CC had one of the greatest ranges in his voice of any rock singer today. If you want to hear him open up search 'Ritual', by Soundgarden. 👍🏼 I'm still crying over him being gone. *Also 'Say Hello to Heaven'.
One of my fave solos ever. Chills, man. Makes my hair stand straight up. And the world is a little bit darker place since Chris shifted off this mortal coil. We miss him. Terribly. RIP Chris Cornell...
no love for "shadow on the sun?" his screams at end give me goosebumps every time. and NOBODY talks about that song... ever. totally underrated. just trust me. trust. me.
I mean technically they are Rage Against the Machine. All of the members are the same except for Chris. Audioslave was formed when Zack de la Rocha left the band and Chris was brought on.
You gotta listen “Hunger Strike” and “Say Hello 2 Heaven” by Temple of the Dog Hunger strike: a song combining Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder, just imagine, perfection
Say Hello 2 Heaven, Preston, is the perfect singer letting loose song. Chris Cornell was one of the greats and he kills it there with an awesome build up
I love your reaction vids. Hands down better than the other "hiphop watch" vids. You really listen and understand the compositions. And you don't keep interrupting the song. You must be a pretty smart guy to listen with such intensity and focus.
or if you *really really* want to hear what he can do, check out the song that rick rubin played to these guys by soundgarden that created audioslave: slaves & bulldozers
There are so many others that showcase his voice better. Outshined, Slaves and Bulldozers, Reach Down, Say Hello to Heaven, Black Rain, Birth Ritual to name a few.
He was such a beautiful human. I'm always happy and sad whenever I hear his voice. I was so devastated after hearing about his passing, not to mention it was the same month as me and my older brother's birthday, about an hour away from where he performed his last show live in Detroit. I can't help but tear up every time he's mentioned or when I hear his gorgeous voice, but I love his music so much I can't help it. I've listened to him since he was in soundgarden. I remember the first time I saw them. It was on MTV, when it was still good of course and only about 'MUSICLY TALENTED INDIVIDUALS', and it was the music video for their song, Black Hole Sun. I was 7 or 8 years old, and fell in love with him instantly despite the weirdness of the video, lol. I miss him. God bless wherever he is 😢
Hey the lead singer for this band (Audioslave) is Chris Cornel RIP. He formed this band long after he achieved huge success with his first huge band Sound Garden. If you want to hear his unbelievable vocal; range listen to some of Sound Gardens music. Or temple of the dog which was another band he created in between.
The beauty in this is you can hear the emotion and longing in his voice and it's more power in it being understated instead of him totally letting lose and wailing. One of my fav songs, thanks for reacting to it!
If you really want to hear the late great Mr Chris Cornell 😢 R.I.P at his sublime best check out his two acoustic solo's of soundgarden's fell on Black Days and a cover of the late great Prince 😳s R.I.P Nothing compares 2 U he did for Sirius xm radio 📻 you will get chills especially when he hits a high note singing 🎶 fell on Black Days 💕luv your reactions keep sweet and g'day from down under ✌👋
The guitar player is Tom Morello ... formerly the lead for Rage Against the Machine. This is a SUPERGROUP. Chris Cornell was formerly Sound Garden. Murdered! Look into it!
This is easily the best react channel on UA-cam. I absolutely love watching this guy discover new music. I wish I could go back and hear these songs for the first time again.
That's a good one! I am the highway, and Spoonman ! Hey, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Solo Chris, there's so much to choose from! Ann Wilson one of my favorite female vocalist of all time, sang with Chris! They were very close ftiends! 💞👍
Watching you listen to some of my favorite songs of all time for the first time makes me envious that I'll never be able to do that (heard them hundreds of times).
God I fucking love this song. I heard it on the radio a few months ago and I didn't know who it was but I instantly knew I had to dance to it. So glad I came across this video today. You're right, the details MAKE the song- they are what dancers use to punctuate their performances.
I’m sure it’s been explained, but worth repeating. The singer is from the band Soundgarden. The rest of the band is Rage Against The Machine. Literally, that is the whole band minus their singer. When Zach could not longer be in Rage, they hired Chris, and changed their name. If you really want to hear Chris go off, listen to Say Hello To Heaven by the band Temple Of The Dog in which he is the singer for also. Oh yeah, don’t forget to check out Faith No More!
I’m loving watching all these people, who you’d normally look at and go ‘he’s into hip hop and rap and thinks rock music sucks’ just appreciating the talent and creativity of rock musicians. It shows music is truly universal and individual.
Good video reaction as always. If you want to hear Chris Cornell's powerful voice on display, listen to Slaves and Bulldozers, Outshined, Ritual or the Day I tried to Live from Soundgarden. Also Cochise or Show me How to Live from Audioslave... And of course Hunger Strike or Say Hello to Heaven from Temple of the Dog.
I really appreciate what you're doing. It's obvious that you're allowing yourself to experience the music. Try "Call me a dog", also by Temple of the Dog. You won't find an official video of it, but there may be some live recordings of it being performed (in recent years, Chris did a solo acoustic tour, "songbook", with many recordings released officially). If you want blues, balls-to-the-wall wailing, and a good song, that cut has it all.
Same singer, different band. Check out anything by Temple of the Dog. My personal favorite is Reach Down, and it has some AMAZING guitar work in it. Chris Cornell is also the legendary singer from the band Soundgarden. RIP Chris Cornell
If you want to hear that singer really put it all out there, listen to "Say Hello 2 Heaven" by one of his projects called Temple of the Dog. He hits some hiiiigh notes harder than you would think possible. Dude is a true legend.
Try "Rusty Cage" by Soundgardenfor a more spirited vocal performance by CC, or "Nearly forgot my broken heart" from Chris Cornell's last solo album. I think you'll appreciate them both.
would highly reccommend fell on black days or outshined by soundgarden for some killer chris cornell vocals.i mean chris cornell always killed it you really cant even go wrong
You have to listen to more Chris Cornell if you want to hear him open up cause he certainly does! Watch him in Show me how to Live or Hunger strikes. Incredible! Or his his whole live performance outdoors rooftop of NY city
Chris Cornell had the highest decibel in his voice of anyone! RIP Chris. His death messed me up worse than John Lennon. Thanks man. Def do some more Cornell.
I love this song. I think my favorite song of his is Outshined though. I love that line, “I’m looking California and feeling Minnesota.” That is a damned good line. As far as pure force of voice though, I’d have to give the nod to Tell Me How To Live. Chris Cornell was an amazing artist. RIP, brother.
CC had one of the greatest ranges in his voice of any rock singer today. If you want to hear him open up search 'Ritual', by Soundgarden. 👍🏼
I'm still crying over him being gone.
*Also 'Say Hello to Heaven'.
its called birth ritual :)
parallax 616 TY!
Yes!! He is still one of my all time favorites if not my most favorite!! Miss him terribly.
Couldn't agree more!! Chris Cornell was by far my favorite vocalist. "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart" was one of the best tracks he ever did!
Ree McLaughlin it's birth ritual and yes he was the GOAT in my opinion. Times of trouble by Temple of the dog is FIRE
Simply Beautiful. RIP Chris, thank you for every song you ever blessed us with.
Crap I’ve just discovered them
He goes nuts in Show Me How To Live And Cochise 👍
James Mason even more nuts on shadow of the sun...
I am the highway
I agree, think you'd dig that tune.
I love show me how to live so much, I actually have a tattoo of some of the lines on my shoulder
The ending of show me how to live never fails to take me to goosebump land
One of my fave solos ever. Chills, man. Makes my hair stand straight up. And the world is a little bit darker place since Chris shifted off this mortal coil. We miss him. Terribly. RIP Chris Cornell...
Audioslave - I Am The Highway
Watchwhereyourgoing youfool yes. Do it.
Yea bro I Am The Highway for sure!!! Do it mate!!!
That was my next pick excellent
Agreed. "I am the Highway" sends electricity through my whole body whenever I listen to it. And Chris Cornell really lets his voice free in it.
You got here before me. Powerful powerful song
no love for "shadow on the sun?" his screams at end give me goosebumps every time. and NOBODY talks about that song... ever. totally underrated. just trust me. trust. me.
One of the few solos in rock history that gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. Its one of those eerie/beautiful ones.
You need to step up your game
Tom Morello is a magician on the guitar
Time solo by Pink Floyd 🔥
Love Tom Morello
Tom Morello is a freaking legend.
FYI: Tom Morello...same guitarist with Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine. 👍🤘
I mean technically they are Rage Against the Machine. All of the members are the same except for Chris. Audioslave was formed when Zack de la Rocha left the band and Chris was brought on.
Tom will always hold a position within the string gods.
Soundgarden- Fell on Black Days
Audioslave- Show Me How to Live
Also that guitarist is Tom Morello, the same guitarist for Rage Against the Machine.
The band is RATM just with Chris on vocals
My wave
Agreed "show me how to live" is my favorite audioslave song. He lets his voice bust out all sorts of rage and pain.
I miss Chris Cornell so much. Definitely check our his song “seasons”
Soundgarden - Outshined
He lets it fuckin rip in his one, you gotta listen
Absolute essential Chris Cornell....this is THE Soundgarden track that must be listened to.
OUtSHINED OUTSHINED !!!!

Uh....
slaves and bulldozers
Soundgarden - Fell on Black Days. RIP Chris. See you soon
The lead singer is Chris Cornell (RIP). He was also in Soundgarden and had a song called "Blackhole Sun" you should react to it
Shaun Davis Jr. Sucks that he is gone.
I second this emotion.
He'$ 16 times nominated for the BEST MALE ROCK ARTIST of ALL TIME'$, No. 1 in the MUSIC ROCK CHART, My TOP 3 ALTERNATIVE ROCK LIST of ALL TIME'$.
Audioslave- Show me How to Live.....great radio song were he lets go.
Please check it out
good to see a reaction on a song that's so old (it come out in 2002 - just to remember it's March the 17th 2021 now as I'm listening to this)
You gotta listen “Hunger Strike” and “Say Hello 2 Heaven” by Temple of the Dog
Hunger strike: a song combining Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder, just imagine, perfection
YEEEESSSSSSSS! OMG YEEESSSSS! Amen!
Amen two powerhouse vocals RIP CC😢😭
You can't forget reach down. The vocal solo at the end is just wow
Say Hello 2 Heaven, Preston, is the perfect singer letting loose song. Chris Cornell was one of the greats and he kills it there with an awesome build up
Yesssssss
I love this man!! I'm so heartbroken that he's gone. He was known to be shy. He was a gentle giant. Ugh! Perfection at its finest!
Audioslave - Cochise
Иво Вампира definitely lets go in this song
This is probably my favorite song of theirs. Rocks so hard
Yes!
He really went beast mode in that one
The soul he puts through his voice into Cochise and Show me How to Live really makes me miss Chris. Honestly my favorite modern day rock band.
Shadow of the sun. Audioslave. Try that one. He let's go on that one for sho
I love your reaction vids. Hands down better than the other "hiphop watch" vids. You really listen and understand the compositions. And you don't keep interrupting the song. You must be a pretty smart guy to listen with such intensity and focus.
TheMonkeyMedicine Yeah, you can tell he actually enjoys listening to music.
His voice will always give me goosebumps💙
If you want to song where Chris really Cuts loose do Spoonman by Soundgarden.
Roadstar1602 great tune
or if you *really really* want to hear what he can do, check out the song that rick rubin played to these guys by soundgarden that created audioslave: slaves & bulldozers
There are so many others that showcase his voice better. Outshined, Slaves and Bulldozers, Reach Down, Say Hello to Heaven, Black Rain, Birth Ritual to name a few.
Lisa Johnson limo wreck is my favorite. underrated
Yes!!!! Mine too.
You had asked about the second vocalist in the Temple of the dog song. Chris Cornell is also the vocalist here as well
Hunger Strike? Chris with Eddie Vedder
The most intense song by him is Slaves and Bulldozers. He roars on that particular song. And it was also the last song he ever performed.
Luke Saxon beyond the wheel too
LOL slaves is great but beyond the wheel is soundgardens signature song
and the last song he performed was in my time of dying. A zeppelin cover so stop your bs
Brian Johnson It was a merge between those two songs so fuck off
if slaves is the most intense youve never heard "beyond the wheel"
He was such a beautiful human. I'm always happy and sad whenever I hear his voice. I was so devastated after hearing about his passing, not to mention it was the same month as me and my older brother's birthday, about an hour away from where he performed his last show live in Detroit. I was 7 or 8 years old, and fell in love with him instantly despite the weirdness of the video, lol. I miss him. God bless wherever he is 😢
God he was a beautiful person, beautiful soul...
He was taken out because of that reason. He was gonna blow the whistle on Hilary
I'm still so upset about Chris, thanks for choosing a great song and I love how you show your respect for great music my man
He was suicided Hilary
The beauty in this is you can hear the emotion and longing in his voice and it's more power in it being understated instead of him totally letting lose and wailing. One of my fav songs, thanks for reacting to it!
Chris Cornell was an awesome singer. I saw him in 2008. He sounded the same live as on the record.
,, you are okay dude. You really know how to recognize the good things in life I can tell
I love how much you love good music.
His voice literally touches my soul, it is sultry and sexy and smooth- Fly high Chris 🤘🏻
Another one blessing you're ears ....the soul he has in his voice....❤
Chris will show you his range when he was with Soundgarden, his original band. Check out, "Beyond the Wheel". 1980 live version.
If you really want to hear the late great Mr Chris Cornell 😢 R.I.P at his sublime best check out his two acoustic solo's of soundgarden's fell on Black Days and a cover of the late great Prince 😳s R.I.P Nothing compares 2 U he did for Sirius xm radio 📻 you will get chills especially when he hits a high note singing 🎶 fell on Black Days 💕luv your reactions keep sweet and g'day from down under ✌👋
yes, do nothing compares to you
Feel on black days got me through many hard times.
Listen to this song everyday it never gets old.....the best
Do Cochise by Audioslave. The singer was also in Soundgarden, so there's a ton of songs where he screams like crazy 🙂
Cochise is lit!
Cochise might be too much
The Day I Tried To Live - Soundgarden is one of my absolute favourites songs. Not only by Chris Cornell but in general
AUDIOSLAVE-SHOW ME HOW TO LIVE
One of his best vocal performances.
Dear Chris Cornell, thanks and we miss you.
Man I was just listening to this earlier and thought about how cool it would be to see you react to this. Fuck yeah man.
Steel Rain!!
The guitar player is Tom Morello ... formerly the lead for Rage Against the Machine. This is a SUPERGROUP. Chris Cornell was formerly Sound Garden. Murdered! Look into it!
Listen to Chris Cornell cover Prince Nothing Compares to You
It’s unreal what he does with that song
That's my favorite cover hes ever done do it preston

I love the guitar solo, It was one of the firsts i learned on guitar back in the day.
show me how to live by audioslave listen to that he really let his vocal go like you wanted
King you HAVE TO review Audioslave - Show Me How to Live! Bro, you'll love it!
This is easily the best react channel on UA-cam. I absolutely love watching this guy discover new music. I wish I could go back and hear these songs for the first time again.
Audioslave Cochise!!!! he hits loud and long, son!
nothing compares to "beyond the wheel" and its just that simple
BusterVentura08
That's a good one! I am the highway, and Spoonman ! Hey, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Solo Chris, there's so much to choose from! Ann Wilson one of my favorite female vocalist of all time, sang with Chris! They were very close ftiends! 💞👍

The singer here is Chris Cornell and if you want to hear him let loose, check out soundgarden- Beyond the wheel
Damn I just commented this without seeing your comment but yeah man he let's out in that whole song def his best vocal song to me
Say hello to heaven featuring Chris Cornell. Epic vocals. God status
and Reach Down. Best. Song. Ever.
This whole track is a fatality
Jack Moloney hell yeah
I remember drooling when this clip came out. Lol.
He was so beautiful... he aged fantastic as well. Was still smokin
Truth!!
@@NZYOGAGIRLLarissa haha, love it. O ye!
Man I'm a big fan of yours, you're the best at reacting. Thumbs up from Brazil, bro
Love you bro. Love your videos. I get goosebumps hearing songs i haven't heard lately.
The sing you need to hear Chris give you one is- SOUNDGARDEN- "Jesus Christ Pose" & "Spoonman"
God I fucking love this song. I heard it on the radio a few months ago and I didn't know who it was but I instantly knew I had to dance to it. So glad I came across this video today. You're right, the details MAKE the song- they are what dancers use to punctuate their performances.

Oh yeah, don’t forget to check out Faith No More!
Mike fuckin Patton!
Agreed, Faith No More. Just a Man.
Josh Carroll .. ‘pushing forward back’ is a great tune from a great album
Agreed, can't do any wrong on that album. It's a shame they only gave us the one.
Reach down is epic
LOL its decent but. Its not even top 5
Good band. But not really his best song. Soundgarden songs are better.
One of my favorite songs. The guitar solo is so beautifully haunting!
Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark (Live At Rock In Rio) definitely crazy bro
Tsunayoshi X yes!
Little side fact. Apparently this video was shot at Jimi Hendrix estate.
Audioslave lets loose in the song show me how to live. You will not be disappointed in that one!
You need to listen to SOUNDGARDEN, Chris Cornell's 1st band - one of their best songs are " The Day I Tried to Live" and "Black Hole Sun"
Another dead way before his time. R.I.P. Sir
He stretches his vocals pretty well in Temple of the Dog “Reach Down”
Also if you didn’t know the guitarist is the same from Rage Against the Machine
If you want to hear that singer really put it all out there, listen to "Say Hello 2 Heaven" by one of his projects called Temple of the Dog.
He hits some hiiiigh notes harder than you would think possible.
Dude is a true legend.
Rip Chris..thanx for this tune bruh..means so much in my heart
Try "Rusty Cage" by Soundgardenfor a more spirited vocal performance by CC, or "Nearly forgot my broken heart" from Chris Cornell's last solo album. I think you'll appreciate them both.
Rusty Cage is solid, but for Chris' vocals (and a badddddd ass bassline) I'd say Outshined.
Poor guy. Waiting was too much pressure. He's in a house now.
Audioslave shadow on the sun
Everyone is basically suggesting the whole self titled album😂😂. He should do a series lol
RUSTY CAGE from album BADMOTORFINGER
From when he were w/SOUNDGARDEN
would highly reccommend fell on black days or outshined by soundgarden for some killer chris cornell vocals.i mean chris cornell always killed it you really cant even go wrong
Show Me How to Live & I am the Highway also, but this is my personal fave! You're on the $$$ with these reactions! RIP Chris Cornell 🙌🏽
Loving your song choices
I love the way you appreciate different genres of music like me,. your reactions are so good :)
RIP Chris Cornell :'( :'( Amazing person and singer!!
Listen to his Songbook live album version, if you want to hear him pour it out.
Audioslave- Gasoline
You have to listen to more Chris Cornell if you want to hear him open up cause he certainly does! Watch him in Show me how to Live or Hunger strikes. Incredible! Or his his whole live performance outdoors rooftop of NY city
Ah. Ahhh! You're bumping into Rage Against the Machine, and I really hope you get there!
The guitar solo gives me goosebumps to this day.
Same singer is in soundgarden the song OUTSHINED HE unloads vocally.
Chris is so passionate while singing this song as he always was!
Megadeth - Wake Up Dead next pls. so many killer riffs in one song. mindblowing masterpiece
Chris Cornell had the highest decibel in his voice of anyone! RIP Chris. His death messed me up worse than John Lennon. Thanks man. Def do some more Cornell.
Show me how to live! You'll get what you want.
G.o.a.t. R.I.P. chris
Dude..Audioslave, I am the Highway, then Doeesnt Remind Me! Staight Up homie!
This song just touches your spirit just so gently
Show me how to live- Audioslave, please!!
It has a sick music video
I love you feeling this song especially since it's the simplicity of it that makes it
Yea, gooooooooood shit here bruh
I 💜 CC one of the best voices in all of music
