I never considered that the larger the plants get, the more energy required, the less pink may be produced!😱 Excellent layman’s explanation👌

Dear Gabriella plants. The pink Princess you sent me turned into 4 plants in the first year and a half I had. I was gifted another PPP and it just looks so much weaker compared to the one I got from you guys. Thank you for filling my plant room with pink!

You're very knowledgeable and well spoken, Shawn, and I admire that. I wouldn't be surprised if you had your DNA tested, Ancestry would divulge that there
was a trace of chlorophyll in your genes. If you were to take me on a tour and tell me something about each plant, I'd probably go home with one of everything.
Keep up the great work. I've just subscribed.
    Darryl

I’ve bought plants, propagated new ones, planted from seeds etc., lost many, gave away more and just now I feel as if I have much more to learn.
Y’all, now let me see if Gabriella ships to Texas.

How often should you fertilize the Pink princess? Also how soon after putting your cuttings in soil should you fertilize?

I have a question regarding my PPP. The new leaves are unfurling as a bugandy color and then mostly staying that color. The green never becomes fully green nor the pink does it stay pink but a burgundy color. The older leaves are fine. Could it be too much humidity or water? Could it be the tap water? Also could the fan be drying it out too soon after unfurling. I'm stumped and don't know what to do.

I received the burgundy princess from your nursery. Do you apply the same instructions as you explained for the pink princess?

    • @GabriellaPlantsOnline

The plants we sell under burgundy princess are plants that we do not believe will have strong amounts of Pink again, regardless of specific techniques. It's why we sell them as "Burgundy Princess" and not reverted Pink Princess. We think even though reverted is in that name, that is gets customers hopes up for the possibility of Pink in the future. Burgundy princess are a little easier to care for, as they don't require trimming or steps to maintain pink. They do still enjoy high amounts of light, but of course, not direct sun. :) We hope to produce more care videos on a lot of our other plants in the future. - Shane @ Gabriella Plants

Shane Maloy thank you because I been seeing sellers on amazon and eBay selling so called seeds but I heard somewhere it is a hybrid plant so you won’t grow a plant that has pink in it thank you
