    I remember my grandma making this type of jelly..She would tell me never eat rine,it will give ya the runs.. But I did like the jelly...thank you for showing us all... Plus reminding me of memories....😊

    I remember my nana making this when I was a child. It was one of my father's favorites. She also used to make pickled watermelon rind and spiced cantaloupe. Nothing ever went to waste. Thanks for the memories. I will have to try making this.

    As soon as you said watermelon rind, I was taken back to when I was little { and this goes back as ways}. My aunts and grandma were in the kitchen making watermelon rind pickles, jelly and chow chow. Great memory.

    Love this jelly. Great video. I remember my grandmother making this . It didn’t last long. We ate it a lot on homemade bread. Yummy.

    We make our jams and jellies in half pint jars also.for the exact reason you mentioned. Got a watermelon cooling in the fridge right now and now I know what to do with the rind. I say this every time, but my goodness I love your windows!

    It was great seeing again Sir! I have never heard of this jelly before but will definitely try it. I have not forgotten one of your videos where you talk about what makes you a homesteader. I currently don’t have a homestead…yet but one day my husband and I will. In the meantime, I have been canning and preserving. We grow our own food every year for the past 20+ years. We even have our own little food forest and a mini vineyard in our suburban home. I never thought to consider myself a homesteader. With all honesty, I didn’t think I would qualify to be one until that video. I was touched, it made me very happy because I always wanted to be one. Thank you 😊. Have a wonderful day!!

    My mom had just mentioned this kind of jam to me today as well as pickles made with watermelon rind. I had never heard of it but she said her grandmother made both all of the time. So I need to make some for her and bring back a childhood memory for her. Thank you for this recipe.

    I have been wanting to make this. I love how easy it really seems to be. There are steps, but not many. I love that you state that you read the recipe each time. I worry about my own mem0ry more than anything....LOL Thank you for being very detailed on this process.     I wanted to try watermelon rind pickles this year, bought my melon, virtually no rind also! I enjoyed the melon but couldn't help being a little disappointed. Gonna have to try again!
