Moral to the story. If you think your spouse is trying to poison you, move out and do not consume anything from them.
Sad
Indeed.
exactly..i wonder why he didn't/did do that to save himself
@@xTheGoddessOfChaosxhe never though that his wife, the mother of his children, would be capable of killing him. Maybe he thought she was just giving him stuff to give him a stomach ache, not to murder him. After all, he is the father of their children.
Right?! That's the part I can't understand, why he stayed and kept consuming food and drinks from her.. SMH!!
The worst part of the letter is when she asks her brother to send pictures if her nieces (the daughters of the husband's sisters) to the media in order to show their faces the world. She admitted doing this just to annoy her sisters in law. She did not mind hurting innocent children for revenge.
Yeah, this woman is pure filth.
Wow. She is seriously evil. I feel so bad for her husband’s family. And shame on her mother for going along with helping her tamper with witnesses. Seems like her whole family is scum and evil
Wow that's a true narcissist
She also told her own kids that her dead husbands family didn’t like them. So… yeah.
This woman is her own worst enemy, it's almost like she's a witness for the prosecution..😐
yep
I once heard a prison psychologist say that the definition of evil is the absence of empathy. This seems to fit her like a glove.
Shes one of the strongest mixes of smart and dumb I've ever seen
I know in today's world everyone is a "narcissist" but I think she actually is.
She's obviously smart but she thinks she's so much smarter than everyone else it makes her behavior completely reckless. She thinks people will see her letter with "WALK THE DOG" with huge letters on the top and they won't figure out that it's a code. These are investigators who are reading this stuff.
@@Aaron-kj8dvexactly! I think an official diagnosis isn’t necessary to say she’s the perfect example of what a person with dark triad personality looks like. Rare for females. Scary. Absolutely scary. Psychopaths commit murder with no remorse. Her narcissism, the need for adoration and admiration allowed her to write that cringey book. She could have chosen other ways to feed her narcissism but it takes a special kind of dark to further profit while being the “hero”comforting and helping her son deal with grief. Best example for Machiavellianism is the fact she was able to her husband to continue to consume whatever despite having suspicion, having to change policy and trust, and being sick multiple times from something she gave him!
She used the $250k to buy a water-damaged home for way too much, fixed it up, sold it for $400k. Couple who bought it suing her company for non-disclosure of massive water damage and toxic mold she covered up. Her flipping business was over 1 million in the hole.
These criminals who google, from their own communication devices, the most egregiously crime related questions.
Do they think no one will see that?!
ironic how she planned this out for a long time likely before marriage only to leave those searches where the police will never not look
As a writer, I've googled some pretty hilarious stuff. One of the threads on my writer's forum is titled, "What have you googled lately that will look suspicious in the eyes of law enforcement?"
IKR... not very smart. I mean, at least go to a library and use a computer there.
She googled it after his death dumb*ss, everyone would be googling how much it would take their spouse to overdose with right after they find out that they overdosed
@@I_Love_Rainbows510
Right?? I’m afraid to Google anything now!! And I’m not doing anything bad
Her book reminds me of O. J. Simpson's book 'If I Did It: Confessions Of The Killer'.
Most people would want to distance themselves from the event, not revel in it in print.
Methinks she doth protest too much
Narcissism at is best/worst, forever making the topic about her 😮
Oh right!
I forgot about that gem!
😂😂😂
Oj did that for attention because he too was a narcissist. This genius (KR) did it to plan her fake defense.
What a devious yet ignorant woman amongst greedy, entitled, selfish and cruel. I feel so bad for their sons and of course his sister and family. Her continued efforts to try and collect $ at any and all costs and trashing her husbands memory is on a level unto itself
Thank God she's too dumb to be a threat past the initial murder..... unlike that bastard Mike Manzi
It's OK, she will be in prison for decades, you know, one of those great resorts for the rich...
My God she's an idiot!😂😂😂
When you change the life insurance policy, make sure you let the homicidal spouse know they're not the beneficiary before they off you!
Truer words were never typed!!!!😊
If you know you have a homicidal spouse then the best to do will be to divorce. Most of these people never know they have a spouse that didn't love them. Most never listen to their intuition. Thing is our body and senses tell us who is a traitor in our life but most times our minds refuse to believe it.
😂😂😂
😅
😮
Good plan! My plan is to never have life insurance. I saw a Double Indemnity at an impressionable age.
@@heartmind6373So true!
Why are some people so ridiculously greedy? There is beauty in living your life, being satisfied with what you have. I naturally do NOT mean that people living in poverty should be happy with their poverty, but I really can't understand people like Kouri... She's living a life wildly wealthier than most of us could ever dream of... Why wasn't she satisfied with their family's wealth? Why so eager to have more that she's willing to murder the father of her children? I wonder how she'll get by in prison. No mansions to sell, no luxury...
I've wondered this same thing. Her former coworker as a cashier at Lowes where Eric met her talked about how Eric elevated her drastically from where she came from. How was this not enough??
Her mental state, must be very confused. To want money so bad, all of it, all the property, every thing her hubby had. And be so obvious about it.
He seemed generous and she lived very well, for an ex cashier from Lowes.
To kill him, and think that would work out and she would be rich beyond her wildest dreams.
Eric knew, his business partners knew, his sisters knew, that Kouri was up to no good.
With out make up and nice clothes, she will look just like the other prison inmates.
For a long time. Their Kids have no parents.
I agree-I’ve been in various economic brackets, never wealthy but from poverty to middle class, and I’ve been happy with each one. Financial security is a good goal, but not worth killing people for. Ironically for her, she will forever be an inmate and not have anything to her name. She evidently thought she could somehow get by with killing Eric, but it appears the evidence just keeps stacking up. Allegedly IMO
Greedy people, it's never happy lives, an unfulfilled life of chasing wealthy, they lack a sense of contentment and gratitude .when we depart from these world what we take ?
Like Robinson Carusoe, it's as primitive as can be.
These internet searches that these criminals leave on their phones are insane! Talk about incriminating yourself!
I love it, "rich people prisons" is such a funny google search
I'm howling at the "luxury prison "
@@jenniferlane9000
The weird thing about that is that she knew she was going to prison, just as he knew she was killing him...
What's wrong with these 2?
She should at least put in the search some covering details like the names of killers from true crime shows.
this is a stupid question i guess? Why did this guy continue to live around his wife after he suspected her of poisoning him + the life insurance changes, trust issues etc.?
He may have had a hunch but tried to remain hopeful she wasn't that crazy.
This is a lesson to literally trust your gut instinct. He knew what she was trying to do.

Wow, her narcissism, greed, and sociopathy (in my unprofessional opinion) know no bounds 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Her smile is very practiced.
Psychopath, no?
Should be an instagram model...
Wow, she just keeps delivering. She really believes she can outsmart all of her evil behavior. I feel so bad for Eric’s family and his children.
Hearing that she took pics of her husband asleep and passed out reminded me of Amber Turd's similar tactics. I think Kouri Richins is even worse, she OD'd her husband! Johnny Depp is lucky to be alive! These women are terrifying!! 😡
I wish that Eric had done more to protect himself. He paid the ultimate price and his children have lost both of their parents. So sad. I love hearing your take on these tales but it’s sad that there are so many
Eric did everything possible to ensure he had a bounty on his head. All of his business success & celebrations were only for him.
I'd think after suspecting your wife was poisoning you the first time you'd dump her, at least not for yourself but for your kids but maybe that is just me.
@@jaymike3302 You're not wrong about that, that prenup was brutal!
In fact the severity of the prenup makes me think that she had red flags from before the marriage.

common threads between all these type of people…
they think they deserve whatever they desire, (without the hard work, cleverness, or luck that it usually takes to achieve) nothing’s ever their fault, & consequences are only for other people. An astounding lack of self awareness.
Typical of narcissists. They usually are good looking and/or charming so they pull in insecure or superficial folks more often who aren't looking for substance.
It's entitlement for all of us.
This is exact description of narcissism
Perfectly stated
Bruh, that lady admitted they'd also 'get' her dead husband's sisters? Way to catch conspiracy charges on top of the rest.
Dr. Grande, btw, she paid a ghostwriting company to write that book. Mike, at That chapter, included that factoid in his video on this case.
Cover-up lies are always the most ridiculous ones. The desperation really shows through in them.
The more complicated the cover up stories get, the less believable.
Its like the perps think they can force someone to believe them as they have no other way out. You hear them say "You have to believe me!" in an interview with a detective.
Like I heard another inmate confess to the murder thru the wall vent….🤥
This woman is a diabolical piece of work😢
I thought he met her as a cashier at Lowes. Then Eric financed her real estate career when she then embezzled money from his business to prop up hers. Is this not correct?
It wouldn't be the worst thing she's done
Allegedly.
@@skachor You're right. I was wondering why Dr. Grande said she was a realtor when Eric met her when she wasn't. Perhaps I need to listen to the video again. Amazing though that if it is true that she was a cashier that it wasn't enough for her that just by marrying him her lifestyle was drastically improved. The man who detailed their cars reported that she was a horrific slob and within 3 weeks her vehicle would be grossly destroyed for him to then clean again. What an insufferable ingrate. Treating this man like a peasant whose job it was to pick up after her.

I agree. Her beauty was unfortunately equaled to her evil doings.
Signing a prenup that allows pre-marriage assets to transfer to a spouse upon death sort of defeats the purpose of the prenup. It seems they would want at least a couple decades of successful marriage before transfer assets to spouse upon death would take effect.
I thought the same. The prenup basically incentivized murder in the event of divorce looming on the horizon or her becoming dissatisfied.
I'll bet ya she came up with making that stipulation, he kinda ignored obvious red flags or wasn't that bright
His lawyer should be disbarred.

That was the worst prenup in the history of prenups🙄😑. Like you’re asking to be killed…
She's in jail for disgusting murder, her top priority:
Contraband White Strips.
Holy hell, the vanity of that woman.

Why on earth would he stay in same house w her after knowing about the insurance and telling that he thought she was trying to poison or kill him.
They’re LDS. They don’t believe in divorce. He really messed up by staying w her. She’d already almost successfully poisoned him once on another occasion and he knew it and he stayed. I’ve watched a bunch of videos on this one.

I’ve heard that the quote “walk the dog” means “take care of this”.
she didn't even actually write the ghost dad book, she paid a website and gave them a vague idea of what she wanted to write the story and do the art for her.
I love my son with all my heart, but I wouldn't get dragged into a murder cover up for him. Amazing what some parents are willing to do for their children. I don't think parents who do that are doing it to protect their child. I think they are doing it to protect their own reputation. They don't want people to think they raised a monster, so they will do whatever possible to show everyone they were always good parents who did a great job of raising good, innocent children.
Dr Grande your humor is off the charts on this one! "Cory wanted her husband to buy the farm so she could buy the mansion ultimately her plan worked she ended up in the big house". I love it!
That was great!
Whay is it obvious to everyone that "Walk the Dog" really means burn this letter?
It may have been pre-established with her mother, but also, it is logical given that it made no sense for the phrase to be so emphasized, and the "make vague notes" was really the last nail in the kennel, so to speak
@@Annenigmatic IMO it was the context in which it was written...which is pretty much what the above poet says.
Dr grande I’ve had a rough couple days and I can’t tell you how much I needed your humor and sarcasm in the beginning of this video 😂
The book has been described as creepy and disturbing which, considering its quality, is an overly positive evaluation 😂
People are asking why he stayed even after she tried to poison him. She is extremely conniving and manipulative to the point perhaps Eric started to doubt the truth that was before him.
“I have good reason to believe my wife is trying to murder me, I’m gonna go home and have her make me a drink. See you guys tomorrow.”
This was a pretty weird relationship.
🍃🍂🌞 Happy Fall Everyone!!! 🍁🍂🍃

I’m sorry but how could you tell someone you thought your wife tried to poison you and then proceed to take more food and drinks from her?! after she changes your will a bunch of times? This poor guy must have been really gullible…
I think the old term " hen pecked" comes to mind
I think that people convince themselves that the worst case scenario can’t be happening, even when their gut tells them the truth
I’ve been in the courtroom twice with this woman and witnessed a few virtual hearings in her civil cases. She always presents herself as the prim, proper school marm. I’m not buying it.
Dr G, I live for the slow burns.😂 love your channel, your analysis is spot on
Right on, Doc! Also, thanks for clarifying the ingredients of a Moscow Mule. As a semi-professional alcoholic, this information is quite useful.
Lol, I chucked out loud at your subtle snark about her book title and the outlook of her defense at this point. Great summary!
I feel for his family. This woman was always going to take advantage of him. I wonder if Skye is going to fire her as a client. Kouri is determined to make her job impossible.
That's funny. She couldn't even write that children's book. She had an online ghost writer do it. She just needs to stop. It's embarrassing and I hope her family isn't encouraging her ways. But maybe that helps explain some of her behavior.
She's so gross I can't stand it. Wonder what the hell her Master's thesis was on? Don't you have to be at least somewhat bright to grind through grad school?
She’s guilty as hell, bye Felicia👏
This lady really has no shame 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
She ain’t no lady.
Signing a prenuptial agreement is actually a really good idea in general and especially if there is a lot of money/ assets involved in the marriage. A prenup is not a sign of distrust in the marriage, it’s insurance that if things don’t work out (which they statistically often don’t) then it’s easier to cut ties.
🙄
Not that I want criminals to avoid justice but I can't help thinking what an idiot one has to be in this day and age to think that the police won't know about the activity on the phone or those google searches.
I’m waiting for the words: “Kori was a narcissist, compulsive liar and psychopath.”
Kouri should take a departure from her fantasy world and write a book about a fentanyl laced ex husband who returns from the dead to murder a living monster who he had previously taken a $3.6 million life insurance policy prior to his death.
I can’t help feeling that if her parents hadn’t tried to get clever with the spelling of her name she wouldn’t have turned out so badly.
Well, the name Corey or Kori is a masculine name. However, Kou-ri is a feminine name with origins from Asia. It's a well thought out name. Unfortunately, a name isn't everything, and some people turn out crazy, regardless.
So blame the parents for her murderous actions??? Because of her name??? Surely you are joking...you can't be that ignorant.

There’s several women killing their hardworking husbands that are also good dads. Greed. I wish I would’ve been so lucky. Life is funny that way. I guess if that’s all they’ve ever known they have no reason to think that all spouses are like that. Then they trade their lavish living for an 8x10 jail cell with no morning frappes or quick trips to DQ(my favorite!)
I may be wrong but I thought this was the letter she held up for her mother to read and that's how they knew to search her cell. Video calls are not private in prison folks. 😅
Nope.
I think your assessment of Kouri is right on the money Dr. Grande!
Youre analogy on this one was so funny but so right on
Interesting that he was cynical enough to enact a prenup on the day of their wedding yet, somehow, too gullible to realize that her obtaining four life insurance plans, forging his signature to manipulate insurance stipulations, fraudulently obtaining a $250,000 loan in his name, and potentially poisoning him via sandwich were painfully obvious signs to immediately get as far away from that woman as possible.
Good final analysis about her writing a book..
Kouri is the “gift” that keeps on giving‼️😳
The word 'Gift' means poison in German.
“Walk the dog” means align your stories
I don’t think so i think it means destroy it
Because she also keeps saying take vague notes so she is not keeping the letter she is destroying it
