  • This is a video from a couple years back that I've just recently had the time to edit. These are the types of places I want to revisit with a film crew. In order to do that I need a bit of a budget. I've got to say you've guys have been absolutely AMAZING with the support so far. Of all the social media communities I have, UA-cam is definitely where the truest supporters can be found. Thank you so much for fueling my dreams of taking the first in depth english language documentary series about Hungary to a major streaming platform. You can support my mission here: www.withwillie.com or if you feel more comfortably sending your own local currency, rather than HUF, you can do so at my pay pal: paypal.me/williegevertz?count...
We've already collected over 3 million forints in just three weeks. Yes, you read that right!!! 3 million. I'm so honored and blessed to have you all as supporters and will do everything to make you proud when I go to shoot the pilot for this series in September. Still a ways to go for the total budget, but we are on the fast track to success and smashing all of our goals. #Hajrá

Very good video, I was also born in Bács-Kiskun county, now I live in Győr, and I was just thinking that I've never seen a grasshopper as big as you :D And one just came into my apartment :'D so it's not so funny anymore, better it could only be seen on video 😂😂

@@withwillieThe best one was when you recorded a close-up of you cleaning up the rest of the Halászlé off the plate XDDD
Okay, so just simply the vlogging without editing and without too many cuts. I don't know, if you take videos with a camcorder or not, but the scenes that you can easily record with this device, are the best. 👍🚀

@@withwillie The historical surprise is that the Great Plain were not always so great. When the Habsburgs came up with the idea of Hungary becoming Europe's breadbasket, 70 percent of the country's territory was forest, and they cleared it so that only about 15 percent remained. When Mária Terézia realized that nothing was growing in the desertified country, she tried to save the situation with a forestry law, from which the people only found that it was forbidden even to build houses from wood. (It also helped the situation a lot when the Hajmáskér shooting range was created, the forest there also went into the trash, that was the price of the largest shooting range in Europe at the time. - irony) Now, compared to this, the current state that you saw in the Great Plain, you already know how much work result. Unfortunately, this is also the case with the marshes, which were very important in the life of the Hungarians, see, for example, Sándor Makkai's book:Ördögszekér.
