It's like the world was listening to my thoughts. A friend asked me to build him a jerkbait rod, and I was trying to figure out what to go with. Now I do!!!!! Thanks for all the help with these videos sir 👊🏼👊🏼 they help us newbies out a ton!!
Thanks for your videos and this series. I was curious about the lzr guides. I build/use L, ML, and M rods generally 6'6" for onshore Tx wading and kayaking, so this build is very interesting to me. I love the NFC blanks, but it takes a long time to get them.
It doesn't matter what they call them. I look at the line and lure weight ratings when picking a blank for a specific technique. If you look at the butt diameter, it will also give you and idea of how it's going to perform.

Great stuff Lee....sure could have used your videos when I started building 3 yrs ago.
Typically, under 2 weeks, which BTW was as fast as you could get any blanks when I started. They are worth the wait.
@@fdxcustomrods I agree theyre great. My most recent order hasn't shipped yet 3 weeks after ordering. Oh well. For $95 after excess tax, theyre great
Amazing like always ! This is a medium light rod , what will be his equivalent blank for a medium rod for walleye ?
It's an ML, but with the EF tip, it fishes like a medium
Hi , I build a rod on the same blank , I applied first coat on the guides wrap and is not perfect , what should I do ?
Many of my early rods were not perfect. Finish it, fish it, and enjoy the process. If it is for a client, then strip it off and start again.
Most blanks that have numbers that suit my needs are drop shot or spin/jig. What's the difference between the two of them?
