Very well edited! The transistion from Henry through his phone was a really great touch, once again Carfection shows how its among the best automotive cinematographers around.
Agree 100%!
Absolutely. There's real cinematographic craft, and a carefully considered narrative that elevates the content far above your typical auto 'vlogger'
Thank you - huge credit to Glenn Winhall. The phone transition was all his idea.
@@HenryCatchpole Magnanimous to boot. Great work both of you.
I started thinking what if they recorded the clip sent it to Henry's phone told him to play that exact part and then pause it, talk and then resume but then I realized tv magic is too much for mortals to understand
Lamborghini, please keep making naturally aspirated engines like this! Some people don't care about being the fastest around the track or in a straight line. We don't care about turbos or hybrid engines. We want performance cars to be all about the experience.
A naturlly aspirated 5L V10. 84mm bore and 90mm stroke would alow a 9000rpm rpm limit even with California's 91 octane fuel(91 Octane/95 RON flame speed propagation limit is 27 meters per second). 625PS or 125PS per litre would be adequate. It would be cool if they had naturally aspirated model and a 750PS N/A+hybrid version(625+125).
I fully agree. Same with Porsche and their GT cars
I completely agree with the original comment. Since when has driving been about the outright numbers? It's about the overall experience, the thrill and the excitement. I doubt that any of the more powerful cars would be any quicker on the kind of roads that Henry normally tests on anyway.
then go guy one. they only make what people want to buy. and if you aren't going to buy one, then why do you care what they're like?
@@oliverdurgen5953 yet here you are watching a car review offering your opinion to someone you don't know. As soon as the house is paid off and the kids college is paid for, and I have a spare $300k burning a hole in my pocket, I'll buy one. Hence my comment to please keep making vehicles like this so I can buy one someday...
Henry is literally the BEST reviewer out there. He and Chris should start a show. 2 absolutely mad honest car guys. What we need.
Edit. Brits just do it better. Hands down.
Beautiful review of a spectacular car! I really hope some of Lamborghini’s engineers see this, imagine the smiles on their faces :]
Imagine it in Forza 😏
A true Lambo. Loud, terrifying, raw. Love it.
You’ve 100% nailed the review. I own one and every time I drive it I have the same smile you had during the entire episode! I love it as it looks like a hot wheels car and sounds like a monster.
Would you take it over a 765lt you should totally start a UA-cam channel with it
undriveable on a B road
Yet another breathtakingly shot video. Great writing too. Keep up the great work Henry and team 👍
When Henry was playing with the toys, I feel it was a missed opportunity to change the focus to the car 😍
It's a cinematic masterpiece. Carfection truly has perfected the art of cinematography. Huracan STO is a stunning beauty. Kudos to Lamborghini and Carfection for this amazing video. Loved it !!!
The sound, the road, the sound. Thanks Henry, those damp roads look challenging.
Been watching for ages and I've got to say this might just be my favourite of your reviews. Beautifully shot and edited giving us absolutely everything we want to see. Also love that you can tell that Henry is really giving it the beans at points and that he's having an incredible time. The best in the business!
Amazing stuff guys, love these so much. The cinematic and audio delivery is superb. Please please please tell me how you captured 6:24 so cleanly!! Lovely stuff
Awesome work again guys 🔥 those transitions were CLEAN!!
We need more anorak Henry being grumpy!
Stunning visuals, some of your best ever. But sound production also fantastic - the balance of Henry's voice and the engine and wind sound was exceptional during the in-car shots. Well done!
I am amazed every time by the quality of the production and the presentation! Great Job guys!
This was next level production - even for you guys! As good as top gear but without the over the top transitions. Brilliant film, bravo! Although I'm afraid I'm the kid who wanted the authentic model cars that looked like the real thing, none of these hot wheels nonsense (there's always one right...!)
One of the greatest engines of all time and possibly the best sounding. I'm going to miss this so much. Only way it could get better is if Lamburghi did a swan song manual transmission option
Blooming brilliant as always Henry and the quality of imagery and editing is just amazing!
Henry, your enthusiasm for a great car always shine’s through and makes your video’s brilliant.
Very well edited the best so far!!!!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
A great review from you after a long time, in the middle it seems like you lost the track but glad you are back
As usual, amazing video Carfection/Henry :). This is an utterly mad Lambo :D, and I didn't know things like the roof scoop were fake 😅. Will you guys be driving the new Countach soon? :)
Haven’t they reviewed this chav mobile already?
@@Gaudine I don't think so 🤔
Amazing editing and video as per normal, great roads around there too!
i am in love with this channel... excellent cinematography, marvelous locations make this channel stand out from others. Bro is one of my favourite motoring journalists on youtube.
Amazing video. You guys get just better & better
Congrats on 1 million subs guys!
About the faux ram air intake, someone said they couldn't make it work with ram air on that engine, but the actual track version has working ram air so...hmmm eh?
Got the opportunity to see this car today in Norway! What a coincidence😄
I Just traded my SV in for a 22 STO. I have had 7 Lambo's and this is by far my favorite,
Your use of the English language...masterful. Love the analogies and descriptions. If you close your eyes and listen, you can almost feel it.
Buttertubs Pass. One of the best drives in the UK. After the road to Ribblehead viaduct - which I’m sure Henry would’ve immensely enjoyed driving in that 😁
Buttertubs is great but it isn't flat out fast because of the blind crests, sheer drops to the side and all the sheep. Try the road between Alston and Penrith. I normally do Alston to Melmerby and then back. The north Pennines area is full of great driving roads.
@@BMW3.0CS Totally! The climb up to Hartside Pass from Penrith, on that road, is fantastic. Don't tell everyone about the NPAONB though, it's still wonderfully quiet these days 😂
This video was shot so brilliantly! Very very good filming, especially liked the view where we saw what the driver sees. Crisp!
You're brilliant! Wonderful video as always Henry.
My logic is simple I see a notification or catchpole reviewing my favorite Lambo I watch and like that's all
Another amazing video guys. Loved it. Well done.
Fantastic review.. Easily with Carfection & Harry, the best on UA-cam...
It's a missed opportunity not using the top scoop feeding air into the intakes.. The sound alone would make it worth it.
Absolutely glorious video and scenery. Where did you film it? Wanna go there myself now too. :D
Love this. One of my favorite videos is still you in the Aventador SV at the Isle of Man. Lamborghini makes some of the most emotional cars in the world.
Outstanding.
The quality is there every single time.
What a noise I wouldn't be able to contain my excitement let alone speak..
Epic. Thanks for sharing 😎🤪
Very good video, always enjoyable to watch!
Looking forward to this one Henry!
Happy Independence Day!
How long can we still enjoy new NA sport cars? Is this it?
Great review ! Love the show - literally!
Everybody says each One is the last. Then another comes out. The C8 Z06 will have a na 670hp. Plus hybrids don't change an engines sound turbos do so some hybrids can sound brilliant
They've said there will be one more Huracan after the Tecnica (of which there will be a review soon).
Absolutely stunning scenery and cinematography. Chapeau!
I've never acquired a taste for the flamboyant Italian cars, Farrari, Lamborghini et all. But I have to hand it to them on this one, I'd have this car in a heart beat!!
Spectacular video as always. Beautifully shot, expertly narrated. A joy - thank you.
Those POV shots are amazing!!
the b roll in this video is next level. also i've spent some time in this car and you did such a great job of sharing the ways in which this car truly is great henry. cheers
Outstanding videos🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 🙏 keep the content coming
Another beautifully crafted film Henry……and an interesting comparison to Schmee150 (Tim) who doesn’t really like his for long trips as it is so uncomfortable after a time. It is a car for a weekend blast…and that is why you buy one! 😀😀😀🙂
Is a awesome car! Many thanks Henry for this video 💪👏
Beautiful segment, that car looks absolutely fantastic! Dream spec would be satin gray with bronze accents, one day...
I could live happily with not a single contrasting color accent. This lilly needs no guilding.
Thank you. Fantastic as always!
Giant fake scoop and the price tag are not for me. But it otherwise seems brilliant. And I agree, on the road - give me that sound and keep the 200 bhp.
Epic video Epic car you nailed this one my guy. Peace and love Brooklyn NYC...
Sounds amazing, I am sure it’s an incredible drive, just wondered who the hell signed off the Halfords sticker set 🤦♂️
Brilliant! What a production!
Fantastic review as always
That transition was 🤯
Glad you liked it
the front bumper cam and behind the steering wheel pov cam looked epic !
A beautiful piece of film! Thanks.
Funnily enough, I was smiling from ear to ear as the hot wheels came out: right on cue, Henry! Point very well made.
Great review (again) and I WANT ONE!
Incredibly underrated car. For me this car kinda proves whats wrong with the current state of "car culture". I have yet to see a bad review of this car from any credible magazine or video journalist. but when it came out it didnt have the super trump numbers like Sf90 and 765LT, so it got bashed online during its initial reveal. The reviews are in and this car is a brilliant track toy creation by lamborghni but because it doesnt accelerate from 0 - 60 in who gives a toss but is incredibly good at what it was built for...... its almost never mentioned with its actual rivals. Its sad that 640hp in a V10 is scoffed at these days. Nice video Carfection team👍
Peak car review? Awesome job, great setting.
I've toured these roads and if the suspension copes well at pace then it's really quite good.
Edit: good to hear the steering is pure, quick, and simplified that's a nice touch. The second car I drove for any distance had steering that was quicker enough it needed a little getting used to. I drove that car many many miles more.
the next question is: where are these roads?
@@freudsigmund72 well if you look closely at 0:48 this bridge, or they might use some other word for bridges that long ;) , has 3 thicker piers (verticals), each separated by 5 standard width piers.
It's moderately famous within the UK.
@@artgreen6915 great... but even if every singple person in the UK recognizes said bridge,... then still only 0,8% of the world population would recognize it... I for one do not as I am luckily not British
Yellow accents look fantastic. When not paired with pink/ purple 😉
I had the pleasure of taking pictures of an STO in a sort of mat dark red without the stickers during a trackday and it looked absolutely spectacular.
"This car is a fake!" - I like sassy Henry. We need more of him calling out BS.
Great video once again.
I’d still take the Performante though
Henry Catchpole, in my mind the best reviewer together with Cris Harris and Harry Metcalfe. In my dream car the Lamborghini huracan STO? I used to own a Gallardo way back, and I always thought of, what it could´ve been.
"and I'll tell you for why" that got me😭
No one does automotive poetry like Henry and his team.
This is a phenomenal video. Thank you.
A great commentary on a brilliant car, that is not always about the numbers. Well done Henry.
Title: Fantastic or Fraud!!??
Also thumbnail: V10 Brilliance!
Can never go wrong with a Lambo! Amazing car!
The mantra for Lamborghini must be: "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity."
Absolutely stunning views!
This reminds me I must get out to these roads!
Would be interesting to get you behind the wheel of one that's been "Upgraded" by Underground Racing
This is one of those rare moments where a manufacturer, even one like Lamborghini, have cashed in all the development money, all the profit of a model series and let the engineers loose lead by really passionate petrolhead managers. Unfortunately these days we get more of the "spreadsheet results" cars even at this level, but boy, when they have the opportunity... This is a spectacular car. Thank you Henry
What a car, what a road - fabulous film thank you (where is that road !?!).
The Yorkshire dales enjoyed those roads in my diesel bmw another fantastic video , what a car 👏👏👏
Anyone knows where this road is? It’s beautiful
Henry is great when it comes to reviewing stuff.
A*
Seeing and hearing one at the Festival Of Speed hit differently.
Great video 👍🏿
I cycle up around ingleborough and ribblehead… great place, but I would love to have that car around to break the silence ;)
That last shot. Goosebumps.
Is the next one getting a v6 like artura and 296 gtb?
Anyone know where this road is? Looks mega.
Chris Harris, Henry Catchpole and Jason Camissa.
Someone should make this Trio happens!!!
Did the front splitter ever bottom out on those roads I wonder? Driving the same in a 600LT is constant scrapes
That road is particularly testing and the STO coped pretty well. I''d say it was better than the 488 Pista in that regard.
Thank you Mr. catchpole!
What a fantastic review!
Well done, Henry but as much as these cars are fun, there is a deeper passion and interest when you test the modern classics or the restomods. The M3 CSL, Singers, Alfaholics? They more of those you can get your hands on to test and drive; the more views I would imagine you’d get because for me, those are the cars that are most interesting.
Is that snow in the background on some of the shots? When was this filmed?
November 21.
I remember watching the Tim Rodie Drives Stuff video at the time.
He loved it too!
@@DontPanicDear do you know where these roads are?
@@saqs
Cairngorms / Old Military Road
The clip of that road at 10:25 is amaze-balls!
A track car that can't be taken on track as too loud and can't be driven on road as its a too hard-core track car. Huracan TECNICA is by far the best and rarest Huracan to have.
Best bits of STO and RWD put together.
Super rare and as last n/a V10 a sure fired future classic.
Will appreciate ala 458 speciale
New sound gear or strategically placed mics for this review? Either way that engine sound you captured for this review is 😙🤌🏼. Need an ASMR version
Hopefully the internal combustion engine isn't going anywhere. Once the economic and environmental realities of making only electric cars become obvious we can have a more rational approach to fuel sources, and hopefully beautiful cars like this will continue to exist for many years to come.
I don't want to live in a world where the only sound on the road is ugly whining electric motors
How about a world without air conditioning?
The only chance internal combustion engines have of continuing is through hydrogen. And that technology won't be mature enough for this kind of application for a long time. Like it or not, these type of cars will be gone within the next decade.
@@TheFlyingPineapple shut up and go home... you have no idea of what you are saying. And I will still drive my car in 30 years, no matter what this silly world decide. Like people still fly old planes... don t care about ev.
@@TheFlyingPineapple not entirely true. Porsche just invested many millions in a process that captures large amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere, you take water, perform electrolysis, and separate the hydrogen from the oxygen, and then combine to create synthetic fuel that is pretty much identical to gasoline/alcohol that can be used in any internal combustion engine we currently have. and the carbon emissions that the car generates equal the same amount that you captured from the atmosphere. So it would be entirely carbon neutral, and we could remain with all of our current cars, planes, boats, infrastructure, etc and continue making internal conbustion engines. The only issue is generating enough green energy to power the process, and also making it more affordable. But they are confident that can be done either with wind or any other green energy
Ev's are a fool's errand ..it is just a matter of time.
How does it compare to the mclaren 620r?
Thanks Henry!
