Hi Chris, I am about to Dynamat my entire 2015 Jeep Rubicon. I am trying to male it quieter for my toddler son and want to ask, how much Dynamat Extreme and 1/2” Dynaliner did you order for the doors? Do you think it is better to start with the doors or the tub? I plan to do the entire interior after installing my hardtop and hot head liners which should arrive this month. I know it is a lot of work, and costly, but hoping it is worth it for my wife and son. Would you do it again? Thanks in advance for your response!
I've never finished doing it, unfortunately. If I was you, I'd start with the floor then the doors. I also wouldn't recommend doing the hood like I did unless you have a snorkel. It traps too much heat.
Chris Rademacher thanks Chris. I will start with the floors per your recommendation. Is it a pain in the @$$ to get inside the doors behind the window to get the Dynamat straight onto the sheet metal? I saw you used both Dynamat and Dynaliner and I plan to do the same. Any video resources you may have for disassembly of the door would be much appreciated. My hood came with a liner (2015 Rubicon) and i don’t plan on messing with it. I did like your demonstration of the rattle under the wipers though. Does that trap heat too? Sorry for all the questions, but as I am sure you know; it is a lot of work and expensive.
I'm about to do the doors in my 2014. Where you able to fit in the 1/2 inch material in the front doors too?
