Glad you had a video in Canuary I don’t think I would have found you other wise. Thanks for sharing the soup recipe
Oh we are so excited to dig into your videos. You and Heather are so down to earth and fun!
I subscribed because you seem like a knowledgable, friendly, and humble guy. Just now made the stew. Didn’t have curry, but it still turned out really delicious. A winner!
Congratulations on 8000 subscribers!! 🎊🎈🎉
Fat is good on keto! Love your kitchen with all the work area. Congrats on reaching over 8K - keep it up!
Great video. Love almost any kind of soups. Great comfort food.
From Georgia. Rarely snow here I watch northern channels for ideas and things to cook! But still so interested in how you deal with cold and snow and daily life with dealing with cold! Ready here to plant potatoes. Carrots. Sweet peas. It’s just so different. Stilson GA was 76 degrees today. Keep posting!
The other white meat, pork! It's what's for dinner... soups - butternut squash, lentil, chic noodle, pho, mulligan stew, escarole and beans, way to many to list...Love the tshirt.. and I can hear the 🎵 🎵🎵🎵 and you are being video bombed by the birds on your deck..✌️✌️✌️
Congratulations on 8k!
Cabbage. That's what I like with pork. Roasted a little first, then chopped up. Keep up the good work!
That looks amazing! I love that your ingredients are from your garden. My favorite is chicken tortilla soup, yum! 😘
Great video..people find soups to be overwhelming. Make your own!
I was making a chicken soup today, only I did not have any ugly chicken on the shelf! Sooo I used a jar of pork I canned. It was yummy.
Love it! I might have to do a pork roast this weekend.
Missed your videos last year. I wasn’t sure if you were going to continue you tube. Glad you are back. It’s a nice change to see a man cooking, canning and preserving. I wouldn’t miss one of your videos. Keep it up.
That is absolutely right up my alley just use what you have and turn it into something delicious good job Thank you so much for sharing
I love chicken and dumpling. I also add a cup of carrots.
Looks delicious 😀 I love your kitchen windows!
Congrats on all the subs...soup sounds great!
Awesome
And carrots. I am starting ham and bean soup. That way it can simmer all day. 😋
The best soups and stews are the ones you just create..taste as you go!!!
Great Video going to try with Smoked Pork
Looking good!
Looks amazing
Nothing smells better than onions cooking - in bacon drippings!!!!👍😁👍
So enjoy your videos. You two are so down to earth. Don't always comment because I am often watching on the TV - but I'm here watching and hitting the like button!!!
Sending Blessings and y'all stay warm...sending you sunshine from Sunny Florida!!
Love your channel
Looks sooooo good!
We’ll be here, whenever you are.
That’s how I roll, creating soups with what I got on hand. My favorite soup is made from the leftover brothe from Butter Beef Roast. I just add a jar of Ball’s Vegetable soup base and some pasta or beans.
Butter beef roast sounds interesting
@@pikecreekfarm I will do a video on it sometime here… it’s a Chuck roast slow cooked in mild pepper rings and the pickling juice and ranch and Italian dressing salad mix and a stick of butter (or less) then serve over mashed potato or cauliflower or egg noodles!
You have inspired me to use up those leftovers
I make the same.soup down to the riced cauliflower. Sometimes i use chicken some times i add carrots. Super fresh and tasty. Great minds.
❣️🎉🎆
Thank you so much! Needed a soup for my left over pork
Here’s my favourite thing to do to a pork roast. Picnic or shoulder roast. Put in a casserole dish with diced onion and some Italian seasoning. Don’t add water to the dish. No salt at this point. When it’s 1/2 cooked put sauerkraut in the pot, Undrained. Regular sauerkraut, not wine sauerkraut. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes.
Something you can do with your garlic that I did for the first time this year is to ferment it in honey. All you need to do is crush it to peel it, cut the big cloves in half, put it in a jar, cover with honey, stick it in a darker place, check on it every few days to make sure the garlic is below the honey, and after two months you can take a spoonful daily to stay healthy, but if you get sick you can take a spoonful every couple of hours. I wasn’t sure about it when I started it but I saw a lot of homesteaders swearing by it. I made some two months ago. Last week I had a double ear infection starting. I took a spoonful every couple of hours and the next day I was dramatically better! Not fully healed, but I was at about 75%. Which is pretty awesome for me! Anyway, this food looks great! Glad to see you posting again! Enjoy! 💙💙💙
Recipe looks great. I personally don't like the music playing because I like to hear what youtubers are saying.
Going to create a throw together minestrone soup today. Have just enough left over roast beef with gravy, gonna add some veggies that need used, add a can of beans and a little ditalani pasta. The best soups are just winging it! ALWAYS!
I've got 2 gallons of dehydrated onions on the shelf. I use them a whole lot when onions are expensive. When I find seconds of onions at a farmers market for dirt cheap, I buy them up, take off the damaged layer and dehydrate them! Gotta be frugal like that these days!
I pretty much love any kind of soup and leftover soup is the best. So looking forward to seeing more of you and Heather
Great video! We purposely cook larger cuts so we have leftovers for 2 or 3 days. One of our favorite stews is leftover pork roast, lots of onions, celery, and garlic, and chunked butternut squash. And we serve it over brown rice. Delicious!
Refrigerator stew is the best. I really enjoy many soups and stews when it is cold out. They are very comforting. I like the cast aluminum pots. I just looked these up after watching "Cooking with Donna". I use to have some many years ago.
Congrats on reaching 8K. 10K is just around the corner! Your soup looks delicious. You cook like I do! Add some crusty bread or toast on the side and it's perfect. The cream cheese is a genius idea, too!
Perfect timing! I just made pork roast last night. My favorite soups are my chicken soup, split pea, cabbage soup (day before yesterday's dinner), and several types of Korean soups & stews.
That soup looks like that might be really good. I am not familiar with red curry was that a it looked like a powder I have seen red curry paste is that the same? Is this a hot like spice or just the warm flavors? Love seeing you cook with your heart I think some of the rest best recipes come up that way.
👌😁
What is that ? Herbs of Providence? Thank you…😊

Stealing your recipe, since my elder care client tosses more food than she should. I can pressure can while serving her some for supper.
