Foo Fighters have to be one of the BEST rock bands of all time. Dave, the lead is known as the "The Nicest Man In Rock/Music". My suggestion would be to checkout the whole Foo Fighters Greatest Hits album, there isn't a single bad song on there. Everlong, Learn to Fly, Times Like These, Monkey Wrench & All My Life are the main songs.
If ever you do best of you. I recommend doing the Wembley stadium version of the song. That concert was the pinnacle of what food fighter is. You can tell how humble all of them are with the facial reactions at the end of it. Also they had 2 special guest come on stage, not going to spoil who they are as you could do those songs as reactions.

Dave Grohl sealed his place in rock history when he fell off the stage during a show, came back with his leg in a cast and a doctor holding his leg and finished the show. Then had a throne made so they could finish the tour. Absolutely bad ass! Oh and I heard he cooks a pretty mean brisket.

Dave is seriously amazing as a musician. He plays most instruments, his very first album as Foo Fighters he didn't yet have a group yet, so he made then entire album on his own. Layering and playing every instrument himself, and on his own. He had the group put together shortly after that.

Now they have 4 guitars a drummer and keyboards. Foo Fighters are the quintessential rock band. They manage to consistently write timeless songs and play 3+ hour live sets that will pierce your soul, all while being fronted by the nicest guy in rock.
Foo Fighters is one of the great rock bands of the past 25 years. Grohl being in both Nirvana and Foo is incredible. Great songs: Best of You, Monkeywrench, Everlong, learn to fly, long road to ruin, Walk. You’ve probably heard their song My Hero in about 30 movies.

They also have a cover of Prince's "Darling Nikki" that they actually played the other night at the Prince tribute. These guys are really good guys. During the wild fires in California, Dave Grohl is out there barbecuing for the firefighters, etc. and a few years ago he fell off stage at a concert and got back on stage and finished the concert!

i think when the songs came out (about 2007-ish), the bush admin was in charge, so I guess most of the lyrics came from the frustration of that era. that being said, this song is relevant as ever, especially when our people are being restless by injustice.. so yeah, it could be a good protest song

it's not that people were keeping you from the Foo Fighters it's that the usual progression is that you get in deep on Nirvana fist as the lead singer for the Foo Fighters(Dave Grohl) was the drummer for Nirvana, I'd also recommend his drumming on the Queen's of The Stone Age album Songs For The Deaf, both "Go With The Flow" and "No One Knows" are pretty sick, Them Crooked Vultures was supergroup he was part of, but if you want him full tilt unhinged you check out Probot he got different rock legends to front every track

My man, the Foos are a straight up rock band. One of the few still around now actually. Grohl is a fantastic songwriter. I'd for sure suggest checking them out more. I would have suggested them, but I'm new... Sorry dude.
Hey just checked out a few the fact you found Foo Fighters on your own cuddoes to you David Gruel of Foo Fighters is a legend of our times up there with Cory Taylor, Johnathan Davis, Maynard he was the drummer of Nirvana has done work with Tenacious D "Beelzebub" if you need proof oh yea and when famous techno group Infected Mushroom they had a good laugh when David had a vinyl of one of there albums they did not have... also gave them the green light to do a cover of this very song its amazing Eisen is a god on the keybord. As a child of 86 the first metel song i got into was Fear Factory "Zero Signal" though not there best piece oddly appropriate in these times or you can cheek out Liquid Tension Experiment "Acid Rain" and without a single word get melted 8)

I love this. I love your reaction. This song is fire. It represents everyone who feels taken advantage of by someone. It's for everyone who feels like someone is trying to take advantage of them. So I think it should resonate with the black community. & I know the Foo fighters would be on board for that. Oppression? Not cool. Racism. Not cool. It's everywhere. But these guys are not having it. & I know they are white, but they would be against any kind of oppression.
