i think the most important point of this show is 100% to show that being dismissed and not being taken seriously by doctors is a big problem that many people go through and that we should absolutely keep pushing on until we find an answer.

I watched a ton of these yesterday, I almost didn't sleep because I kept overthinking about diseases and stuff. And after I finally fell asleep I woke up in the middle of the night sweating even though I had taken off all the extra clothing I was wearing before, it took me some more time to sleep again and I was extremely tired in the morning.
I literally couldn't stop thinking about diseases, whenever I tried to think of something else my brain would just shove the topic away and go back to diseases.

Lol. Do you think everything she said to the doctors at that tine made it into the film? This need to have every detail explained and neatly wrapped up in by the end of a film is what the rest of us in the west ( ireland and the UK anyway) notice about the Anerican audience. We even change film endings to suit them. Lol. Couldn't you think of an explanation yourselves instead of thinking it' s a flaw in the film? The logical answer to why it was not mentioned again might be because it had nothing to do with the diagnosis. And if was something to do with it, it doesn't actually matter because it's not needed for the story. Lads, leave something to the imagination!

For 7 years I got super bad pain in my abdomen, for 3 of those years I kept telling my doctors what I thought it might be, no one would check me for it, what I thought I had is super common, 1 in every10 women have it, that disease is endometriosis. Finally last year I found a doctor that sent me straight to surgery after 1 appointment, 2 weeks after the appointment I had my laparoscopy to get diagnosed and it was a birth defect that hung from my uterus, after the surgery all my pain went away... I will never forgive the doctors that ignored my pain and thought i was weak, I missed out weeks from school and work and was stuck in bed more times than I remember and no one did anything, this also happens for most women with endometriosis, doctors say it's normal period pain even thought its the entire month

Now I'm under birth control pills all day, so I don't have period anymore. But still, anytime I have a little bit of abdominal pain, I have anxiety. I'm glad I only have to take a tiny pill to solve the problem at least.

If it’s the same thing as having children naturally, YOU adopt instead of having children naturally. But you know it’s not, and you know why it’s not, because I will NEVER carry a baby, it’ll NEVER have my genes, yeah adoption is great but don’t tell people they can’t grieve about not having their own children as the two aren’t the same at all 🙄

Three days later the swelling and pain was halfway up and down my arm. I spent a week in hospital on IV antibiotics. Hospital Dr's 1st thought they'd have to operate. Glad I lied and said I feel a little better. The slightly loose skin from the swelling is no biggie. Dr's are one of the leading causes of death.

That's great, except the doctor has to have SOME idea of what to look for. There isn't one "test to rule them all" ! The vast majority of tests are relatively specific and if they perform one to test for 7 markers and you actually have marker no. 8 it won't find it. Medicine is a science with a large element of detective work and I bet you could film a show in Australia like this, just like you could in America or England or Ireland or anywhere that has large hospitals with an abundance of diagnostic techniques and equipment
