DRIFT DRUMS - 20" Modified Sabian Jazz Crash Ride 1885gr

This 20" crash ride, at a weight of 1885 grams, is a modified Sabian AA Ride. We basically wanted to see the difference in outcome between an Zildjian Avedis and a Sabian after hammering and relathing the cymbals. It's fun to see they both really have a different outcome. The Sabian is a little less outspoken, and therefor probably more versatile in usage than the Avedis cymbals we did. It's pretty clean but, due to the hammering, a bit of complexity in it, without being too dominant.
The cymbal can be used either as a light jazz ride or as a big crash.
