@Yeeeooo000 Well for people who are bigger and have weak legs or not strong enough legs, this will help them out by being able to get to 90 degrees...Also for the reason that Scott stated in the video that I'm assuming you watched before commenting.
might be a dumb question..but is the only reason you're using the straps is to help you after you've done a lot of reps??

Hi Mr.Herman, by any chance do you have a Bruce Lee workout???
The way you describe it, it sounds more like they're normal bodyweight squats with the TRX only being there as a safety measure to prevent you from losing your footing or balance.

Scott, im a huge fan, and have made mad gains following your advice. That said, this excersize is bull, you dont have to hold a strap to do bodyweight squats :s
The straps are loose so there's no purpose for them !! It's the same whether you're using trx or not this is not helpful. It only helps to hold your leg while doing lunges. Or If you're a beginner and afraid to fall back.
Actually the TRX is fab done correctly I use it as conditioning for my soccer and it works

I am going to say that this TRX does NOTHING for this squat. Can't possibly see why anyone would need it unless they are afraid of falling backwards?!? TRX is cool, but not for this.
JesikaJay it's a good way to practice form if you're a beginner. no point using a bar or weight if you can't hip hinge

Who does 50 Squats? Plus I know everyone Squats different but this doesn't look natural. Toes facing forward and shoulder width looks like he's Gona end up snapping his hips.

That is 100% not the correct way to do a trx squat. TRX is designed to counterbalance your movement, so the straps should have full tension the whole time. Sorry man this isnt right at all
