That’s a great looking everyday watch
I bought this model with a green dial and a brown leather strap.
Kind of serves as a replacement for a watch that got stolen out of one my shoes while i was swimming in a river,in the summer of '87.
It was just two weeks before i left my homecountry Romania for good.
My mother,my brother and me had been given permission to leave,our country still being a communistic dictatory by that time,after my father managed to escape two years prior.
That watch that someone stole on a riverbank out of my shoe in Caransebeṣ,37 years ago,is one that i would have loved to have in my watch collection for it was my first watch ever.
My mother gifted it to me when i was eight years of age.
It was a bulgarian one with a dark green dial,black leather strap and a handwinding movement.
This beautiful Citizen timepiece almost had me forget that loss,being way more beautiful than the one mentioned.
Just cannot take my eyes off of that amazing green dial.

It is a crystal seven 1965 model reissued, so that model is collectible. Beautiful and a bang for the buck. Just got the blue one wich also happens to be stunning
has a alternative in this pricepoint you also have the Timex Marlin Automatic 40mm
Surely Citizen could improve the look and glide of that rotor.

Beautiful dial. Wish the crystal wasn't mineral, but at the low price it is worth considering. To bad they cut corners like that. I would rather have quartz, thinner and sapphire. While this series leans dressy, I think the leather stitching on the ban gives it a more casual look. Certainly not a sports watch, but fine for casual everyday wear, business casual and business.
This is actually a very good alternative to the Bambino, which have become stupidy expensive lately, I mean like 300 EUR for the open-heart versions! Even the Tsuyosa Citizens are cheaper than some of the blue, green and ruby dial Bambinos!
I really don't get the hype for the Orient Bambino 💁♂
@@TheWatchScore , the Bambino was actually very good value for the 2021 prices.
I bought a 36mm rose gold Bambino for my wifer for 95 EUR and she loves it.
It is impeccably built and even the unimpressive movement is impressively engraved with details that require a magnifying glass to observe.
But come 2022-2023, the prices for the Bambinos (and the Orient Divers) have gone to hell!
250-350EUR?

I know the feeling of getting the "bug". It's fortunate that I'm piss poor otherwise I'd blow through my savings to crave the bug. BTW have a check at Orient Bambino line. Best budget dress watch line imo
Yeah Bambino is very popular, I’m aware! It just never fell on my radar yet, maybe I haven’t yet seen a dial that took my attention

I used to have Citizen watches when I was a kid, until I became a teen! I LOVE THEM!
I have collected watches for many years and rotate my collection every 3 or 4 months. It is soon my birthday and my sons asked what I would like, and the above watch is the answer. It will be the only watch they will buy me. This is a special watch and will be more special from my sons. I have just come across your channel and enjoy the enthusiasm you emit in your videos. Keep it up .And remember "so many watches but only 2 arms".

Citizen has real hidden gems that they don't really market so much in the west.. but in Japan for example they compete directly even with Grand Seiko!
Citizen is my first automatic watch that i bought for myself. But unfortunately it was lost. I will buy citizen again in future
