ½ teaspoon celery seed
    ½ teaspoon turmeric
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    3 teaspoon granulated garlic
    1. Cut your peppers approximately ¼”- 1/8” thick. Wear gloves 😊
    2. Add all your ingredients (except the jalapenos) to large pot and stir until well combined and bring to boil.
    3. After liquid mixture comes to a boil, turn down to simmer for 5 minutes.
    4. Bring back to a hard boil, place jalapenos in mixture. Bring to hard boil, drop down to a simmer for 4 minutes.
    5. Fill your jars (we used pint jars) with the jalapenos only. Use a wooden skewer or other wooden (no metal, it messes with the vinegar) to pack the jalapenos down.
    6. Return the liquid mixture to the stove and bring to a hard boil for 6 minutes.
    7. Fill the jars with jalapenos, with the liquid to a ¼” headspace. Use Wood skewer to ensure there are no air-bubbles in jar before sealing.
    8. Wipe off the rims with a damp paper towel, followed by a dry paper towel before adding the new lids and rings.
    9. Add brand new lids (do NOT reuse lids) & rings.
    10. Add to the water bath. Note: We set the jars in room temp or slightly warm water. DO NOT add cool jars to HOT boiling water… they may break!
    11. After Boiling, set timer for 20 minutes.
    12. Remove jars from water when done. Let set overnight before labeling and adding to shelf.

You'll have to let me know what you think of it... I absolutely love it! I'm glad I tried it myself! I actually thought it was better than jalapenos only cowboy candy... not 'as spicy' ... but it still has some spice!
