That is some beautiful jelly. I love watermelon, I think I should be saving my juice. TFS 🥰👍
That makes such a pretty jelly, and a great way to bring back that yummy taste of summer. Hope your Fourth of July went well. Now let the canning begin. We just got about a bushel of green beans to work on today, so we should get that done early this morning. Have a great day!
Enjoy putting up the green beans!
Trying this now! I’m using the low sugar pectin so we’ll see how she does.
Yummy Watermelon Jelly. Thanks for the tip on the frozen plate to determine if Jelly is set.❤
You are so welcome!
Never had watermelon jelly. Sounds delicious.
Beautiful!! I've never made watermelon jelly before but it sure is pretty. Blessings to you and your family ❤
Funny you put this up, my grandson just ask me yesterday when I was going to make some more watermelon jelly.
It's delicious!
Perfect timing on this video! Everybody is gonna have watermelon left over from the 4th of July! I’m gonna give this shot today but I’m gonna use Pomona’s pectin. Wish me luck 🤞🏻
You made good use of the whole watermelon. The jelly is so pretty.
It's a lovely color!
That sounds delicious, Thanks for sharing, you make it look so easy!!!
Yum that sounds delicious 😋
😅😅 I put 3-4 plates in the freezer. I always seem to need to boil longer even though I meticulously follow the directions!
It's probably smart to have back up plates. Never done that!
doing this with watermelon berries......
We made watermelon jelly last year. We enjoyed it but it tasted like cucumber to me. I would love to know if yours tasted similar. I’m trying to figure out if I did something wrong. Thanks for a great video!
That's interesting. Our definitely tastes like a very sweet watermelon, no cucumber-y-ness to it at all. Maybe the watermelon wasn't ripe enough?
@@TealHouseFarm Thank you for letting me know. I’ll have to give it another try. Ill make sure the watermelon is extra ripe this go around,
Will the yellow melon work just as well ??? So if I'm make a single batch of low sugar I would use 4c or2 cups of juice and 4 cups of sugar and low/sugar pectin Waiting on your reply thank you
I’m not sure about the yellow melon, I’m not sure if the sugar content is different! It would be 4 cups juice, 4 cups sugar and the low sugar pectin.
