A bit more testing showed that the schorch from the melee counts as melee damage. Sadly, if u try to do this to a target thats already schorch from another sorce (grenades, weapons Etc.) It dosent let this interaction proc any longer, because the schorch will just stack up and still count as the original sorces schorch.
The first part of the concecration melee is double proccing the HOIL perk, which means you only use half of a melee charge to get double buffed grenades and barricades.
it's fun to use but in higher tier content, it's almost never worth the ignition over just using throwing Hammer. the animation is too long and even though you get dmg resist (while in the air), you still get bodied so quickly it's super fun in low- to mid-tier content tho, would recommend 100%

Eww, a banner of war, one-two punch, synthoceps and tractor Cannon/Navigator user🫡 JK, its ok to use whatever u want, except basic B-boy 600k damage per melee hit. But fr, u can spam a lot of nades to crowd control and clear rooms. Not every exotic/subclass has to nuke a room with melees and constently heal you + give a damage reduction. I hope you Will get over The meta phase and join us in The "hahaha... Funny combo makes stuff go wroooom~"
If they wanna get more people back in (at least the titans) undo the HOIL nerf. Literally will have all the titans come back in all flavored colors of the rainbow. I’m talking green flavored, electric blue flavored, orange flavored you name it!
Idk, but i believe it Works in a similar way to warlocks snap melee, where The schorch counts as a melee damage, therefore constently re-procing The inmosts perk.

The scorch dmg is reproccing the enhanced barricade and enhanced nade

The melee hit counts as 2 stacks which is good. But still HOIL and Traveler's Chosen were massively nerfed... And were not meta.
