I don't understand why you hate? He makes helpful videos for EVERYONE. If this doesn't help you, you don't have to bash it because someone probably does find this helpful.

I keep feeling it in my arms as opposed to my core.
I commented on some of the other videos about how bad the instruction is, but this is actually good form, so nice work here. Main thing is he keeps his elbows in, which prevents irritating the shoulder.

@GlassFight it can be water inside ur shoulder due to creatine, and it can also be that ur not warmed up before the exercise.
@rocco97 go for a wider position with your hands to place the strain more on your chest and less on your triceps
@Rodrighus im not scott..BUT you always need to go heavier in weight. once your body adapts and your normal routine gets easy, you always need more resistance. the gym has that.. you most likely do not. invest in a weight set if you don't already have one.
@Rodrighus yeah theres lots of excercises jus lik pushups that can make u muscular. using your own body weight is effective for getting cut but not big
nice one scott, but i hope there is an angle shot from above to show the right position of the hand and the shoulder more clearly and while doing the push up, how the ankle would move.

Mont 3 and 4 cable flyes lower chest, cable chest upper part etc etc etc.
same for the other with Arms and back
some ideas for new videos, maybe some more MMA style workouts, or a power clean vid. more improvised at home workouts, more question and answer, because you have almost every standard gym workout on your channel.
@moronga1 this is just one way to do a pushup, but it's like a bench press, you should keep your elbows tucked in to keep stress away from your shoulders
@feitom1995 true, if your hands and arms are closer together it helps the triceps more but if the hands are farther apart it helps biceps a little better.
@Rodrighus imo the hardest thing to practice withouit a gym is the chest. all else u can train pretty well from ur own bodyweight

if you tell scott that he's running out of ideas for videos, then just realize that the most common exercices are the best, and a lot of people do push-ups wrong

Very good vid Scott. Push up is probably the most basic exercise and yet many people do it wrongly. It's great that you take your time to show us this basic yet effective exercise ;)
@knicks3085 Wrong. Cardio is great for your heart, but burns minimal calories compared to resistance training (ie pushups and weight lifting). Everyone, even women, should do resistance training in addition to cardio. It's the best way to lose weight along with eating a proper diet and counting calories.
@eoink72 maybe yes or maybe not...there are tons of people that say can do 100 push ups but they do them wrong sometimes you have to go back to basics

@smokemadbuds991 Push ups are bad for your wrists when your palms are facing down... Try bending your wrist farther than maybe 75 or 80 degrees without no help from pushing on something. That is as far as your wrists are supposed to go but when you do push ups your wrists go 90 degrees maybe a little more.

@gill9871 lmao, i feel you man. chest excercises, like bench press, push ups, lat bench press, dont listen to the people that say diet diet diet, thats wrong, eat small meals every 2 or 3 hours, and throw out everything u drink and only drink water, drink water until u piss clear everyday. dont forget. if u dont get enough ur body will tell u its hungry when really ur just thirsty. water taste poor when u first start but after bout a week ur good too go.

Hey Scott, I love your videos! I'm wondering if you have any alternative to pushups and burpees. I've got arthritis in both of my hands which has caused them to shift leaving me unable to put weight on them. Any ideas?

@warfighter54 Chances are your hands are too far forward on the ground, try pulling them back so they're a bit closer to your chest so it takes the pressure off your shoulders and moves it onto your chest?

@kl33nex Sorry but I have to just mention if you do light weight and more reps it will NOT give you definition that is a myth, the only way to get definition is from haveing a low body fat percentage.
@clikclikboom123 doing light weight is to gain more definition on your body, while doing heavy weights will make u stronger.

Scott, why when i first start my pushups my tendons and muscles feel stiff then loosen up after a while?
