This isn’t just good, *for a mashup*...this is legit quality material that’s ridiculously enjoyable, even after the novelty has worn off. I previously never paid attention to the Temps and have now become a Dennis Edwards fan because of these vids. Mad props, Bill!
What's crazy about this particular mashup of Bills to me, is that I'm almost positive Zakk Wylde would be beyond thrilled to see his music attached to the temptations
Bill shows the differences between heavy metal and 70s soul music are only very slight. The differences are only illusions in our minds. Bill shows us all is one.
Metal evolved from psych rock and the Temptations specifically were one of the pioneers of psychedelic soul so they both came from the same place. All that's really different is the amount of distortion.
It's fun stuff to be sure but in all honesty almost all rock, r&b, blues, metal, pop, country, and rap music is in 4/4 measure and will mash together readily enough so long as you synch the beat.
@@Wittemn it's frequent to see such comments, "nah, this is trivial," but not only channels doing this kind of thing are quite rare, but the quality at this level of the end result is even more rare.
This mashup is another one of my favorites. Now, Bill McClintock makes everything look so easy when it comes to his creations. But not everyone can create amazing works of art like Bill, and that’s why it’s important to love and appreciate his creativity, dedication and passion for mashup masterpieces. Bill, thank you as always for your outstanding work. I love your style.
This mashup fits perfectly in today's world, and the lyrics kill!! It's as if these songs were meant to be together! This music has meaning to it, and I hear it loud and clear!! Thanks Bill!
I wish there is a group of young musicians out there who become inspired by these and start their own Motown/Metal group. As usual the video editing just highlights the seamless sonic mix. Standing ovation through the keyboard, Sir.
I love the mash ups when you effectively can't differentiate between the tunes, i.e. when it is so seamless it could actually have been the original recording. Large parts of this mash up is seamless in that respect, although in the beginning of the first verse you could sense some odd friction. Bill I don't say this in order to come across as sceptical or superior. Your job is awesome. I just sense that you operate on such a high level that both your love and your development feeds on honest, authentic feedback. I might wrong, but this is how I look naked, as it were. Respect brother!
It's amazing that the Temptations created this in the 70s and this song is more relevant today than it was back then. This is an incredible mashup. Great job Bill. Soul metal

This is so awesome. My favorite mashup I've heard by far. Not only is it really good "soul metal", but also when you adjust the speeds on the video, it gets even more creative. On 0.75x, it sounds like doom metal. Then when you put it on 1.25x, it turns into speed metal. And it sounds great regardless of what speed you put it on. So yeah dude, this is freaking awesome. Thumbs up and kudos to you. You rule man.

The lyrics go with metal better than I ever imagined. So good.
The magic of metal
Anthrax did a pretty good cover of Ball of Confusion, check it out.
The lyrics are heavy and lots of social commentary. Fits right in in a lot of metal. Black Sabbath did a lot of social commentary too for instance.
