Haven’t watched the full video yet but if she’s running rough it’s because you didn’t tune the PCM to tell the ICM that the injections are not split shot anymore. Once you put that information in the PCM it will make the truck shoot a single shot out rather than spit out of those new injectors.
@@powerstrokecentral sounds good man, congrats on the injectors! Seems like it’s been years since you said you’d put them on at 5k. Not 100% sure but if I remember right it’s either bad for the PCM or injectors of you run the wrong stage without a tune/adjustment to the pcm. Be careful and look forward to more videos :)
Seen many 7.3s with 400k on em w stock injectors. Truck ran like trash, but still ran. Eventually it wouldn’t start in the cold. Put an 8pk in it, & it woke the truck up.
Not sure if u did a transmission upgrade or not. If not. Yr going to blow that stock transmission. I did the 1.5 full force like u, riff raff diesel impeller upgrade. Full force retuned my ts 6. Truck ran amazing! For about a week. And i roasted the tranny! Got a Jasper transmission installed. Wa la!!!
thanks brotha i am actually currently looking at new transmissions these injectors are rated to run fine with stock trans if i can keep my foot out of it loll.
I got the same kit but threw the stage 2 kc turbo on there and mine moves pretty good. The turbo sounds better than the stock one as well. Nice job dude!
@@powerstrokecentral I’ve had around 35 psi of boost on a few pulls with it. I have gearhead tunes too so i don’t know if that makes a difference from what you get from full force. I know they have a few options there. But it’s more than enough turbo for my 180/30s plus the tune cleaned up the cackle from switching from splits to a single.

I loved the way truck pulled but didn't have any luck they kept failing on me one by one within the first 2 years. After the 5th time i went back to stock brand new single shot and havent had a problem since
A few things to note that you missed; Change your engine oil. You have fuel in your oil now. You should’ve filled your high pressure reservoir to make your startup time less. Get yourself an air powered sucker ball so you can evacuate the cylinders better. You got lucky that you didn’t bend a connecting rod. Or you may have you just don’t realize it, hard to tell in the video. You really should’ve done the tuning before startup. You run the risk of melting a piston since the single shots are running on split tuning. I hope you put in all new harnesses, glow plugs, and gaskets. Makes no sense to take it back apart again for changing any of those. Hope this helps in the future.
im looking at doing majority of this tomorrow just been so busy filming the install video that i havent had time to actually do the maintenance on the vehicle.

Great job. I’m gearing close to doing this my self. I’m really courageous what the power difference is from stock to the new injectors when towing.
