This album is 100% going to take over my whole life and my personality the same exact way that Dance Fever did when it came out, it will break me and rebuild me, and I will cry and scream and sing at the top of my lung for damn sure.
This is why I love Hozier so much. His music is a complex mixture of intelligence, poetry, sadness, darkness, hope, and rawness. You gave a really solid background on the story of the song!! Great great work
Hozier fan since 2015. Saw him twice in SF that year. I've been under a rock for a few years. Just heard this song for the first time today. What a beautiful masterpiece. Thank you for taking the time to break it down for us!
I really hope, you get to meet Hozier in person, someday, and may be have a whole conversation with him about his lyricism. I always used to dive deep into his songs alone, given my numbing social anxiety, so, finding your channel was a such a relief above! Cheers to all the likeminded folks who feels utterly alone in their pursuit existence.
I audibly gasped when I heard this live, that transition from De Selby pt 1 to pt 2, I was in shock. The combination of the lyrics, combined with that guitar/bass, going absolutely feral for this song.
With the candles, the nice make up and the jazz background it felt like i was at a date chatting about Hozier and i must say, there is no better situation than this one to talk about De Selby, marvelously done Aussie!
You've done it again! Loved the additional context about the Third Policeman , framing with Inferno, and your interpretation of the colors of a fire/sky changing. That line about "i only need the working of my hands" reminds me of Hesiod's Works and Days. There's a section in the poem about Eris as Goddess of chaos who is also a daughter of Nyx, stating that "she rouses even the resourceless person to work." The speaker worshipping their love , despite the strife, and being willing to sacrifice themselves to the night is so powerful. This is hungry work!
@adamgladstone2136 just saw this. Nyx is the Green goddess of the night and so powerful that even Zeus fears her (in one myth, Zeus is afraid to enter Nyx's home because he's afraid of upsetting her, even after Hers got Nyx's son Hypnos to play a trick on Zeus.). Nyx is older and more powerful than Zeus and he has good reason to fear her! In line with Hozier's work, there's a worshiping of the darkness and the nighttime. And, in the Third Policeman, where the De Selby character comes from, they mention that the "black air" that causes the nighttime (according to de Selby's philosophy) might be mistranslated to "black hair" as a 'raven-haired woman' who causes the nighttime. I'm excited to hear Sons of Nyx - I'm expecting Doom (Moros), Death (Thanatos), and Sleep (Hypnos) will play a big role based on other Hozier lyrics. Hope this helps.
I felt that in De Selby part 1 is actually a search for the "True self" in dichotomous opposition to the concept of "personality", or if not personality, either ways the way other people look at us or the way we think people look at us, call it as you want. The search for substance in opposition to form. If you actually try to do it, try to forget your appearence and your name, your job and whatever, (with all mirroring gone from the world) sitting in the dark, like it was a meditation exercise, you will find that actually the mind will reject the new empty space filling it with something or someone. Probably the part when he sings in gaelige is about his true self actually reaching his consciousness, shining but coming slowly and silently as the night.
I went to see his Reading gig about a week ago, it was incredible. I'm not sure if fellow songwriters/writers have felt this but after listening to Hozier songs in more detail and pulling apart the lyrics, they're so helpful in making one realise how much you can truly base a song on. I'd never thought of basing a poem or song on a characters perspective or using an idea of a character but after listening to so many of Hoziers songs he pulls ideas from SO many places. Its very inspiring :)
So happy to be this early. Everytime Hozier releases a song the first thing i think about is " what is Honor Luca going to say about it??" love your vids
Everytime a Hozier album comes around, I fall Into this rabbit whole of being obessed with him all over again haha and this channel is definetly helping fuel that 😅 Thank you so much for all the Hozier videos. You are very smart, and It does help to have someone as intelligent as you to explain certain literary aspects of his work, which make me even more obsessed about this man haha Also, you are absolutely gorgeous ❤
I absolutely adore your videos, and as a longtime Hozier fan your analyses of his songs are some of the best I’ve seen. If I can make one suggestion though, the background music in this video is a little loud and makes it hard to pay attention. That being said, this was an incredible video and I can’t wait to see more from you in the future ❤
Fascinating analysis of this song that I've been absolutely LIVING since it came out. Like, if I could climb inside it and never come out again, I 100% Would. The vibe, that bass guitar in the chorus that you so aptly described wishing to chew on, the whole thing is just perfection and I want to completely lose myself in it whenever I hear it (which has been a lot, it's been on repeat and let me tell you, hearing it again after having been on vacation for two weeks and being away from my music - it was like coming home to an old friend. Pretty near a spiritual experience, it really was). I don't see myself ever getting tired of this song - or any other musical masterpiece by Hozier, for that matter...
9:46 I love your analysis of this whole song and I’m glad it’s not just me who thinks it’s instrumentally sexy😂 I also think in this part of the song he’s saying that he’s okay with not having a definition of where they stand in a relationship with each other, he recognises she’s got darkness about her (potentially as a result of past traumas or situations) but it’s not something that he’ll let push him away and he’s felt connected to her in way that soulmates do, like he believes his soul knew hers before having seen her and even in the darkness he’d know her even without physically seeing her
Just to let you know that I appreciate deeply all the time you invest in videos about Hozier's songs because it really makes me love them even more! This was a lovely and relaxing video as well, with the atmosphere and all, well done!
evry time a new song is out, I just wait for your explanation. Hozier is such an elevated being that I forget how to think. Thanks fot thinking so i dont have to do it.
Definitely feel the whole theme of letting yourself fall out of control for someone, but I also got this sense of like wanting to stay in a particular moment. Stop the dawn from coming to make the night everlasting where the vastness of this love extends endlessly. Or maybe the person is a vampire idk xD Absolutely enjoyed the vid and I am so stoked for the album drop. Looking forward to the next vid!
I just found your youtube channel and love your breakdowns of Hozier’s music!! He’s one of my favorite artists of all time, and love finding others who also love him 💛
7:45 OMG I agree 100%! I wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way whilst listening to the chorus haha. Whenever I listen to it I feel like its eating me from the inside and I feel a wave of pleasure flowing through me, gosh, i love how Hozier just puts such intellectual, deep and symbolic lyrics into a sensual musical masterpiece.
You look magical in this video. I also admire your input in "the darkness" and how its apart of being too! Something sexy about it, accepting it and expressing it in healthy ways! Feels like you're speaking to me wow. Also awesome vid, I'm super stoked for the album :,)
Lovely video Honor! I love Hozier’s work so much but as an aspiring writer it pains me to listen to his music, I get so jealous of his writing LOL. He’s just brilliant.
You did it again too! Each time I think he reached his peak level as a writer, he does things like this and I gotta say I agree this chorus is so... Chef's kiss. I'd say this one is my favourite so far and I've had a hard time picking one since all of them seem to touch a topic that I feel so argumentative about, but this one... It's like a thunder in the middle of a field, which can sound terrifying but it's a very peaceful experience for me. On a side note, ma'am, you always look stunning but THE LIPSTICK, MY GOD.And I said it before but I'm saying it again: it has become a pleasure of mine, an exciting experience to my brain to know there's a new release from Hozier, knowing there'll be an analysis from you. Thank you so much for your work. 🤍
It's just wonderful the elegant mix of literary reference, sexy... Sultry vibe and thought proving lyric that Andrew provides us with in each new morsel from this upcoming album. Leading with DeSelby seems to be a nod towards the current trend of denial of "light" or knowledge and an acceptance of the darkness in all of us (in the tendency to rely on fear and impulse to lead us forward).
I personally thought that it was about willful ignorance. He wants to stay in the dark because in the light there's so much he doesn't want to see. But, you can't stop the sun from rising and you can't deny the truth forever.
I agree, and I'm so glad you did this one, cause I didn't have a lot of that context, even though this is now one my favorites, and I agree also that it's gonna have a much bigger impact and context with part 1. Thank you for this. But also, on a cheeky crude note, I saw verse 2 as a bit of a "thinking of you when I'm alone" kind of way, I'm sure I'm not alone, which goes well with his slutty romantic vibe, haha.
I love being this early to the video but need to come back later when the rest of this intelligent community comes in with their discussions because this comment section is always so interesting
Hi! I just found your video and I am obsessed! When you were talking about the gradients it reminded me of sunsets and all the gradients in the sky and as time goes by they become darker and darker. But sometimes we don't even realise how it gets that dark like you don't even register it fully (not knowing the beginning or the end). And also connecting this to Hozier talking about the lover coming as a nightfall and coming at nightfall and their metamorphosis OOF
love this channel. I feel like I'm starting to get a reading list just for Hozier's album alone. Keep up the good work. I agree that the bass line is smexy af
So insightful! Thank you for your thoughts; I loved hearing your perspective on how the titular character reference sets the stage for the story of Hozier's journey through a relationship and how it compares to Dante's journey as well.
I just wanna say how amazing the vibes of this video are, especially with the background music, it feels like a cozy little space of musical analysis, very well done (subscribing now)
I listened to this song so many times the day it came out. It is perfection and I do feel like I'm going to throw up. Thank you for the support Honor!! 🩶
I absolutely love your commentary, I found your channel just recently after hearing hosier’s Francesca. Thanks for the insights on this beautiful poetry . Just a heads up.. the background music is a little loud and distracts from what you’re saying at times.
I enjoyed all of your videos about Hozier's new album so far but this one is my favourite. I felt like we were friends analysing this song and having the same reactions at the same time!
i always love to see your videos, specially the hozier ones. they are very insightful and have peaked my interest in topics i never would've thought I'd find interesting ! it's nice to see discussions about music & an artist that i love so much (as if my hozier lyric tattoo wasn't enough to prove that, lol)
Thank you for delving into this! I initially thought they were just some basic pop lyrics and was really confused as to why he would take that route, but at the same time struggled to understand some of the lines. Really engaging the way you branch off into the related texts too!
Just to say i am on the midst of moving cities alone, with a van of belongings and a long drive with a lots to think about. This video came as a sedative and stimulant as a perfectly formed escape for my hozier-inclined soul and created a feeling of ecstatic calm. Thank you
I've felt that some of the best songwriting -perfect blends of instrumentation and lyrics - have come from the other side of the Atlantic in my experience. I appreciate how these musicians continue to dig down and create these layered and genuine albums - it enhances my experience as a listener. Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting in these videos. (I mean, I still like a good mindless bop once in a while...)
Loved this!!! The first lines of the chorus also made me think of (this sounds silly) Superman? Like the Christopher Reed era especially, with running ✨against ✨the world that’s turning so fast, it felt like turning back time to a simpler more familiar point and leaning into that absurdist, beyond physics happenings of the world. He’d move the world and defy science for the love he has. King
Thinking about that throughline of how the "meeting" is at the beginning and how the "unknowing" is toward the end.. I am listening again through the album in order and it is very clearly detailing to me (in addition to the reflection of a person through the awakening to the struggles of life and humanity through the course of what we are living through) is the progression of someone through the depths of a deep relationship through to its end and new beginnings and ends. The only song I can't very clearly place in this narrative of a romantic relationship, necessarily is Butchered Tongue.. But that song for me calls back to Foreigner's God where I feel he is touching on the separation felt through living in a colonized world, and how "she feels no safety in my arms", recounting the violent colonization of Ireland in Butchered Tongue maybe has some metaphorical reflection of the pains of the relationship, but I'm not seeing it clearly yet. It feels to me like he is walking us through the ways in which a relationship that just can't fit and so it begins and ends and feels so much like it's meant to be but never is, and breaks your heart repeatedly, is much like the circles of hell in Dante's Inferno.. It also reminds me of the interview with him about the album where he nearly starts to tear up accounting the deep sense of pain and loss in the album that he can't bear to discuss and also for the privacy of others. I relate so much to all of it.
I was waiting for you to upload a video about this song! The song in itself SHOOK me to my core. I've been listening to it on repeat. Again thanks about these thoughtful and insightful videos and btw you look so chic today!
The Third Policeman is next on TBR so I'm excited to learn about De Selby and how the themes of his character reflect the themes of this song. Love the video and great analysis as always!
Honor does it again 😩❤️, thank you, once again, for your delightfully intellectual and eloquent perspective. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the album!
Absolutely love your channel, and analysis of Hozier songs. So detailed and well thought out.❤👏 *This does not matter in the scheme of things, just to let you know Dalkey is pronounced Daw-key. Small seaside town in Dublin. Brian O'Nolan's favourite spot when he lived in Dublin 4.
I LOVE your videos ❣️ so grateful to have joined this lovely community. After Andrew realeases a song I immediately think of you. Lots of love from Argentina 🇦🇷
So happy to have found your channel off of r/Hozier. Absolutely love your videos and deep dives on music. Wishing you all the success in the world as your channel grows.
Not trying to correct you but those dark rythmic guitar notes you hear on Deselby 2 are not played alone on the bass by Alex, but rather mainly on the wonderful Epiphone baritone guitar that Andrew plays on most of my favourite tracks.
‘Darlin it gets heavy sometimes without you’ - this is Hozier referring to Newton’s longing for the innocence of a time before he understood the law of gravity Jokes 😝 Enjoyed the vid, nice handwriting!
When u mention the fire on the horizon I also think of the end of fhirinhit 451 no spoilers but if u haven't read it highly recommended very short book but the ending was the best of any Ive ever experienced.❤❤❤❤ btw literally sqweel with glee when this video popped up on my feed. ❤❤❤
Of course he’s read Neruda, fuck me. If you speak Spanish but never read Neruda I highly recommend you do. He’s the poet of the people and the poet of women after all. I can’t speak for his translated work, but I’m sure they get the idea across well enough, some things always get lost in translation
I'm so excited for your thoughts on the new album :) also I just watched "hozier reacts to Dante's "Inferno"" posted by DIFFUS, just wanted to share and thought you might like it
Yes I will absolutely be analysing the album!! Not too sure as to when they'll be out just yet as I really want to make sure they're as in-depth as possible x (listened to the album last night and SOBBED)
Oh I will absolutely be covering the album! I’m still debating but I was thinking of doing each song individually but release them all at the same time in a playlist that includes the songs I’ve already covered, just so people don’t have to skip through content they’ve already heard me talking about 😊
Love the video and your passion - I would say you could have turned down the background music, it made it very hard to focus for me (I haven‘t had this issue in other videos of yours though)
great breakdown!! the minute i heard this song, i knew it was going to be an all-time fave. btw, do you listen to arctic monkeys? idk i feel like listening to you break down their lyrics and references would be super cool, but of course only if you like their music!! thanks and have a great day
Love hearing you talk about Hozier but honestly the background music drowned out your voice a lot of the time & it was hard to focus on your voice. Would be better with no background music or have it very very quiet so it’s easier to focus on what you’re saying. Love your breakdowns of Hoziers songs.
Oh I definitely agree! For some reason the mix sounded different on the editing software than it does on the final export 😕 Will definitely check closer next time!
If someone resells tickets for Hozier in Montréal...
Pinning for maximum exposure! Good luck!
Not reselling, but I'm going to be there ;)
@@honorluca owwww thank you🥺 your videos are amazing!
I bought 3 tickets, and I don’t know yet if I’m going with one or 2 other people, but if I have a spare ticket i can come back to this comment and ping you (I’m not a scalper, I’d resell for the same price I got it for)

Describing Hozier's music as a "desire for catharsis" is so well said❤
Thank ya! ❤️
"Hozier's does it again" girl YOU'VE done it again. I've never seen someone so artfully and thoughtfully breakdown pieces like this. Amazing
Oh thank you! That's so so kind!

Oh I would have KILLED to see Hozier that early on in his career!
I saw Hozier live last week and it was a spiritual experience, De Selby pt 1 and 2 is also amazing live

Oh I'm so jealous! ✨manifesting an australian tour✨
I’m so jealous. I’m in Africa and I’m not even dreaming about it. Seeing him is going to take a miracle

Oof! I LOVE that! Thank you for the extra context!! 🥰
Brittany, can you elaborate about Nyx. That is another song in the upcoming album.
I felt that in De Selby part 1 is actually a search for the "True self" in dichotomous opposition to the concept of "personality", or if not personality, either ways the way other people look at us or the way we think people look at us, call it as you want. That’s beautiful!
Going to listen to Unreal Unearth tonight and check out all your content afterwards. Looking forward to it
You’re style of editing and your speaking voice in your videos is just MWAH. Thank you for your thoughtful analysis once again ❤️🫡
Thank you!! Here for your service ma'am x
love this channel. I feel like I'm starting to get a reading list just for Hozier's album alone. Keep up the good work. I agree that the bass line is smexy af
Thank you thank you!! x
Love the cozy vibe!
Thank you thank you! Xx
Man, Francesca already has me in a choke hold. I'm not ready (yes I am) for the rest of the album!
MOOD!
So insightful! Thank you for your thoughts; I loved hearing your perspective on how the titular character reference sets the stage for the story of Hozier's journey through a relationship and how it compares to Dante's journey as well.
You are so welcome, lovely! Thank you for watching 🥰
your miiiiind! 😍 this is my favourite song so far, thank you for this video
You're very welcome, my dear! x
Unrelated, but your makeup is gorgeous.
Oh thank you so much! 🥰
I just wanna say how amazing the vibes of this video are, especially with the background music, it feels like a cozy little space of musical analysis, very well done (subscribing now)
Thank you so much! Welcome to the gang!! 🥰
I listened to this song so many times the day it came out. It is perfection and I do feel like I'm going to throw up. Thank you for the support Honor!! 🩶
Haha you’re very welcome! ❤️
YEEESSSSS!!!!!! Thank you for gracing us with this analysis
Why is his philosophy so sexy
The SEXIEST philosopher of our time! 🔥
I absolutely love your commentary, I found your channel just recently after hearing hosier’s Francesca. Thanks for the insights on this beautiful poetry . Just a heads up.. the background music is a little loud and distracts from what you’re saying at times.
Oh my god, I love the Rebecca reference.
Yayy!! I'm so glad it landed well haha
I enjoyed all of your videos about Hozier's new album so far but this one is my favourite. I felt like we were friends analysing this song and having the same reactions at the same time!
Aw thank you so much! I have to say, I also think this is one of my favourite so far too!
I love that you wove into Rebecca! With every release of Hozier's i look forward for your videos!!!
Aw thank you so much!! I really appreciate it ❤️
i always love to see your videos, specially the hozier ones. they are very insightful and have peaked my interest in topics i never would've thought I'd find interesting ! it's nice to see discussions about music & an artist that i love so much (as if my hozier lyric tattoo wasn't enough to prove that, lol)
Thank you for delving into this! I initially thought they were just some basic pop lyrics and was really confused as to why he would take that route, but at the same time struggled to understand some of the lines. Really engaging the way you branch off into the related texts too!
You are very welcome! Glad it was helpful 🥰
Just to say i am on the midst of moving cities alone, with a van of belongings and a long drive with a lots to think about. This video came as a sedative and stimulant as a perfectly formed escape for my hozier-inclined soul and created a feeling of ecstatic calm. Thank you
So glad I could keep you company, Sabeera! ❤️ Sending you all my best for the move! x
Couldn't agree more! (but also totally love a mindless bop too!) xx
King
Oh I LOVE this idea! Bravo!
Love these videos so much! Can't wait for your thoughts when the whole album drops!
Thank you so much! I really can’t wait to get stuck into it 😄
I watched your Hozier rabbit hole video a few weeks ago and have been waaaaiting for you to do a video on De Selby. So excited!!
Aw yay!!! Glad to have you here, lovely x
I was waiting for you to upload a video about this song! The song in itself SHOOK me to my core. I've been listening to it on repeat.
Again thanks about these thoughtful and insightful videos and btw you look so chic today!
So glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for the kind words! Xx
The Third Policeman is next on TBR so I'm excited to learn about De Selby and how the themes of his character reflect the themes of this song. Love the video and great analysis as always!
Thank you thank you! Always great to see you!!
Your analysis are always so brilliant. Love your content.
Thank you so much! 🥰x
you're very nice! i genuinely enjoyed watching a couple of your videos. don't let the slumps discourage you, you're very much doing your thing
Thank you so much!!
Honor does it again 😩❤️, thank you, once again, for your delightfully intellectual and eloquent perspective. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the album!
Thank you so much xx
Wonderful analysis as always! I look forward to watching your take on the entire album.
Thank you for the work you put into making this.
💜
Thank you, lovely! Xx
Absolutely love your channel, and analysis of Hozier songs. So detailed and well thought out.❤👏
*This does not matter in the scheme of things, just to let you know Dalkey is pronounced Daw-key. Small seaside town in Dublin. Brian O'Nolan's favourite spot when he lived in Dublin 4.
Thank you so much, lovely! And thanks for the pronunciation clarification!! ❤️
Can you enable captions? I’m hard of hearing and I can’t follow without them. ❤ thanks!
Hey! I'm so sorry, I didn't realise they weren't on! I think I've fixed it now but let me know if you still can't access them ❤️
Oh man!! I really love this Fandom ❤
Amen!
I really love the setup.
Thank you thank you! Thought I’d change it up a bit
Could you please analyze the song 'Run'? Please please please! ❤
Thanks for another lovely video!!
actually this video convinced me to buy hozier tickets lmao
Oh my gosh, have the BEST time seeing him live! Still crossing my fingers he'll come to Australia 🤞
I LOVE your videos ❣️ so grateful to have joined this lovely community. After Andrew realeases a song I immediately think of you. Lots of love from Argentina 🇦🇷
Oh I'm so glad to have you here!! ❤️ Sending lots of love straight back to you from Australia xx
So happy to have found your channel off of r/Hozier. Absolutely love your videos and deep dives on music. Wishing you all the success in the world as your channel grows.
Thank you!! So glad to have you here!!
I have to know where you get and or find the background music for the vids because I am loving the Jazz here
It's all from Epidemic Sound! :)
Not trying to correct you but those dark rythmic guitar notes you hear on Deselby 2 are not played alone on the bass by Alex, but rather mainly on the wonderful Epiphone baritone guitar that Andrew plays on most of my favourite tracks.
Ahhh that makes sense! Thanks so much for sharing! ☺️
Honor, an amazing video as always!!! (Please, we need a Rebecca video, your reference blew my mind).
Ooo I will definitely add a Rebecca video to my list of vids to record!! Could talk forever about that book!
@@honorluca yay!!!!
Sorry for going waaaayy off topic here but I absolutely adore your lipstick. Would you be able to share which one it is? Thank you!
Thank you! It's the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in 117 Ground-Breaker ❤️
Thank you for this! I clicked for the Hozier analysis but was also interested in the lipstick. It looks great!
‘Darlin it gets heavy sometimes without you’ - this is Hozier referring to Newton’s longing for the innocence of a time before he understood the law of gravity
Jokes 😝
Enjoyed the vid, nice handwriting!
Winning comment! 😂 P.S. just checked out your music and you, sir, have gained a new fan ❤️
I recently found your channel and I'm obsessed, I would adore to hear your thoughts on the whole album when it drops!
Oh don’t worry, I won’t be shutting up about the album once it’s out! Haha
You tore it up and put it back together again 😮😅❤
This is one of the best compliments ever haha! Thank you!! Xxx
@@honorluca I’m just in awe of the catalog of literature you have stored on that noggin! I would have never made these connections!
When u mention the fire on the horizon I also think of the end of fhirinhit 451 no spoilers but if u haven't read it highly recommended very short book but the ending was the best of any Ive ever experienced.❤❤❤❤ btw literally sqweel with glee when this video popped up on my feed. ❤❤❤
Always good to see you Nova!!! Ooo that book's been on my TBR list for AGES so I'm definitely gonna have to move it forward!
love your videos!!
Thank you thank you!! x
Of course he’s read Neruda, fuck me. If you speak Spanish but never read Neruda I highly recommend you do. He’s the poet of the people and the poet of women after all. I can’t speak for his translated work, but I’m sure they get the idea across well enough, some things always get lost in translation
I'm so excited for your thoughts on the new album :) also I just watched "hozier reacts to Dante's "Inferno"" posted by DIFFUS, just wanted to share and thought you might like it
Ooo I'm gonna check that out IMMEDIATELY!
Hi honor, I am curious to know what you think of the whole album now that it’s out and are you going to do some analysis videos soon?
Yes I will absolutely be analysing the album!! Not too sure as to when they'll be out just yet as I really want to make sure they're as in-depth as possible x (listened to the album last night and SOBBED)
@@honorluca great, thank you! Your analysis is always the best. I sobbed too, I can’t imagine who would break his heart like that!
When the album release are you going to make a video? and if, are you going to make a video about each song individually, or the album as a whole?
Oh I will absolutely be covering the album! I’m still debating but I was thinking of doing each song individually but release them all at the same time in a playlist that includes the songs I’ve already covered, just so people don’t have to skip through content they’ve already heard me talking about 😊
@@honorluca I can’t wait ❤️
off topic: is that Amy Winehouse in the back on the picture frame? (btw, i adore Hozier)
Indeed it is! If you scroll a few posts back on my community tab, there’s a close up look at the artwork!
@@honorluca it is beautiful ♡ I adore both of them and they really do impact my writing
Honor does it again 👀
Ah stop it 🥰
Love the video and your passion - I would say you could have turned down the background music, it made it very hard to focus for me (I haven‘t had this issue in other videos of yours though)
Yep I definitely didn't get the levels right for this vid haha. Lesson learned!
Thanks Honor for yet another amazing video.
great breakdown!! the minute i heard this song, i knew it was going to be an all-time fave.
btw, do you listen to arctic monkeys? idk i feel like listening to you break down their lyrics and references would be super cool, but of course only if you like their music!!
thanks and have a great day
Oh, I LIVE AND BREATHE Arctic Monkeys! I'm adding that to my list of upcoming videos IMMEDIATELY! Have a great day too, lovely!!
