Ricardo Montalbán is a legend, its such a surprise to see him in such a modest grave in the back of the park. Star Trek, Fantasy Island, Planet of the Apes, Spy Kids, Kim Possible, the man did it all! Talk about range!

I love richardo, I own his outfit from spykids 3. It's was the last outfit he wore on a film. While not the most popular, it's still worn by him. I'll never sell it. Hats off to you R.M.

Found these a couple of days ago. Wasn't sure what to make of it before viewing but once I watched, found them to be excellent. Frankly looked forward to the next segment as each ended. These videos are informative, classy and (I feel) respectful of the famous individuals and their legacies. Since viewing Hollywood Graveyard I have seen others like it (and some do a pretty good job), but this guy is the best by far. Well done!! I encourage more of these brief but very interesting tours. Thanks!!

I still watch the re-runs of The Lawrence Welk Show!!! Welk and O'Connell were Giants of The Big Band Era!!! I'm so glad that you always remember those of that Era...like you did with Paul Tanner, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw...Etc...That's the reason I became a member of this channel...Thank You!!!

Arthur, you are the best! I've seen other grave tours on UA-cam, but you have something extra special. Your delivery, your knowledge and your great voice! All I need to round out this great experience is my wingback chair, a pipe, my slippers, some Hennessy and I'm home.
I remember Rosalind Russell in 'Auntie Mame', one of my favorite movies, which she did in 1958. These wonderful Stars all imprinted on our lives in such amazing ways that they will never be forgotten.

Izit Over: Your eloquence is greatly appreciated. Indeed, Mr. Dark has something special. I guess it is called "talent." His ability for deep and nuanced portraits of celebrities caught in the complexities of their times is particularly appealing. Undoubtedly, his videos have become a main commodity along with whatever brings comfort to the viewers.

It is quite sad and utterly amazing how many incredibly talented and forgotten people that impacted and graced our screens, our stages and our lives. The actors from The Wizard of Oz for example which i watched several times as a child, we just never stop to think that these people are only human and will one day be gone. Then you watch this channel, and wow, it hits you, takes you back some years. Brilliant please keep it up 😊

Ok, so last time I wrote about Joe Hamilton, the youngest producer in television during the 1950s with The Garry Moore Show.
Hamilton was only 29 at the time...Later, the man married Carol Burnett and he was the producer of her show. Hamilton wrote the familiar theme to the show which Carol sang at the end of every broadcast tugging her ear so that her grandmother would know it was time for bed. Hamilton was missed part 2 where you visited the Great Masoleum...Now I wish to acknowledge character actor Edgar Kennedy. Interred at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, California, USA, Section D, Sacred Heart, Grave 7, Lot 193. This man was a great actor who appeared in such movie greats as "Duck Soup" (1933), "Tillie's Fractured Romance" (1914) with Charlie Chaplin. The man was hired by Mack Sennet and he played bit parts before leaving and being hired by Hal Roach...Kennedy was in a couple of Laurel and Hardy films. "From Soup to Nuts" (1928) and "You're Darned Tootin'" (1928). Edgar also starred in 4 Our Gang comedies "Shivering Shakespeare," "Moan & Groan, Inc. ," "The First Seven Years" and, my favorite "When the Wind Blows."

Your videos are by far the best of their kind and I hope someday when you have toured all the cemeteries on your list that there are further parts on the larger cemeteries there are so many stars to visit. Is there any chance that one day you can do a special on wrestlers who have passed away. I cannot imagine how long it might take to tour on foot another sterling job thank you. The history that you cover and the respect you show is worthy of greatness. Splendid!

Superb and respectful. As an actor and a teacher myself I learn so much from these clips. Professional and entertaining. Keep it up 😀 p.s I know this might sound weird but would it possible (when you can) to indicate through a symbol if the graves contain a cremated burial or a whole coffin burial? It's always something that intrigues me when I watch your clips 😀

Your videos are amazingly well done and especially your research, the original film poster art and video clip which help to give us an Idea of who these people were are an added plus. P.S. The Germs did a song called "the lions share" which was on the sound track of the film Cruising which came out in 1980 the year the lead singer killed himself and Evelyn Nesbit story is also featured in the film Ragtime.

I have enjoyed all these segments of celebrities final resting place. It's intriguing remembrance of those who once entertained us. I live in Akron, Ohio and I will schedule a visit to L.A. so I can take a few days to go to the cemetery and admire them for the achievements of their work to pay my respect for the legacy they left behind. When I was little my first job was at age 14 in a movie theatre in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I usually stood at the door and collected tickets. In 1977 we had the Dino Delaurentiis's King Kong with Jessica Lange. One Saturday night we were sold out for the last show at 8pm and I was told to close the door and not to let anyone in since there were no seats available. A young mother and her 5 year old daughter approached the door wanting to come in, I told them that I was sorry but they couldn't come in we were sold out. The young mother begged me that they would sit on the floor since used public transportation from another town. I repeated that I was sorry but I couldn't let them sit on the floor due theatre policies to please come back the next day. She replied that she was out of money to pay another taxi to bring them back. They turned around and started walking away, the little girl was crying wanting to see King Kong, that really broke my heart, as they walked away I had an idea and I yelled for them to come back, they immediately came back. I told them to wait a minute, that I wasn't promising anything but to wait a minute. I locked the door and I ran up to the projection room and I asked Ralph the protectionist if I could use his guests seats in the projection room. Ralph didn't hesitate and said yes. I came back down stairs and notified the young mother and her little girl that I have two seats for them. I could never forget those happy faces. They couldn't thank me enough. I also let them in for free. When the film started I saw this beautiful name across the screen Dino Delaurentiis Presents. And most of the movies we featured at the Rivoli theatre had his name on it. I thought that Dino Delaurentiis owned Hollywood. After my services with the U.S. Navy in 1985 I had a job as a chef for Dino Delaurentiis Entertainment Group in Wilmington, NC. And I got to meet Mr Delaurentiis in person, one day I even told him about the young mother and her daughter in Puerto Rico. Mr Delaurentiis is a great example of hard work, Oscar winner for La Strata in 1952 and has a library of over 500 movies, a real Hollywood legend. Mr Delaurentiis passed away at age 91 in November 10,2010. He was cremated and his ashes rest at Cemeterio Communale di Torre Anunnciatta, Italy.

I see you are already channeling George Romero with your very short film "Spooky Trees." Very original and artistic. Perhaps you should have named it "Zombie Trees" in homage to Mr. Romero. Your selection and presentation of the celebrities, meaningful and educational research, and pleasant persona is always appreciated and has now become the standard of quality by which all others must strive to achieve. Now, onward to Hillside Memorial Cemetery. I can't wait to see your presentation of Al Jolson's final resting place.

Amazing videos! Are you gonna do a 4th tour of Holy Cross? You missed the grave of one of my favorite actors, the Austrian born Reggie Nalder, who played the vampire in Tobe Hooper's Salem's Lot, his grave is right in front of the entrance in section D.

Watch out for SPOOKY TREES! ! For real- if trees could talk what history we could learn. You're always so respectful of people's graves & have a very nice voice. Thanks. ♡

As with others here, I too look forward to your videos. And also, I like the fact you treat those who have died with dignity and respect. That's also why I'm a huge fan.
