Honda Pioneer 1000-5 high idle rough idle check engine IAT sensor or IACV sensor bad?

Code is 9-2 which points to IACT Idle Air Control Temp sensor. I checked my sensor and wiring from sensor to computer. Wires toned good. Sensor changes voltage cold vs hot. Only 2010 miles on 2017 P1k. Sometimes won’t go into gear because of high idle.

Did you figure out what was wrong? Mine is doing the same (idling at 2000 RPMs). No check engine light though.

Problem was over crimped wires from the factory at the IACV plug. Replaced plug and crimped new connectors on the 4 wires.

If you don’t have a check engine light your iacv may need cleaned. Search how to clean Honda iacv. My pioneer only had 1200 miles when this happened. Started with just a low or high idle but got a check engine in a few hours of the idle not being normal. Pioneer 1000 also famous for fuel injector wires being over crimped from factory as well which will cause wire to break inside insulation (looks ok but wire is broken).
