He said he was thinking about the fans who had to go to work and save the money for the concert tickets, and didn't want to disappoint them.. How cool is that?
Only cancelled a small handful of shows to have surgery for his leg. Built an on-stage "throne" so he could prop his leg up and proceeded with the remainder of the tour. .Seriously, _who else_ would do that?
You think that's impressive?! One time I was playing on stage, when both my arms and legs exploded and a arrow embedded itself in my left earlobe. I just had someone kick a mouth organ to me and played for the rest of the 46hrs left of the concert, perched on a banana peel.

You may know this but the front man was the drummer for Nirvana. He bought the legendary Neve analog board that Nirvana recorded on from Sound City Studios and now records his music on it. There's an amazing documentary on it called Sound City. Worth a watch for sure.

While also having a 2 decade plus run of making badass music this band also is damn amazing live. Easily worth the money. Saw them earlier this year and even in the 40 to 50s age range they still put on a 3 hour show filled with awesomeness.
