Did you have to drain your entire pool to get the pavers under. I’ve seen some UA-cam videos that have you use a lift at ea ch support but they are all round pools and have just one leg each support not two like these. Do you know what to do to lift it and be able to put wood or pavers underneath safely without having to empty the pool?
did you have any issues with pavers cracking? We just put our Intex pool up (in NZ) and one of the pavers cracked in half already so now we're not sure what to do... the level of the pool is still fine.
Did that with the HD pavers and once it filled 4 of them on one wide side snapped in half...it was leveled until that happened smh. I know it can be fixed but after 4500 gallons spent...ouch!
I get why you installed a carpet but are you sure going with carpet?? Doesn't carpet suck up the water and start to smell like a dead cat? Does it smell? Or what do you do about the smell specially after rain?
I think maybe you are thinking if it was wet carpet in a house. If this carpet stinks we cannot smell it because it is outside. I hope that helps. The carpet was the only thing I could afford (free) at the time we installed pool.
Chad great video intalling an intex pool but was wondering on the paver placement. Should I place paver in the middle of support leg or more towards the front of paver due to kick out when pool fills up. I guess the question would be how much does support leg kick out when filling the pool. If it doesn't kick out much should i just center paver?
so you said you had to take pool down and do some more site prep, my 16x32 needs to be drained and land needs to be redone also. I bought those patio pavers from lowes and placed them under the legs once pool filled every single one cracked in half and on the one side the paver sunk completely and now the leg itself is sinking. The gentlemen who leveled my land added 7 inches on soft dirt and didn't pack it down with a roller so now i have soft dirt raised off the ground i just don't know what to do and i need pavers maybe that hold 4-6,000 pounds since this pool is 12,000 gallons, i love this pool but the site prep has been a headache since my backyard was so hilly and needed the major resloping, any advice?
How thick were the pavers that you used? They should be at least 1.5" thick. We had a corner that was soft, and so we dug deeper holes and put in two landscaping paver blocks (the blocks that are around 8" wide by 4" by 4") vertically then one on top of it horizontally. Sorry you are having trouble with that.
I have the same pool. I was told that water level should be down so the skimmer can take this off of the surface of the water. Because water level was above it & it wasn't getting stuff from the surface. So I let water out to be at the skimmer level but now water level is a foot lower from the top of pool. I see your water level is all the way up. Am I doing it wrong?
The skimmer if functioning properly should float up and down to match your water level. My pool is about as full as it can be, because of the rain we get. But the skimmer floats up to the top and still does what it needs to do.

Yes we did have that. I wouldn’t worry about it as long as the leg is still holding.

About a foot from the edge of the pool is where you want the center of the block.
i have the 24x12 pool, and I see a difference of almost one inch between the 2 long sides, is my pool still safe?

How much sand do I need for the installation of the INTEX 32’ x 16’ x 52” pool. I only need it about 2-3” deep
