Repetitive DPF Faults After 3 Regens At Renault??

Here I highlight why a diesel particulate filter regen doesn't fix the issue with a blocked DPF unless you have fixed the cause if the blockage that is usually caused by another fault in the engine.
Customer was quoted for a replacement DPF after the regens were only successful for a few days. A new DPF would have been a waste of money as it would have blocked almost immediately. Main Renault dealer quoted over £4,000 for replacement.
