The third (Your Smile) and the fifth track (Wonderfull Days) are their own tracks. The other tracks are from collegue dj's. Theo gets the chills because Wonderfull Days is their first ever hit dating back to 1995 and the response of the crowd after 15 years is still massive.

I have been at Defqon several times… best time of my life! Put on a short, some sneakers and for the ladies… a good bra!😂 then “hakken” till you drop! Everyone is your best friend at Defqon, people hug strangers and dance together like there’s no tomorrow. The vibe is amazing, love and joy and no agression at all! People often think that because the music sounds kinda “voilent” there would be a lot of anger at these party’s. They couldn’t be more wrong. Rave party’s are the peacefullest party’s of all❤️
Worked in Gelredome, worked at Defqon, worked at other similar events. After everyone was inside went to party every time as well. Missing the big festivals in their old form. But glad for QDance and the other companies to give us a lot of At Home festivals to keep connecting with us. For me 6 times Qlimax in a row was really insane, or Luna, One Man Show, with all the collabs. Defqon 1 will stay number 1 for me.
Defqon is with a q because the organizers are q-dance. Just like all there other parties there is a q somewhere in the name. Told ya we dutchies know how to throw a party

All these songs are my childhood! Love it so much!! Fun fact: house music, hardcore and happy hardcore all originated in the Netherlands. The great dj's of today (who most of them are Dutch as well) find the roots of their current edm music in this.
Hardcore for sure did, but you completely miss Detroit, Chicago and the UK in general have also been influential for house music. It is hard to pinpoint the exact origins, though most likely not just the Netherlands... Although we would all like to claim it, credit where credit is due; Chicago
I would have liked to agree with you, but it's different. House music comes from America, Hardcore from Germany and Happy Hardcore from England. Belgium was also very big in house music and was actually one step ahead of the Netherlands. The Netherlands made Hardcore great in the 90s they came all over from other countries to party in the Netherlands. The Netherlands has given a great diversity on all types of house and also the reason why the best DJs come from the Netherlands.
This takes me back to my 15 year old self, going out to clubs for the first time, dancing all night long. The charts back then consisted of either this, or rock and I loved both, eventhough you were kinda not supposed to. ❤

Yeeeaah Defqon 2010, love the old days and vibe but scene and these type of festivals has grown bigger over the last years. Make a part two with reaction to a more recent aftermovie of the Defqon 1 festival! Different location, way more people, crazy fireworkshows and music has changed a bit (not for the better but that’s my taste, fortunately they still have an early hardstyle stage with the music of those years) but definitely worth to check out! We Dutchies have a big talent for big festivals 🎉

Yeeeaah Defqon 2010, love the old days and vibe but scene and these type of festivals has grown bigger over the last years. Make a part two with reaction to a more recent aftermovie of the Defqon 1 festival! Different location, way more people, crazy fireworkshows and music has changed a bit (not for the better but that’s my taste, fortunately they still have an early hardstyle stage with the music of those years) but definitely worth to check out! We Dutchies have a big talent for big festivals 🎉
