Awesome lap! I'm very curious how your car fits into the sub 2 challenge I did a few years ago. The idea was to hit under 2 as cheaply as possible, including value of the car and all parts. NC was one of the few cars that I felt could beat my S197. Want to fill out my spreadsheet and see where it landed?
Looks like the steering column may be moving up and down slightly? My NC is doing this as well and I *think* the column is shot (already tightened the shims). Putting a new one in. Thought it was the tilt latch at first not being tight. Might be worth checking out for track duty.
At this track day it was coming loose and I tried tightening the tilt (as that’s the only way to do it) and noticed the plastic shim/bushing? Was split. So I eventually just jammed it in and finished the track day. It’s actually tighter than it ever was and I plan on eventually changing it/ making maybe a new bushing for it but for now it’s okay. It’s not a serviceable item from Mazda a new column must be purchased like what you are doing

Yeah! I’m down to fill that out I think you follow me on Facebook and IG!
@@MitchelYardley Yep! Just sent you the link of FB messenger.
Those douple downshifts on the last corner 🔥🔥 great lap👏🏼, always love to see an NC killing it on the track 🖤
Goes vroom, sounds sweet! 👏😁
Great car control. Flying through bus stop. I think there is a good chunk of time in cotton corners that should put you in the 58s ez
I was battling with leaving it in 4th or 3rd for cotton corners and it felt like 4th was faster. But yeah I think I can get 58s!
Let's gooo
