5k mile Pan European road trip!!!! Take it full overland spec, kitchen and swivel seats in the van, roof tent, chunky tyres, bull bar (just because) snorkel (just because). Take in a rally stage in Scandinavia, tour the alps, eat some food france, drink an espresso in Italy, swallow a sausage in Germany 😳) ect ect
My late wife bought herself a new Suzuki carry van, she loved it, used as her daily. Every year she loaded it to the gunnels and more, a full roof and van full of camping equipment our Alsatian and our Bearded Border Collie, leaving the Russell at home with me, and off she went 7 hour drive to the Isle of Weight, for two weeks windsurfing and playing around in the sea. I looked after any repairs two front torsion bars was all, and servicing, she had it 8 years or there abouts before she got cancer and could not drive it anymore, it fair broke me up selling on but a really lovely guy who was a beekeeper wanted it, so I was happy about that as my wife loved nature, I sold it for 2 k and in all it was hers/mine for nine years.
24hrs of the left right game. You have to take any road that is "open" and not a dead end, alternating from left to right turns. Played this once with a mate and ended up in some random location in Wales. Great fun.
Serious question cos I want to try this on our next roadtrip. If you end up on a motorway, are you allowed to turnoff at the next exit if it doesn't match the next required direction?
Turn it into your little campervan/adventure car and do a roadtrip in it, kind of like the NC and the SC500 and go site seeing. Jack will absolutely LOVE that van after a serious roadtrip like that.
8:56 was hysterical. This is becoming my favourite youtube channel. Cool ideas, Ethan and Jack are awesome, the videos are super chill. Amazing content.
Take Peaches McBingle from England's southernmost mainland castle (Pendennis) to England's northernmost castle (Berwick) without using dual carriageways. Jack gets to visit the castles at the start and end before and after the challenge, and any castle he can see from the road along the way during the challenge, provided they're open of course, but Ethan picks the route.
Avoiding a-roads also, then you have a challenge. Managed deep Devon to Oxford doing b roads or county lanes (with grass in the middle). It was painful but fun.
My local dominos has a service where you can order for collection, but tell them you're sat outside in the car and they bring it straight out to you. It's so you can sit in your warm car watching Netflix on your phone while you wait, and they don't have a load of people hanging around inside the shop complaining about the wait. As for the van, Ethan's Wood needs to come out again. I reckon it's a good candidate for bunk beds.
That van needs to round the Nürburgring! Make it into a epic Europe road trip, keeping the van as basic as possible. couple of hammocks in the back and the gas burner you've used on a few trips... Be good to see a trip done on a budget, basic all the way!
This van has been such a memory for me. I never would have imagined a day would come where this van would be featured. Back in India this van came with a different name and it was with us for 17 years. Dad had to sell it as too many problems came about. Ours came with 7 seats and all features of that era for an economical van and not so economical mileage. I learned driving in this and it’s such a joy to see this brought to the limelight. Thanks you guys. Loved the challenge and hope to see what you guys will be doing with it. Stay blessed ❤
@5:50 I’m paralysed from the waist down. It’s a total faff and feels like a proper short change to build my wheelchair, transfer into it and then do the reverse of all that for a short, quick task… You better believe I’ve done this at a few Dominos in my time! 🙈 (tbh when I explain it’s normally totally fine, and even more so post pandemic 🤷🏻♀️).
That van will be 100% doable into a lovely micro camper, me and my girlfriend decided to take the plunge last year and build a camper van out of a knackered old berlingo van and we just love it, we’ve been all over the place in it and while it’s small it’s comfy and warm!
You two are rapidly becoming my most anticipated video drop of the week, you're like the 'Robbie Williams' success story when Take That split up and everyone expected Gary Barlow to be the successful one, ok maybe not that's a terrible analogy but there's a back-handed compliment in there somewhere.😂
I love the direction you took with the channel. It feels fresh and really genuine, just two mates hanging out and enjoying life. Keep at it, the internet needs more of this
I love this channel it's so fun, no over done to death classic youtube jokes and cuts that make you roll your eyes, just two mates, a simple plan, and sincere laughter throughout. Wonderful stuff
I immediately recognise the spot you stopped going further at 12:55, the coast road in littlestone. Last year when i got back from europe, I camped the night there, not having realised I entered the single track path road with nowhere to turn around. The following morning with no choice but to go full speed ahead, smashed the sump and spent the next 3 days awaiting recovery broken down in that exact spot. An awful time, despite beautiful views and very tolerant locals
This is the perfect van for you guys. You have got to turn this into a mini overland camper…… with a 3 inch lift kit, snorkel and full length roof rack. I can seen some mega adventures in this little beast
These tiny vans are great around town, or anywhere with small roads. Ours were always terrifyingly slow on the motorway compared to all the other vehicles. I wouldn't fancy a mega distance road-trip in it but you might enjoy something like making it into a camper then going to Cornwall and learning to surf.
Make a mini-camper, a proper one. Some Ikea drawers etc. Have enough space left for a cosy mattress that can fit two bodies in a squeeze. Or..... Turbo it and paint it like the A-Team van. Black with red go faster stripes, a spoiler; tint the windows.
You two make my morning today. It was a shit morning because the previous night spent in the hospital but watching you two brought the smile on my face. Thank you guys 😊
If you're willing to put in the time and effort to actually convert that beautiful little nug into a camper car, I'd watch every second of it. God willing 🤞
Me and my mate bought a Bedford rascal for £200 once and drove it from the north of England for 8 hours to Cornwall. It was that slow we had to draught wagons but subsequently it only cost us £28 in petrol. One of the best holidays we’ve had 🍻 🚐
You guys are absolute legends. Your ideas and your budget are miles apart. That's how good YT works. More please. A bit of a shame That no Of you Used the camping toilet. Definitely better that way. Thanks guys
I had a Swift of this generation for a couple of years. Reliable, cheap machines. Seeing the dash just brought memories. Some parts of the dash are shared with your wan. Nostalgia.
I have a friend from uni has a van like this, he converted it and I believe lived in it for a while. Was really cool, he had it all set up. I'd love one for myself :D
I bloody love mini vans! A friend drive his Bedford Rascal, fully loaded from The Midlands, through France and Spain to Alicante, sleeping in the front seat, now there’s an idea!
Drive it to the Sahara, unsupported. I managed it in a Skoda Felicia Estate in 2007. Epic drive along the beach in Mauritania, there's a minefield between it and Western Sahara which you drive through. You could fit everything in there for both of you no problem, just buy fuel and food on the way.
Excellent stuff. Discovered the channel about a week ago and have been binge watching the adventures of the budget versions of Giles Coren & Harry Kane. I reckon that van set you back £820. Next challenge with it: visit and rate every motorway service station on the M1.
Peaches is a great find. Plenty of absolutely hammered rot-boxes out there, but this one looks in great nick. Stick a roof rack on it, get a couple of boards and take it surfing. You can surf, yeah?
cracking episode. would love to see this turned into a proper mini overlander, big wheels (well, maybe 16s lol) lifted, roof rack/tent etc looks like great fun
12:55 Having ended up in Dungeness, Lydd, etc. just by driving around, I can sympathise with finding that dead-end road. It's much worse in an old Golf. Trust me.
I saw that dominos lorry pulling up and thought, that poor store crew, now they have to sort that delivery whilst open. Trust me that's horrible. Also we offered this as a genuine service when I worked for Dominos, it was called drive thru orders but essentially it was a second collection order where people put the make, model and reg as well as colour of their vehicle and then we'd take it out to them. Started it during COVID and then just carried it on as an option post COVID
This is defo becoming my fav channel the variety is amazing and it’s the only channel where I actualy trust that they did the challange and didn’t cheat
Content idea: Van in full camping spec and then spend a week living in it. You have to prepare/bring your own food so you cannot buy food, sweets etc. and any additional things alltogether in the week, only petrol and water. You can get out of the van walk around it etc.
You should definitely do a low budget, DIY, camper van conversion with this van. See what you can do for £500, must have sleeping space, couch, sink, cooker.
OMG I rode through Dungeness once and I forgot where it was, I was actually trying to find the name of this place a few days ago so I could return! It's such an eerie place, really worth a visit to see something a bit unique in the UK
I love the content that has been on lately. As for the van, I read a lot about making it into a micro camper. Kind of agree. Maybe do a conversion in some original ways. buy items of marketplace only, have Ethan attempt to install things, etcetera.

Someone on my street has a Daihatsu Hi-jet camper van it looks as if it was bought as a Camper rather than a conversion I've lived on the street over 15 years & they've always had it & for a tiny camper looks great.
Best non car channel around at the moment. Just genuine content we'll done guys. I'm currently in fits of laughter in St Pancras Station waiting for my missus. 😂

Aww mate! I’m sorry to hear of your loss. Your wife sounds like she was quite the character! I hope you and your dogs are keeping well ❤
Yes camping alone can give you cancer. People should not be doing it.
The only channel doing something different with likeable presenters. Kudos gents. Keep up the Sterling work.

What a lovely tender moment between Ethan and that airbed.. 😂
The van actually looks mint and very well taken care of.
