Operation Critter Camera!

- I've had some wildlife in the house I bought, which is somewhat jokingly known as The Roach Palace. I suspect that I know what the animals are, but cheap security cameras are always fun. This video talks about how I set them up, how the recording works, and how they can be monitored.
I'm usually not a huge fan of security cameras, but I'll confess that I have an ulterior motive. I'd like to put a night vision capable camera outside on Halloween night, as there are lots of kids who go around in disguise and run around, smashing pumpkins and stuff. - Наука та технологія
I like that front door with the three horizontal windows in it. And you gotta love the PS/2 tower sitting next to it inside! :-)
Hah, same just noticed that after watchin his video tearing it down.
HA the key keeper looks pretty creepy on the night view XD
Your brother looks like a cereal killer at the end. Looks funny. Lol
General Mills fears him! :-P
Lmao.was that a still shot of Keykeeper toward the end that the security cam got?He looked like a Serial Killer there....lol.
Yep that last still picture was a real winner thanks for the nightmare fuel key keeper and ofcourse i see it before going for my nap oh well happy trails to dream land for me
It's really cool to look back at this a dozen years ago and think of how quickly and easily nowadays we can set up something like Ring cameras that connect to the wifi and we can view and activate them from anywhere with our phones. All of which for probably the same or less than what you spent for this set up.
It's amazing how far technology can advance in just a few years.
The '70s called and they would like their paneling and carpet back.
Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.
The cheap infared cam has to have an external infared light source to see in the dark. You can get infared bulbs at pet supply stores. They are used to keep iquanas and other amphibians warm.
Very cool vid!
is that a compaq s5000nx
Good luck. That would be cool to see some creatures from the dark lagoon
Yeesh. it’s like something out of a horror movie at the end with the photo of the key keeper ;) (why UA-cam suggested I watch a video from 9 years ago is beyond me🤔)
thats pretty cool
yay your back!
Where did you purchase the security camera card for your computer tower?
eBay.
Okay, thanks!
I miss your videos. Hope you’re doing well.
it must of had the bestec in it before right?
i just had a power supply go crazy on me the other day!
Oh boy...could I ever have fun with that kind of set-up! (I thought about conning the Keykeeper into getting me in the Roach Palace and making some computer cases mysteriously float around with monofilament. The wife shot down the idea, though. (Can't I have any fun?)
welldontdothat hi
such a mess. i love it haha it would be perfect for me!
O.K then, keep up the good work men!
how much did that camera cost you that was in the hallway?
lol at 6:23 you look like Preston Lacey you know preston in Jackass!!!!!
The house should be demolished. It's violating city ordinances.
I've seen houses in worse shape than that, abandoned, burnt out and more of a hazard than this "dump".
I think uxwbill knows how far gone the place is and he is planning to demolish it at some stage but atleast there's somebody watching over the joint and it's not posing a hazard to anybody, plus it still serves a purpose as kind of a large shed. of which animals and mold can get into aswell btw and ye see far worse ruins of sheds than this place.
Plus as far as we know nobody's said anything about the place.
So, I'd say deal with all the derilict places in America first then get to demolishing these sorts of places that are still functional.
That's not the only house btw that animals have gotten into, the one just across the way from him had that too.
Cheers.
