- We just got video of Danny's arrest, he's wearing a Chiefs jersey, but unclear if he was at the game before the airport incident. You can hear him at one point tell cops he's the drummer for Tool ... but they clearly don't care, pushing him against the glass and slapping cuffs around his wrists.

What’s bullshit, is they tripped him when they said quit resisting. He wasn’t resisting, he lost balance.
A lot of cops are famous for bullshit stunts like that. The same thing happened to me when I was arrested. I couldn't have been more cooperative, but they'll do things like slam you against a wall for no reason, trip you so you lose your balance, or twist your arms (even after you've obeyed every command). When you try and regain balance or keep them from hurting your arms it's "STOP RESISTING!!" That bullshit is all too common. Too many cops have their "big boy" pants on and abuse their authority.

@Christopher Hayden All I know is I used to play bass in bands and when people treated me with any kind of reverence, it made me super uncomfortable. I thought that what I was doing was something special, but I didn't want to be treated as a special person.

I'm met the whole band at street scene in San Diego and Danny was the nicest guy! He gave me a big hug! Maynard on the other hand was standoffish and very upset because people were severely injured in the crowd. He wasn't rude he was just upset. Stopped the show after close to 45 minutes until people stop acting like dicks. We wish you well Danny
We support and love Danny he is one of the nicest people I've met in my life he has the heart of a kid. He visited our college for a session, and one of the best drummers of all time. Seeing that makes me sad this could happen to anyone.

I feel like they cut out the part when the cops asked him what he was doing in Kansas City, so it would look like he simply said "I play drums for Tool" just so it it would seem like he was pulling the "Don't you know who I am" card.
The way one policeman blocks his foot making him loosing his balance and the other shouts "quit resiating now" makes me take a clear standpoint about this arrest.

Everyone keep in mind, what you see here is the only proof there is of anything. All other claims are alleged by TMZ. Danny also had surgery at the beginning of the year on his shoulder arms and chest, which is probably why he was trying to explain to them who he was, considering police have a known history of being extremely over aggressive, especially lately.

As a drummer myself, I see the officers grabbing his arms behind him, and I feel the pain and potential for much worse. Then I quickly remember that our shamanistic drummer has an infinite amount of limbs that regenerate every time one of us plays a TOOL track. In all seriousness, I endlessly, greatly appreciate, celebrate, learn from, am inspired by, and pray for Danny.
I had a dream a long time ago, probably 2004, that I was in a trailer park and Danny Carey was in a bedroom with me teaching me to play the tablas. He was wearing a robe, like a monks outfit. It was a really weird vivid dream that I still remember well.

They are clearly in the wrong...... he says come on man then boom head to the glass and the cop grinned out of anger in doing so.
