7:15 Them not having your interest in mind makes sense. That's to some extent the same in the Netherlands, but the difference is that we have both realtors representing buyers and sellers. The realtor you describe sounds like one that represents a seller. They indeed have the incentive to sell the house for the best price possible. A realtor that represents a buyer on the other hand would have the incentive to find a house that suits the buyer and advises them so that they get the best deal possible.
im appriciative of him showing the exact steps it will make anyone more confortable to take the step as it can be quit dounting im sure :) have a great week all.
They are in for the money.
The real extra costs are more like 10%!
It used to be 10% when the property transfer tax was 6%, but it is 2% now, or 0% for first time buyers. For me it was 5.5% in total, including the bill of the moving company and the realtor’s bill of selling my previous home. But without the tax deductions like the notary costs, mortgage costs, the registry costs etc. So after taxes it was about 5% for me.
Maybe he could buy a parkingspace (4 lines in a garage) in amsterdam for €500k
Wrong. You start with having a steady job and guaranteed income. Then go and find a house you like. then pay a visit to the bank. Those have the money, not a real estate company. If you work for a serious, large company they'll have contacts with banks and provide surety to the bank. If they don't, better start looking for another job. That's what I did. I don't think being a UA-camr is a candidate for a mortgage.
If he was just a youtuber, maybe not, but i'm sure he is not. He does not put out a lot of videos, he has a job as well..
Depends on the UA-camr honestly. People don't realize how much money there actually is in being a content creator. If you are good at what you do, and super consistent, you can easily make the same as or more than anyone working a regular job. That being said, it is quite hard to get to a level where you can live comfortably with UA-cam (Especially depending on where you live). Most UA-camrs who make big money aren't just settling for ad revenue. You have to also think about merchandise, donations, super chats and stickers, sponsors...
