Would be better, if notion recognized I created an archive page, and once I checked off tasks.. Notion automatically sends my completed tasks to archive, without me having to manually do it.
you could do that with a database like the second one for example or just a normal table where you add a filter that only shows the tasks you haven't completed. you can add another view to see your tasks all together or just the ones you have completed by clicking the plus button near the database name. i hope this helped anyone who is curious
I am looking forward to the Timeline view because Gantt Chart is at the heart of any productivity system. When will it be released btw? Thank you, Notion team :)
Thank you, thank you. I was looking for a way to set a reminder on a task list today but I figured it couldn’t be done. Every day I’m loving Notion more and more.
Really helpful thank you!! Now Im learning to use notion more yes!! I love the archive idea now I can jsut dump stuff there thanks. Been using this more fluent now that we been quarantine.
Mind blown 🤯 🤯, Thanks!! Aaaading to my ‘Personal Wiki’ (from an earlier video). Keep up the extremely helpful ‘personal’ Notion video’s, and feel free to add some Student video’s😀. That’s me: Mom, House Manager Extraordinaire, BA degree student.
Hi notion team, wondering if theres a way that users can create synchronised calendar from all the tasks created?? So instead of opening one by one, just by looking at the notion calendar we can have a glimpse on whats on the priority list? Also is there a way to make a to do list as recurring tasks say.... for weekly to do so that it'll remind us? Thankyou notion team, this app been a a great great help ;) ❤
you should be able to add a calendar view in your database and that will show all your tasks that are in the other views of the database and you can filter it to show different priorities by using tags
I have a list of tasks that I need to do EVERY week. How would I create a reusable template that I can check off and then archive that week for future reference?
can someone please help me out? I want to make a table and under views, I want to have different names. Each view is different but if I change one view, the others will change too so, they are linked to each other, which means I can't change anything. Do I need to make a new table to have a different view? for example: I want to have a list of all my university options (the view is called All options), then I want to have another view with my preferred university list, but if I change my preferred list, then the All options will be changed too. What can I do?
it won’t let me make columns :( i try dragging it so they’re next to each other and it just keeps reordering the headers instead of putting them side by side @2:18
Hi, I had the same problem too. After a couple of tries, it worked when you drag all the way to the right of the screen. The blue lines do appear and it should fall into place.
Firstly thank you notion team , and pls don’t shut down for another 5 years . I have built too much now
That's my biggest fear, for the same reason
I don't think they would be easily shut down, but it's likely they will start to charge... or if there are better alternatives they may be threatend.
if you purchase their plan, it will make it last longer
Microsoft copied literally everything from notion now
Notion, I think what you guys are doing is really great and y'all are so cool. Please never stop doing what you're doing, and you're the best.
I hope notion will be active forever.
Me too :(
yeah what if someday it just disappear... all my stuff will be gone
Brilliant - love the rapid style and clear explanations

Just have been recommended by a friend. This is the tool that I've been looking for. Thank you Notion!🙆🏻🙆🏻🙆🏻
Mind blown! I don't know how I got through this much college without having this tool!
Apart from Notion she also teaching me to say 'Awesome!' ..she really means it when she says it. 🥰

Oh that sounds good.
Truth. Must have feature in Notion.

Missing the 'Pin to status bar' function to pin the to-do list :)
We need centralized tasks displayer from different pages.
With the option to point to the original task page.
And android Widget to show them.
Really helpful and well done video.
Really thankful to notion team
I have a list of tasks that I need to do EVERY week. How would I create a reusable template that I can check off and then archive that week for future reference?
What is the best way to task and clients (you have in the video)? Do you have the best practice setup company and add tasks to company tasks/projects?

It's very useful tip. Thank you.
That's very good, thanks !
Were i can find some one to help me with bild a tasks page.
thank you for direction!
A nice i& enjoyable ntroduction to Notion. TQVM!!
Hi guys , does anybody know how to add the archives? Thank you
I used this method but it doesnt let me move things around, it puts the headings below the heading i wanted the second heading to be.
it won’t let me make columns :( i try dragging it so they’re next to each other and it just keeps reordering the headers instead of putting them side by side @2:18

good tutorial
This needs to be updated. I'm trying to follow along, and there is no "Empty page with icon". It just says "Empty page".
How we can automatically sort compleated taslk to the bottom of list???
Thanks Notion🎓
I can’t seem to place headers next to each other on the iPad as in the example
I love it!
so helpful!
I can’t do this on iPad..😢
How do i create an archive page on the second task template
A very good video. What software did you use to record this tutorial?
Orlando Noriega Salazar camtasia studio or OBS
I'm trying to use notion on my samsung phone but these aren't completely helpful as some things seem to be different
it's a really interesting thing.
Please use the voice of some old nerd, otherwise I can't focus with these sweet angelic sounds
Dragging to the end of the line to create another column doesn't work for me
thank
That was helpful, thank you little kid with girly voice.
Sounds like a woman to me
I heart full width view
yeah
God dammit this voice so cute
This app isn’t user friendly. 😭😭🥺🥺
Are you kidding? It's so easy and efficient. Take a few minutes to learn how to use it, it's very powerful.
It’s very. Looks like there’s a small learning curve.
Who the hell sets a reminder to call mom?...dang it.
Too much info ....🤯
Please adjust the voice tone of the narrator because it is too high. It is very irritating to hear the explanation
Notion is the most stupid app. you click to complete a task it doesn't move to down or get disappered. it just piles done tasks. really irritating.
