I’m excited to try this today. This channel has made me more knowledgeable. What a treat to view more ways to be efficient. Such awesomeness in Leila’s videos. Thanks.
One useful feature I have found is dragging items up or down within the 'My Day' screen to personalise the order in which you want to work on things. This can also be done with in a task to reorder the sub-tasks, if required. Thanks for highlighting flagging tasks from within Outlook to make them appear in To-Do, which I haven't used before.
I just got a job as a transaction coordinator for a real estate company. I'm watching a lot of your videos to get more acquainted with the Microsoft products and find your videos very informative and helpful. Keep making more!
I’ve just started using to do at work and this video is much more useful and clear than anything provided by my employers so far. Thank you for creating this
As an accountant that needs to keep up to date and organized, your videos are invaluable! Really, really good videos.
Thank you Leila! Thank you so much for your beautiful videos! I love learning from you and think you are amazing!
Thank you for this tutorial. Well explained, clear and to the point !
This app saved me from my overarching urge to make complex workflows and always end up switching to something else. It's just ENOUGH! Every list and tasks in one place and no upper limit to the number of lists you can have. It's literally so simple! For a student, tasks are most of the times very straightforward and i know what to do, just spending the minimum amount of time to plan it in MS Tasks saved me!
Without a doubt, Leila is the best person I've come across as explaining Excel (as well as a number of other areas). No, I'm not playing favourites just because I also am a Carleton University alumni. I'm not sure how she does these, but they sure a loaded with a lot of VERY useful content!
I own a small business and we just switched to 365 and your videos are what I provide to my staff to learn useful hints for them. They are short and concise and easy to follow.
Happy to hear that, Liz! I hope your team likes the content.
I watched many of your videos and all I could say is you always blew my mind away
Thank you for being detailed. I am trying to simplify/minimize my life and reduce the millions of places I keep notes and tasks. I think this is a great place to start.
Loving your videos, your pace is calming and instructive at the same time.
+100
Excellent training! Thank you so much for the informative overview!
Wow! I found someone who can explain these programs in a clear and easy to follow flow of information - thank you!
I've been using To Do for a while as a personal and work tool. Until now I've only used it as a basic tick list app, having watched this video I can see so many ways I can utilise the app and up productivity and organisation. Thank you :)
I really like the simplicity of your presentations.
I just started using MS To Do and needed these tips on how to make best use of this tool! Your timing of sharing this tutorial was absolutely spot on for me, thank you 👍☺️
There are so many videos like this about using MS tools but yours are the ONLY ones I have found to be absolutely essential and useful. Thank you for making them.
Wow, thank you Edward!
I had overlooked to-do until now, thanks!
The only one that's missing in my opinion is to have anything due today and uncompleted automatically added to "My Day". So when I start my day, I have "My day" ready to do.
also I wish that reoccurring items would disappear from my day once marked as complete
@@charlespalding can you expand on this? How do you accomplish this? thanks
@@charlespalding is it a setting? I don’t get that prompt automatically.
Correct point.. but there is option named "suggestions" where these items will be present and we can add them in my day if we plan to do today.
There is option of "App Badge" for the same thing.
This! Uncompleted tasks should automatically roll over into the next day without having the manually 'add to my day'. Crazy.
I watched many videos about the app before, but you have resolved all my doubts thanks!!
I absolutely love your tutorial and helpful videos you mention some tips that aren't really obvious to us 👍👍❤
Amazing as always thank you!
Great tutorial on a great app. I use it everyday and still learned something here. Thanks Leila!
Thank you! I've been using this app for a year now, and just now learnt that we can use tags! Though Microsoft needs to add a proper tag system, I wasn't aware about the hashtags. Thank you so much for the info!
Fantastic video. Looking forward to see the video about integration with other apps. Fyi, I'm using To Do with Power Automate. Whenever certain conditions are met, Power Automate creates a task for me. I'm really happy using it and your video gives me more perspective, different angles. Thank you very much for sharing. My best wishes from Colombia.
I love Microsoft To Do! I've started using the Task List to keep track of follow-up items from meetings
i love all your videos. I am learning alot. You also explain things so nicely. Thank you
Brilliant video!!!👏👏👏
Thank you so much! The video is very useful and well explained!

Leila's is a good tutor and her contents are well researched, properly narrated and above all she answers the questions that we are after. GB
Thanks for the kind words, Jason!
Thanks for sharing, I'll give it try.
Where have been all my life. I so needed this some time ago. Ohh well, it's never too late. Thanks heaps for the content. Subscribed.
this was so helpful!!
Thanks for this perfect video. Beside all the good information, your voice tonality is really amazing. It feels good to hear your voice.
There is nothing more satifiyng than the completion sound in MS ToDo
Thank you Leila. Great Tutorial. For me the most liberating feature of To Do is that you get a Fresh start each day with My Day.
In the old days opening up Tasks and seeing 30 tasks pending is not exactly encouraging..
Leila thank you for sharing it was big help
Nice video Leila. Sadly, I've met some disorganised people - who will never have todo lists. There will always be those types in every industry and across other walks of life. For the group of people who want to become more organised, your video is excellent.
Thank you Leila. I started using Planner, but the truth is that To Do is a fairly complete application and it is the one I use regularly. For me it has advantages in handling dates and lists and tasks. Excellent tutorial!
Thanks for sharing!!
i love watching your videos..thx a ton...gained loads of knowledge
Happy to hear that!
Great explanation and details
Very helpful, thanks.
Great explanation, great video. Thank you!
Great video, Leila!! As always!!! Thanks for sharing knowledge!!
My pleasure!!
Your video is great easy to listen and understand
thanks!!! it is easy to understand!
I’ve been using To Do for the past couple of years. I very much feel embedded in the Microsoft ecosystem. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote and To Do - all are great!
Great to hear, Andrew!
Hope they don't monetize To-do and OneNote similar to Office app which can't be used without subscription.
@@ImRan_Ma1ik Yeah, they might do, I reckon. And they'll bump up the yearly subscription fee by £10 as a result.
thank you so much for such a explanatory tutorial!
You're very welcome!
Ahhhh, Thank you, Leila, this morning I was trying to figure out how to view my To Do with due dates and in your perfect explanation method it popped up and my question was answered. Your videos are great and the content is really informative. Thank you
You're so welcome, Keith!
Many Thanks Leila
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the awesome presentation and it was very helpful
Leila is my grandmothers name. First time ive ever seen it anywhere else. Great video! I love to do
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Wow the flagged email integration is amazing
Truly outstanding, concise, and detailed app features covering.
Thank you, this exactly what i needed!
Thanks Leila! I started to use To Do 2 months ago by my own and it's the best tool I've ever had to manage the tool. It's been great to see your video and check out some additional features. I just want to highlight one you missed in One Note.
If you type a sentence in One Note and then you flag it as Outlook task (Ctrl+Shift+1), you will see it automatically in To Do as well.
Thanks for your videos!!
Thanks for sharing!
I create the task from the E-mail and them manage it. Now I will try to do it like your explanation. I had no idea that I could add a friend. Thanks!
Thanks for making this.
Thank you! I was wondering the best way to use it and this was very helpful.
You're very welcome, Kristen!
Very helpful as usual, thank you!
Very informative video. Thank you for sharing
Great video, clear, informative and very useful. Downloaded the app. First task: Watch Part 2.

Thank you, it is very informative and helpful.
This content is amazing. Very useful and easy to understand
Very helpful
Thanks for your Video. It's perfect. Thanks from Brazil :)
Thank you Laila. Have a nice day.
Nice information 🎉
Thanks Madam. I learned a lot from your lecture. Stay blessed :)
So helpful, thanks!
I use #hashtags a lot. I find that if you put the # in the title of the tasks, you can find related items faster
Thank you for making this video! I have been searching for an auto todo list and never knew it was right in front of me.
Awesome video! Thanks. It was very helpful. Now I can organise my tasks much better and use all the hidden features 😍
Glad it was helpful, Valeriia!
Thank you Leila, your video was helpful
Happy to hear that!
sangat menarik dan banyak ilmu yang saya dapat ... terima kasih. Saya menunggu video menarik lainnya dari list to do
Bless you! It was driving me crazy that the side panel had disappeared. Clicking the light bulb icon was all I needed to do to bring it back!
Just perfect as usual...
Thank u so much for this!! ♥️
Thank You so much. I've been trying to stick to 1 company for my productivity, but To Do was not intuitive regarding settings or even use. It has not been very useful to me for the last couple of weeks, but I figured I would try to use it. -You've helped me with at least 3, major changes, that may help it be more useful for me. (So much help considering I was looking at other task options, but prefer to stick with what I already use, when possible.)
Thank YOU! so much.
You are an Angel frrr thank u!!
Thank you for sharing this. I am going to be trying this out this week!
Hope you like it, Vittoria!
Useful, well paced and beautifully explained. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it, Laura!
Super this video help me in my daily office work thanks
Perfect video! You’re a brilliant communicator. Thank you very much 😊
Thank you! 😃
To do seems to be a good app. I am still evaluating it for my use. Thanks for the explanations.
I absolutely adore your tutorials and find them all super helpful. But with "to do" I just notice my head starting to spin. I feel more secure and efficient if I put my to dos on paper by hand. I find it easier to structure tasks in my head if I can directy write them down. But another great tutorial for people who prefer the app option!
Glad you like the videos, Nadja!
Agreed!
Making notes can get very messy for me and on occasion redundant, BUT, I totally agree that sometimes turning away from the computer to the old-school analog, do it by hand version can calm my mind and actually focus on the list itself without being distracted by all the apps, emails, screen-elements. It really feels good to cross an item off the list :D
Thanks!
Thank you!
this was really helpful - thanks!
