    I was in the Fly Shop yesterday heard the Klamath is fishing good. Good luck and thanks for sharing the tie.

      Just got back from there and I just got a couple of half pounders. River was in great shape but I think I was fishing too high up (near I-5). I think the fish might have been more in the middle part of the river.

    This fly is good 😊👍🏼
    It mimics a variety of nymphs on the river.
    Aside the color, the silhouette can also be very effective. Nice!

    I agree! This pattern does so well just about anywhere, especially in larger freestones! Do you ever feel the need to weight them with lead wire and/or a black tungsten bead?

      Yes--I tie both a weighted and an unweighted version. I like to use tungsten beads (copper or gold) and wire. The size of the #8 streamer hook is great to be able to put a lot of weight on. I like to have three weights: .3, .6 and 1 grams.
