Love these videos Luke! And I always appreciate how you make sure to use up all your leftovers, I'm an organic veg farmer so I know how much work and time goes into growing fresh produce. Thank you for being a great example 🌿💐!
When my children were small in order to use up bits we called the dinner Thing😊😊. On holidays in camping parks in France and Italy it was called caravan creole. Love watching your channel.
I am so hungry after watching you cook! Looks so good. Do you have a recipe you love for an eggplant dish? Please maybe share in future video for us. Thanks and have a great rest of the weekend. I always enjoy watching you cook.
Some really lovely recipes Luke. Great to see Maggie inspecting the shopping lol, my cat Mila does the same, looking out for any goodies. Enjoy the sunshine all, and have a lovely Sunday 🙂
I put all of my dried goods into jars as you can see when it’s getting low. I do buy in bulk for topping ups. All good cooks have a healthy pantry.. 😀👍👍👍👍

Hello from a new-ish subscriber. Love your generous and inspirational posts. Thank you for being you, as they say and thank you to Maggie and Sarah too. Love a food shop (with home ware!) and leftover cooking. Supermarket shopping is a favourite must whenever I'm back in the UK and honestly where I find the most appreciated gifts for friends and family. Couldn't agree more on frozen croissants, best thing since sliced bread :)
I LOVE to make meals to use up ingredients! I'm always condensing packaging and recycling jars and such. So smart not over buying to save on spoilage and waste Luke~ ❤ Joan
So glad you did a cooking video. I’ve missed them. Both meals you made look delicious. Hope you and Zara are having a great weekend. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida 😎🦩🌞🦩😎
Great vlog Luke. Your cooking skills are explanatory. Loved to see Maggie, she is such as sweet girl. Also good to see Zara, you both are always such fun to watch x
Hi Luke! I love these videos so much, they’re my absolute favourites! I love cooking but need new inspiration! Summer is my busiest time with all the after school activities and sports starting up again, I’d love to make more use of my slow cooker for ease but don’t know my summer slow cook recipes…any ideas?
ahh thank you so much! I’m not going to lie, we don’t use our slow cooker much in the summer at all but I can absolutely have a think of some recipes for sure x
Hi Luke! You're smart to look at what needs using up in your cupboards & fridge. We hardly ever remember to do that in our home before doing a grocery run! Lol 😄 I enjoy watching you food shop & like seeing what products are in your grocery stores. The udon stir fry looked really good & I think I might try it on my end with chicken. Thanks for another fun vlog! Much love from Fort Worth, Texas! 🤠🌷🌞
Hi Luke, from Canada, love your videos, a tip to keep your herbs, fresh all week, damp in a paper towel and wrap them in the damp paper towel and then put the paper towel with the herbs in a Ziploc bag and keep in your fridge
Hi Luke, thank you for this video. Always enjoy your cooking and recipes. Ill definitely try them🙏. My cat also inspects the shopping when I arrive home and unpack the bags. Gale PS your hands and nails always look so well cared for and manicured, beautiful with your rings.
Thanks Luke 👌 I love Waitrose 😍 Hubby and I treat ourselves to their meal deals every now and then on a weekend ♥️ my fave is their Chinese and Indian take away range so yummy such great choice 😋 hope you and Zara have had a lovely weekend 👍 x
I find the flavour of sesame oil dissipates if you cook with it. I prefer to drizzle it over the stir fry when cooked as a seasoning. Thanks for a lovely video.
Really enjoyed this vlog luke ,love how you never waste anything from the fridge.I use veg up ,making soups ,ratatoise ?🤔.Have a great week lovely people😊
I can’t believe how much plastic packaging and especially with the mushrooms. Mushrooms should never be stored or bought in plastic wrapping. The galette looked really delish! I might try that recipe, cheers
I don't know if you have covered this in past videos. You have different shapes in pasta, apart from the classic bolognes, carbanara etc what dishes would you use each pasta shape? I hope that makes sense 😅
Ahh Liz honestly, we use all different shapes for all kinds of dishes❤ there is no rule book as such. Just whatever you fancy. I like conchiglie for anything pasta sauces as I feel like it clings to it more. Rigatoni is great for lighter recipes like pesto or olive oil/garlic etc
Hi Luke, how are you, I am just watching your new video, and I think you should become a TV chef, cause you can cook well and explain how to cook things well, however I don't like all the things you cook but I would most definitely eat the cakes you make, take care and stay safe x
Look forward to watching it lo ve the leftover videos people throw so much away that could be used I take no notice of use by dates unless it smells off or its wrinkled beyond resuscitation 😂
Hey luke, quick Question : What are those foody storage bags u had wen packing up ur groceries 4 the wk?? where u get them, are they vac pac? throw away? or re-use?......they look different..... ty xx
Ahh I’ve linked them in the description box. They are from Lakeland. They’re vacuum bags so you can suck out all the air & keep the food fresher for longer
Love these videos Luke! And I always appreciate how you make sure to use up all your leftovers, I'm an organic veg farmer so I know how much work and time goes into growing fresh produce. Thank you for being a great example 🌿💐!
The way you made gorgeous meals with mostly leftovers and thing's needing to be used up is so clever Luke! Love your work 😊
Thank you so much Corrina ❤
I love love love these videos, have missed them so much, Thanks for bringing them back, take care Luke lots of love xxx

Thank you so much Nicola, they’ll be more of a regular thing for sure❤

My favorite type of video from Luke ❤
Could you do an updated video on how your journey of saving for a house is coming along please? Maybe more tips and tricks you are using?

Luke you are looking especially good today. Healthy and happy. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Yay so glad to see this video Luke - you've given me so much inspiration for meals in the past so I'm really happy to see this back x
Seasame oil is for finishing dishes for flavour , if you cook with it you just lose the flavour, but you can still fry with it 🤗
That’s great to know Susan thank you❤
Love when you share food shops and meal recipes
Hi Luke I've just watched this video at 10.45pm and I'm now hungry despite a delicious salad at dinner time! Fab recipes.

Vegan creamcheese Philadelfia, made of almonds & oats, is indeed really good!
I love these videos so much :) have missed them so much.
Yum thanks for sharing both meals look delicious 😊

Really enjoyed this vlog luke ,love how you never waste anything from the fridge.I use veg up ,making soups ,ratatoise ?🤔.Have a great week lovely people😊
Love shopping ( although I never shop in Waitrose 😂) and cooking vlogs.
You both have really great taste so I think you will do well I am a bit worried about the red on all walls ❤
Those Mars ice cream bars are lovely!
Enjoyed this Luke x
Hi,love the videos, best wishes from Leicestershire.
would love to see a what i eat in a day from both your and zaras perspectives.
I can’t believe how much plastic packaging and especially with the mushrooms. Mushrooms should never be stored or bought in plastic wrapping. The galette looked really delish! I might try that recipe, cheers
Is that a Zwilling food storage system you have? What do you think of it please
Ahh it’s fantastic Jo! The fresh & save is great! It’s a bit of an outlay but it’s great
Bought that rosé on your recommendation it's amazing! On offer in Morrisons too
We just finished the bottles this weekend, absolutely lovely ❤
I do like waitrose they have some lovely products but I couldn’t afford to do a week shop, some lovely recipes though
I don't know if you have covered this in past videos. You have different shapes in pasta, apart from the classic bolognes, carbanara etc what dishes would you use each pasta shape? I hope that makes sense 😅

Having the confidence to cook and create a made up recipe with left overs shows you what can be done.
Food for thought!
I wish we had hand scanners in our store carts. It would certainly speed up check out. I live in Canada.
Ahh it certainly helps with speed for sure Fay❤
Morning😂😂
I really enjoy your channel. I love going shopping for food. My dad did as well and I think I got it from him.
In N C , USA, never seen scanner like you use at the grocery store.
What will you make with the butter beans? Nice recipes x
Ahh I was going to make some chipotle & pepper butterbeans on toast❤
Well, I can't cook or bake, I can burn water tho, haha and I hate food shopping. But! Watching you is a delight! ❤
Hi Luke, how are you, I am just watching your new video, and I think you should become a TV chef, cause you can cook well and explain how to cook things well, however I don't like all the things you cook but I would most definitely eat the cakes you make, take care and stay safe x
❤😊❤Luke what temperature and how long does the tart go in the oven❤😊❤
Ahh I baked mine for 20 minutes at 180°c
@@LukeCatleugh thanks Luke. I’m going to give this a go.
If any wait till you have an organic garden
Lidl and Aĺdi and at a push tesco for what they dont have wouldnt even consider waitrose too expensive but love watching your food videos
I’m filming a video this week trying to show how Waitrose compares to other supermarkets. It’s surprising. Thanks for watching🧡
Look forward to watching it lo ve the leftover videos people throw so much away that could be used I take no notice of use by dates unless it smells off or its wrinkled beyond resuscitation 😂
This is madness!!
Where did you purchase your meal planner from
Hey! It was from Paperchase 🧡
Were you a chef 👨🍳 ❤

@@LukeCatleugh amazing ty xx
YUMMO. 😮
Maple syrup needs to be in the fridge after it's opened. Otherwise it goes moldy.
Morning Luke
Morning Calvin! Happy Sunday
Waitrose too expensive for me. Love the recipes though ❤
The good 👍 😊
Sometimes it pays to buy from more expensive supermarkets as the food lasts. I find Aldi stuff has to be thrown more often.
Savvy shopping for me is Farm Foods not Waitrose 😂😂
Im a Aldi girl 😂😂
I love Aldi and farm foods 👍
@@paulineohare1577 so am I
Farmfoods & Iceland for me!
Is waitross more pricey? I’m in the USA. We do have Aldi here.
i never know what to do with chick peas or lentils im not a vegeterain but probably healthier than pasta.
i dont know how you stay so organised where do you get your energy from
Add them to curry's, stews, salads, make hummus. Lebanese lentil salad. Lentil dahl, lentil soup, burgers/patties etc. You can do so much with them
Are you both a couple or just friends. Xx
Hi luke are you not vegan anymore?
Hi Steven, I’ve never been vegan but I now eat fish
Waitrose……..speaks volumes double income families can’t afford Waitrose great content very level
Jesus Kenny, that’s a bit passive aggressive? Waitrose is actually cheaper than Aldi & Tesco on hundreds of products😂 calm down
Savvy isn’t Waitrose or Hello Fresh. Please keep it real!
Why is that Colin?
