Hey! Glad you liked the video 🙏😄 I shall suffer the pain then 😂 though to be honest I actually had a lot fun, the game is a lot more wacky then I remembered 😅
Ooooo, I have 100hrs in this game. My biggest problems was the limited space size and road layouts always favored grids but the thing that kept me going was the aesthetics. Something about hearing a door bell after zoning a residential area, the beeps of the cash register of a commercial zones police sirens after placing down a police station, and hearing the road stretch as you built the roads felt so satisfying. I'm glad that Cities Skylines exists and it's getting a sequel with a whole lot of improvements but I wished they learnt a bit more from the sound design as well as the art style from this game.
Would definitely want to see you make a future city. While Cities Skylines is obviously superior in every way, the Cities of the Future DLC is a really neat idea that I wish a better city builder would use in some way.
I tried suggesting a DLC similar to Cities of Tomorrow (like different styles from cyberpunk to eco-futurism) to the devs of Cities Skylines on Twitter for CS:2 and while their response is obviously vague as usual (ie: there will be DLCs and expansion updates for CS:2), it sounds like a consideration that they'll touch upon in the future.
Despite its colossal failure, it had its positive aspects for its time: 1# Soundtrack: By far, the best thing about this game. IMO the best soundtrack of any game I ever listened to. Amazing music by Christ Tilton. 2# Art Style: I loved how stylish and colorful everything looked. The themes looked neat and consistent with roads and buildings matching. 3# Cites of the Future: I love the concept of Mega structures, self contained city/buildings along with its futuristic looks. 4# Modular buildings: CS is finally catching on to that. It's not only practical and realistic, but also satisfying to upgrade your buildings instead of plopping more of the same everywhere. 5# City Specializations: Realistically, a city would not have a single specializations but it was cool to grow a city having a goal in mind and having interactions among the many tiny "cities". Overall, simcity 2013 was more about feeling, aesthetics, and simulating an idea of a city. It was more like silly toy that you could play with as a mayor. It was not about simulating a real big city, not about realism or letting you develop your unlimited creative skills.
Definitely! As a pick up and play game, you can get pretty far with just an hour of playtime. Though a reboot of the franchise, with more focus on city building like SimCity 4 would be welcome 😅
I always liked the art style of this game and the fact that you could upgrade existing buildings. Something about expanding and improving already existing buildings was fun to watch and do imo. Now CS2 will have this feature so i'm very excited, but man i wish this game was handled correctly too...
This game was pretty fun for what it was. And the art style, music, and other Maxis quirks is something you won't find elsewhere. I'd still play it if it weren't for the comically small city size. Btw there is a one way road mod for the game. A Maxis employee also made some mods for this game on Simtropolis.
Maxis did always have their quirks down! The small cities were unfortunate. Hopefully CS 2 takes some of the upgrade feature from SimCity. Ohh really, usually i don't play with mods that often, only in very specific games 😅 but thanks, one way roads are definitely missing from base game.
I f’ing love the way they did curved roads in this game 5:17 Honestly this game is a tragedy. EA was like “oh so you didn’t like our whacky ass plan to duck up the entire city building expeirence? Guess we just won’t make sim city anymore.” In every other way besides the wonky and stupidly small city sizes there’s just so much to love.
Was a big fan of this game at launch and loved this video. Game was flawed - but so fun. And the soundtrack is incredible - I still listen to it today.
When I bought SC back in 2013 I was very disappointed because of the tiny tiles, I never really played it for long and SC was dead for me. When CS came out it was like a revelation and to this day CITIES Skylines is one of my favorite games. Well, as an old Sim City fan since SC 2000, I took SC2013 out of the woodwork and what can I say, the graphics have aged so well, it has released so much charm and I'm suddenly having a lot of fun with it, especially because of the lack of space to build and specialize several cities in order to then link trade through trade. CS is much better for gigantic building but SC manages to demand more. The small tiles don't bother me anymore, I know if I want to build big cities I'll use CS . SC + CS = ultimate fun❤
There's just something about the look and design of this game that I love. The modular upgrading system is amazing and I am so glad Cites: Skylines II is going to have it.
seems like you finally won the algorithm on your side. you should definetly continue this series, this was a really fun video! (it's quite sad to see that you only have 180 subscribers, actually.) maybe you could also make some cities skylines videos if you want to, especially with the current hype for cs2 (which i am really hyped for, even if only for the fact i can finally create realistic looking farms! you don't know how annoyed i am that i can only plop down small rectangle farms and some greenhouses. it just doesn't look right... and with the modular buildings it feels a bit like CS1 merged with SimCity.) i would really look forward to that. greetings from germany, by the way.
I am quite surprised i would say, never tried anything like it before! Im just thrilled so many enjoyed the video, made i all worth it 🙏 I would consider Cities Skylines aswell, i dont own all the expansions though, so my game is a bit bare bones. Im really excited for Cities Skylines 2 though, haven't seen much of it, i like to keep much of the excitement of trying the game blind for the first time. But im definetly playing it when it comes out! 😄 Glad you liked the video! Have a good one😄
What I really liked about this game is the expendability of the building. You start with a small Polife Department and upgrade it to be like some sort of HQ. That's something that is lacking in Cities Skyline
in denmark we pay 38-39 tax, we get paid more then most contries. but free helphcare and free education, you get money for doin edukation, and we got hygge and perkere
The algorithm is treating this video well, I see 😅 Congrats! I haven't played this game since I wrapped my head around Cities:Skylines. Hope you continue this series!
Yeah, been at work all day and came home to this. Im thrilled that so many people enjoy the video! 😄 Played Cities Skylines aswell, so parked this game many years ago, glad that I went back to it though. Had a lot of fun, it feels more "arcady" than cities skylines, in a good way I would say 😅
this game is wonky and weird at times, but I really like the aesthetic and some of its ideas even the ones people didn't back in the day. I still think a city builder mmo would be cool especially if you could take on different roles like small towns, large cities, medium cites, regional planners, etc.
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏 It's wild actually, never expected it to happen. Honestly I'm just happy so many enjoy the video! Spend a good amount of time on it 😄
I totally forgot about Cities XL! I think they even made a Cities XXL didn't they? Used to play those games alot, i dont remember if they are any good though :D
In case you didn’t realize (which it seems you didn’t), the taxes you’re responsible for in city-builders are city/local taxes. You probably do pay a high tax rate where you are because of federal (country-level) taxes, but these games are primarily based on American standards, and here we have city (municipal), county, state, and/or federal taxes. It all depends on where exactly you live that tells you which ones apply to you. If city taxes exist, they should be absolutely minimal because that likely means there’s already a state tax on top of federal taxes as well.
Honestly I have no clue on how the American tax systems work 😂 but thanks for the explanation, maybe I should lower the taxes a bit then 😅 don't want to be rude.
This is the first video of you that I watch and I didn't know where you're from. Honestly thought you might be from North America until you mentioned Denmark. Congrats on your English!
I love Cities Skylines but avoided this game completely when it came out, and since. Actually there are some interesting things in this compared to that other game, but overall it looks pretty rough. Keep the series going so I can watch and not have to play it myself!
Tbh I really liked this game. The only bad thing is space, if we had like twice the size of the are it could have been a very good game. Also I feel like the overall transit part of the game is not too good but it def doesnt deserve the hate it got imo.
I would say, comparing it to Cities Skylines, then yes it's not great as a city builder. But the game on it's own if that is what you got it is actually alot of fun. It's so wacky, and the arcade like feel makes it a different experience 😄
My last playthrough in this game was with a mod that actually expanded the city plots to twice their size and while it meant building over the water and other terrain that was never meant for that, it did feel just right in terms of size.
Good video, it might not be considered a good city building game but it's got something to it that cities skylines just doesn't, definitely wanna see more of this
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it🙏 I think if you play it for what it is and its wackyness. You can have a lot of fun, but there are definitely better city builders out there 😄

Love the game, I think it has a lot of underappreciated ideas and mechanics that even modern releases like SC2 are missing. Together with art-style the game is still quite enjoyable even today.
The game is really enjoyable to play, it's just sad that the plot size is so small. I'm glad that CS2 implemented some of the features of this game for sure! 😄
From what I recall; resources just completely deplete.. the size of the map is so small that it generally just isn't very fun in late game. I did enjoy the look and feel, and how the service (Schools, Police, Fire) could be expanded without building another station.
Ohh they deplete? Really? Well I guess I would be realistic 😅 You build on all of the plot really fast, so I feel actually utilizing all the resources are pretty hard. The upgrade feature is nice! Would love to see that in CS2 😄

Yeah, the always online was not a good decision. Glad they at least changed it with time. City size was indeed a depressing downgrade from SimCity 4. Though I would mind seeing a reboot of the franchise, as long as it's done right that is! 😂
Yea, i totally forgot. I went back and played SimCity for after this and the name came up 😅 Not that I ever added Dr. Vu in either game 😂 maybe I should see what it's all about at some point.
I remember getting SC2013 soon after it came out, and though it ended up being a disappointment, I did think it looked pretty and it was still fun tinkering around with stuff.
SC5 was the biggest gaming disappointment in my life. It huge potential but the tiny maps, broken traffic AI, DRM and server issues, the DLC politics and lacking mod support made it a really bad game. Great video btw, it was really entertaining and well made, never had expected you're such a small UA-camr yet!
It was definitely a disappointment, not the biggest for me though. Had my fair share with WoW over the years 😂 I don't usually play with mods that often, though they can be great for a game! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏😄
wow, revieweing this after C:S2 dropped... they were definitely "inspired" by this game even moreso than C:S1! the underground power connections, the way assets "wiggle" when you are holdingand plopping them, midular buildings, the tile border style and even the tile size! thankfully, there is WAY more than one tile in C:S2 though lol
It's so similar in so many ways, but i've always said that some of the features in this game were very good. But the decisions made hold the game back in so many ways, mainly the plot size. But the water and electricity following the roads has to be my favorite! Really glad they brought that to CS2 😅
i wanted to play a citybuilding game and came back to simcity 2013 only because looking at cityskyline looking thru the DLC the game gets over 100$ real quick. In these tight times having simcity 2013 already available to me seemed simpler lol.
That is exactly how I feel whenever I get the urge to play the Sims 😅 Though there's no real cheaper option I tend to go for Sims 3 as I own all dlc anyway 😂
(0:53) The game predated EA Play, so when EA decided to offer it on that service, they would of course include a lot of the paid DLC packs. I'm certain they did the same with 'The Sims 4'. (1:01) EA did a promotional tie-in with Nissan and the first generation Leaf?! Wow. It reminded me not only of the recent Transport Evolved video about battery replacements for that model, but also of Nintendo having done a similar thing with Mercedes-Benz and the pre-facelift GLA in Mario Kart 8 which also included an advertising campaign in Japan.
Yeah I figured, I got all the dlc cause I have Game Pass Ultimate. But actually with Sims 4 you only get the base game(which is free either way) and then the first expansion 😅 The tie-in is a neat marketing trick, though i don't think I have ever used the ingame item 😂
I haven't even thought about this game in a long time. When it launched, it looked like a downgrade from SimCity 4, and it had all kinds of problems, including the god-awful always online requirement that has unfortunately since become common. At the time, this wasn't commonplace yet, and gamers revolted against it. I didn't buy it, and to this day, I will not buy a game that has an always online requirement. I remember this game as the game that killed the SimCity franchise. Last I checked, it was only available from EA and hadn't been released on GOG or other storefronts yet. I'm slightly curious about it, but not enough to want to get an account with EA and use their launcher. If it ever turns up on GOG at a low price, maybe I'll give it a try.
I remember buying it when it came out, but like you say it was only online. Used to play it with a friend, i think all the DLC i have comes with the GamePass Ultimate Edition(EA play). Figured later that since i connected my EA account to my Xbox, that might be it. At this point i think you can actually play the game offline if i remember correctly, it say single player mode when i launch the game atleast :D Not a big fan of the always online either. Atleast i would say if you do decide to get it, grab it on sale ;)
I honestly loved the idea of the electicity and water ticks through the streets. I would've wished that for Cities Skylines. If you need to connect every building to streets, then why not build electric cables and water pipes under them? Besides that it doesn't look that it became better. On the other hand i think i haven't seen the words Nissan and Leaf. Could've been the editing though.

@@joshuam.6027my god if I could build my cyberpunk fantasy dreams 😍 this game is actually the closest I got lol.
Cities of tomorrow is fantastic, made the game 5x better...and the tiny plots somewhat manageable.
Holy moly SimCity, the last one I played was SimCity 2000. Nice video! I’m now a new subscriber! Greetings from the Netherlands
Hey! Glad you liked the video 🥳 Never tried SimCity 2000, played SimCity 4 a bit when I was younger, I was never any good at it though 😂
@@victiusplays I was also not good at it. I like the old Sokol games.
Me too, I might go back and try SimCity for again at some point 😄
Despite its colossal failure, it had its positive aspects for its time:
1# Soundtrack: By far, the best thing about this game.
Yeah, I disagree on the first two and the latter three aren't important to me when playing a city builder so i get why i didn't like it
This game somehow is better looking than Cities Skylines
I always liked the art style of this game and the fact that you could upgrade existing buildings. Something about expanding and improving already existing buildings was fun to watch and do imo. Now CS2 will have this feature so i'm very excited, but man i wish this game was handled correctly too...
The upgrade feature was/is nice! Definitely looking forward to CS2! 😄
"do you know how many taxes we have in danemark?"
**laugh in French**
The biggest crimes of this game are restricting the size of the map so tiny and road determining the density of the building along it.
One of the best soundtrack ever made. The art style were great , and because of this game , we going to have the best city building ever.CS2 ;]
I agree. The soundtrack is awesome. Maybe Cities Skylines 2 can get a great composer and we will enjoy that one even more.
I f’ing love the way they did curved roads in this game 5:17
Honestly this game is a tragedy. EA was like “oh so you didn’t like our whacky ass plan to duck up the entire city building expeirence? Guess we just won’t make sim city anymore.”
In every other way besides the wonky and stupidly small city sizes there’s just so much to love.
Man, this is a trip down memory lane
Was a big fan of this game at launch and loved this video. Game was flawed - but so fun. And the soundtrack is incredible - I still listen to it today.
I feel like City Skylines is a simulator while Sim City is a game. Sim City was a lot more fun.
I dont disagree, i think what it really comes down to is personal preference :D I enjoy both games in different ways
Damn, this video was SO GOOD!!! Thx for that, hope for more :) good feelings from Brazil 🇧🇷
So glad you liked it! 🙏 More is definitely to come 😄
When I bought SC back in 2013 I was very disappointed because of the tiny tiles, I never really played it for long and SC was dead for me.
Im just thrilled so many enjoyed the video, made i all worth it 🙏
I would consider Cities Skylines aswell, i dont own all the expansions though, so my game is a bit bare bones. Im really excited for Cities Skylines 2 though, haven't seen much of it, i like to keep much of the excitement of trying the game blind for the first time. But im definetly playing it when it comes out! 😄
Glad you liked the video! Have a good one😄
10/10 Cities:Skylines Ad xD
if they would just have given people huge zones to build in it could have been saved, it was move like sim town.
What I really liked about this game is the expendability of the building. You start with a small Polife Department and upgrade it to be like some sort of HQ. That's something that is lacking in Cities Skyline
I agree! That is an awesome feature, but it looks like something along those lines will be in Cities Skylines 2 🤔
in denmark we pay 38-39 tax, we get paid more then most contries. but free helphcare and free education, you get money for doin edukation, and we got hygge and perkere
Still a lot though 😂 but the free services are nice no doubt. And the hygge never forget the hygge.
The algorithm is treating this video well, I see 😅 Congrats!
I haven't played this game since I wrapped my head around Cities:Skylines.
Hope you continue this series!
Yeah, been at work all day and came home to this. Im thrilled that so many people enjoy the video! 😄
Played Cities Skylines aswell, so parked this game many years ago, glad that I went back to it though. Had a lot of fun, it feels more "arcady" than cities skylines, in a good way I would say 😅
“Round a bouts do not work in this game” umm well considering all you did was make a circle out of a 2 way street I wound say no duh.
this game is wonky and weird at times, but I really like the aesthetic and some of its ideas even the ones people didn't back in the day. I still think a city builder mmo would be cool especially if you could take on different roles like small towns, large cities, medium cites, regional planners, etc.
how do you only have 700 something subs. great vid man
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏😄
Always fun to see a channel get around 400 views per video and than YT recommendations hit… 💪🏻
Fun video man!
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
It's wild actually, never expected it to happen. Honestly I'm just happy so many enjoy the video! Spend a good amount of time on it 😄
i never played SimCity as a kid because i used to play and chill on City XL but I like the nice graphics in my POV broski.
I totally forgot about Cities XL! I think they even made a Cities XXL didn't they?
Used to play those games alot, i dont remember if they are any good though :D
Really cool video, make series out of it!
Glad you liked the video! 🙏 I am working on some more from SimCity 😄
It's Simcity 2013 10th anniversary
It is! Actually kinda scary tbh. That just means I'm getting old 😂
In case you didn’t realize (which it seems you didn’t), the taxes you’re responsible for in city-builders are city/local taxes.
Im commenting to help with the algorithm cause your video is really entertaining also yes make more please (the editing is really good)
Really appreciate it! Thank you so much 🙏
Great video mate ❤
Thanks man! 🙏 Glad you liked it
Please do more of this game, it's just been swept under the table and left to rot. It's a wonderful game. I'm new here and enjoyed what I saw.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏 more is definitely coming. Despite all the flaws I had a lot of fun 😄
Great video, I Would love to see this becoming a series
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
I'd like to see a let's play on this, specially a city focused on capitali- I mean, on exploiting natural resources.
Exploiting? Oh I would never 🙄😂
This is the first video of you that I watch and I didn't know where you're from. Honestly thought you might be from North America until you mentioned Denmark. Congrats on your English!
Thanks 😄 glad there's not to much of the Danish accent left, it hard to lose 😂
Why Simcity 2013 had an smaller building space? I would like to know.
Me too! But i think it was a design decision, maybe to have the game run smoother? I dont know if they ever told us why the plots are so small
I remember this game fondly. and still enjoy it from time to time. so yes please more videos.
I really didn't think I would enjoy it as much, but it really caught me! Maybe it's the excitement for CS 2 🤔
I love Cities Skylines but avoided this game completely when it came out, and since. Actually there are some interesting things in this compared to that other game, but overall it looks pretty rough. Keep the series going so I can watch and not have to play it myself!
It is pretty rough simulation wise compared to Cities Skylines, but for a more arcade like playthrough i think it's actually enjoyable :D
I just found this channel and this video was very entertaining so I subscribed
Glad you liked it! Hope you stay around 😄
Have you seen cities skylines 2
Ohh I have! And I'm so excited, looks really promising 😄
Let us all just take a moment to appreciate Paradox interactive for taking over city building games.
superb graffics i wish cs had. hopefuffy cs2 will
There is something satisfying about Maxis graphics 😅
Though I think CS2 will take a more "realistic" approach.
Dawg, I have been addicted to this game. I got my kids into it and they aren’t easy customers. I think this could be another skate 3 on our hands.
Ohh I long for the day I can play games with my son! It will be a couple of years though 😅
Please do more SimCity videos, you are reliving OUR childhood :D
I loved how there was an online aspect ot this game. Just wish you could do more with it.
Yeah definitely! The multiplayer function was fun! Used to play it a lot with my friends back in the day 😄
Tbh I really liked this game.
@@404findnotnamedwhat, is there a mod for that? Can you give me a link pls?
Playing this multiplayer was so so so good when it worked.
I like your voice a lot! And please continue!
Thanks a lot! 🙏 I will 😉
Good video, it might not be considered a good city building game but it's got something to it that cities skylines just doesn't, definitely wanna see more of this
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it🙏
I think if you play it for what it is and its wackyness. You can have a lot of fun, but there are definitely better city builders out there 😄
I would love to see you try and build a mega tower (from the cities of the future DLC)
Never tried the DLC so I might give that a go 😄
@@victiusplays if you do, I'd recommend going for every floor type and both the normal and the fancy one; there are 5 special top floors to choose from so you could also grind for one of each, but that's up to you
What is the version of this game i d like play it now
It's the 2013 version, I think with all the dlc. It might be the version that comes with EA Play or Game Pass Ultimate in my case, as I found out 😅
Love the game, I think it has a lot of underappreciated ideas and mechanics that even modern releases like SC2 are missing. Together with art-style the game is still quite enjoyable even today.
The game is really enjoyable to play, it's just sad that the plot size is so small.
I'm glad that CS2 implemented some of the features of this game for sure! 😄
Its really good. Just held back.
It is! but i had more fun than i actually thought i would 😄
That roundabout truly was an American moment.
You could do a modded version where you can build outside the city borders.
I'm not to big on mods I always tend to crash my games trying get them compatible with one another 😂 But maybe in the future I will.
From what I recall; resources just completely deplete.. the size of the map is so small that it generally just isn't very fun in late game. I did enjoy the look and feel, and how the service (Schools, Police, Fire) could be expanded without building another station.
Ohh they deplete? Really? Well I guess I would be realistic 😅
You build on all of the plot really fast, so I feel actually utilizing all the resources are pretty hard.
The upgrade feature is nice! Would love to see that in CS2 😄
I'm still struggling in Simoleons
This game must be remastered with better 3d graphics, bigger and a little more realistic cities.
Also the building upgrades that game has its Very nice thing compared to cities skylines that hasn't got it.
I think Sim Citys buildings and graphics keep up pretty well
Can u get mods for this game? tryna get one to make the land bigger lol
Haven't seen a pro channel with no subs in a long time, not kidding, literally looked for this to be a recently opened secondary channel or something, then realized you also reply to comments, so in fact I was right, this is an actual good channel featuring clean audio, good overall vid editing, it's weird to see it having 300 subs instead of 30K or 300K 🤔
Well, guess it's a matter of time, maybe 1 year from now or so, anyway I already did my job my liking the vid 😂
Thanks for the kind words 😊🙏
Doing my best to get to all comments, but I think it's fair to say I have never received this many before 😂
Thanks again for the like and the kind words! It's really appreciated 😄
The game had so much potential... The small city size, basic traffic management and always online were the things that killed it.
Yeah, the always online was not a good decision. Glad they at least changed it with time.
City size was indeed a depressing downgrade from SimCity 4.
Though I would mind seeing a reboot of the franchise, as long as it's done right that is! 😂
Dr Vu was from Sim City 4 as well
Yea, i totally forgot. I went back and played SimCity for after this and the name came up 😅
Not that I ever added Dr. Vu in either game 😂 maybe I should see what it's all about at some point.
it's really just an excuse to fly a UFO
This game still looks better than Skylines. The art style is amazing
I just installed my copy again today and had a quick game. The build up of CS2 got me into it
I'm really excited for CS2 aswell! Kinda think that is what got me to play city builders again 😅
@victiusplays I think the devs have done the best reveal to release ever in my opinion (given no delays)
@@firemanslick At Least I hope so 😅
how to install
i still like this game alot, didn't play it in the last 2 years but still a great game
It is! Still sad about the plot sizes though 🫤
Watching this guy deal with traffic is beyond excruciating lol.
You should see my cities in Cities Skylines then 😂 You would cry, I do at least 😅
This game looks better than cities skylines
I remember getting SC2013 soon after it came out, and though it ended up being a disappointment, I did think it looked pretty and it was still fun tinkering around with stuff.
Definitely not like the other sim city games, the plots are very small. Kinda disappointing, still think some of the gameplay is fun though 😅
@@victiusplays At least it’s not Sim City Societies
SC5 was the biggest gaming disappointment in my life. It huge potential but the tiny maps, broken traffic AI, DRM and server issues, the DLC politics and lacking mod support made it a really bad game. Great video btw, it was really entertaining and well made, never had expected you're such a small UA-camr yet!
It was definitely a disappointment, not the biggest for me though. Had my fair share with WoW over the years 😂
I don't usually play with mods that often, though they can be great for a game!
Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏😄
holding either shift or ctrl should let you upgrade whole roads i think? not sure anymore at the moment.
I dont know what, but Simcity has something that Cities Skyline doesnt, and I sincerely miss it.
Honestly... So do I. We still have the old ones ofc, but a new SimCity would hurt imo 😅
Paradox needs to add modular buildings to CS2
They seem to be actually, not modular in the same way. But upgradeable to service more citizens as the city grows 😄
wow, revieweing this after C:S2 dropped... they were definitely "inspired" by this game even moreso than C:S1! the underground power connections, the way assets "wiggle" when you are holdingand plopping them, midular buildings, the tile border style and even the tile size! thankfully, there is WAY more than one tile in C:S2 though lol
It's so similar in so many ways, but i've always said that some of the features in this game were very good. But the decisions made hold the game back in so many ways, mainly the plot size.
But the water and electricity following the roads has to be my favorite! Really glad they brought that to CS2 😅
the graphics and the ui on this game are still modern
They are still quite good, no doubt 😄
I wouldn't mind a series of this before CS:2 comes out. Would be an interesting transition.
Really excited for CS 2! Hope it's a banger 🙏😄
@@victiusplays fingers crossed :)
i wanted to play a citybuilding game and came back to simcity 2013 only because looking at cityskyline looking thru the DLC the game gets over 100$ real quick. In these tight times having simcity 2013 already available to me seemed simpler lol.
That is exactly how I feel whenever I get the urge to play the Sims 😅
Though there's no real cheaper option I tend to go for Sims 3 as I own all dlc anyway 😂
How did you do this? They shut the servers down years ago and it's an online only game.
They made it single player awhile back 😅
@@victiusplays Ah ok
But actually with Sims 4 you only get the base game(which is free either way) and then the first expansion 😅
The tie-in is a neat marketing trick, though i don't think I have ever used the ingame item 😂
@@victiusplays
Oh. I was guessing as I'm not a Game Pass subscriber.
@@kbhasi apparently EA Play comes with the ultimate game pass edition, I just didn't realize when playing at first 😂
I haven't even thought about this game in a long time.
Atleast i would say if you do decide to get it, grab it on sale ;)
i love your voice. subscribing :)
Thank you 😅
And thanks for the sub 🙏
This game makes cs1 look crazy good. Guess 9 tiles is decent. 😊
CS1 is crazy good. This game makes cities XL look good.
Always played Cities with mods that unlock more than the 9 tiles. This was very small compared to that 😅
Another video would be great! A whole series would be top notch!
Definitely looking into doing another one! Glad you enjoy 🙏😄
That is one thing I'm glad they used in Cities Skylines 2! Definitely 😅
@@victiusplays They did? That's great.
I don't remember if I downloaded mods or used the freeway but roundabouts can happen, they just need help.
this to me was such a good game but you needed more space to create a nice city. they should make a new one.
More!
🙏😉
