Cammy those are some very wise words and it’s always much harder to put them into action. That’s why we have to be kind, gentle and patient with ourselves. Remember this didn’t happen overnight and now that you’ve taken one of the bravest steps in asking for help it’ll take time to reset again. You have a beautiful home and I have ‘pantry envy’ because it’s not a big thing here in Ireland especially when we built our house. Well done on donating so much to help others too. Thank you Cammy for sharing your home, thank both Bonnie and Cammy for bits of advice...love the water bottle idea in the shoe holder, I am going to tell my kids about that one...love seeing "the ducks in a row" at the end...I am over 60 years old and just figuring out how much I need to decompress
Cani, When I was ill I read an anecdote about spoons. It said that life is often like one of those jars of spoons in a diner- lots of spoons. If you drop one, there are plenty more to choose from. Every time you have to do something it costs you a spoon. When you are very ill, you only have one or two spoons. You have to choose very carefully how you “spend” your spoons. Most people don’t realize how few spoons you have because it’s not their daily experience. So, no shame. You are exhausted and can’t eat and are running a house and a family on one or two spoons! You are doing more on less than most people out there. Bonnie is sharing a few of her extra spoons with you. 😊 which is lovely because sometimes we have extra spoons and sometimes we need an extra spoon or two (or twelve). 😊
I loved Camy's messages especially about accepting compliments and running a mile a step at a time ❤ you have a beautiful heart, I'm so happy Bonnie is helping you, we love Bonnie x Edited to add: a shoe organiser for water bottles is genius and I'm gonna head to the store to buy one for my own pantry tomorrow! X
Bonnie, you do have a heart of gold ! You can't pour from an empty cup good for you saying you need time for you to recharge & refill your cup💞! Thank you for including links to help!!! Cammy, you make a difference ! All your emotional advice is going to touch the people needing to hear it & we all really need to hear " ask for help" sometimes 🤗. You both are doing great reclaiming your beautiful home ! And as far as organizing style, I've learned sometime functional isn't Pinterest but absolutely necessary . I keep pots & pans in upper cabinets because I can't get them without hurting myself in the lower ones. You are both blessing each person who sees & hears your stories . Please hug each other for me next time you see each other , GREAT JOB !!!
This is such a great way to help people, Bonnie. Not only physically helping them, but letting them say the words, letting them put it all out, allowing them to listen to themselves, work through that pain and get rid of that burden. Cammy said it to herself, she has a lot to be grateful for too and that's amazing 🤩🤩🤩
Cami, thank you for being so transparent. We don’t all have your particular problems, but your words have meaning for everyone. We’re all here for you and your progress. A great reminder to ask for help when we need it.
Cammie, it took me until I was in my 60's before I could ask for help. You did good. When you were talking about how blessed you are, I had to take a minute. I think most of us foeget how blessed we are. We might not have big houses, but we can make where we live a home. Love and light to all. ❤
Yes, you ARE real! And that's why we watch you! I think in the past you have struggled finding your footing with this channel, maybe you feel that way even now, I don't know, but this video encapsulates what makes A Beautiful Mess unique and wonderful. I don't think there are many cleaning channels where we can hear from the homeowner in their own words. Powerful stuff. You get that kind of content by being true to yourself and not trying to please an imaginary audience/algorithm/trends. Thank you and thank you, Cammy, for trusting us all with your home and story 🥰🤗 On a lighter note, that pantry is HUGE. Harry Potter could only dream of sleeping in a cupboard under the stairs that big, LOL. When I saw it I knew the transformation would be extra satisfying and sure enough...!
Thank you, and yes, my family has joked that the pantry could double as another bedroom or even game room! 🤪💕😉 I am so grateful that anything I have added might resonate. Thank you! 🙏🏻
Wise words from Cammy. I'm glad you and the team are there to help her. The pantry looked so much better when finished. Decluttering is good for the soul, especially when stuff gets donated to a good cause.
I would love to have a kitchen with a pantry that size. It's looking wonderful with the help of Bonnie and her friend. I don't know Bonnie, but she is a beautiful soul.
You are doing such a great job at Cammie’s❣️I’m glad she had a breakthrough in her thinking process in order for her to ask for help. Even the strongest of us need to admit that we need help sometimes. Lots of love & hugs to all of you.❤️❤️
Lovely to hear from Cami directly, really helps us to understand how these situations arise. Keep strong and keep asking for help when you need it! This was an amazing transformation Bonnie, really wonderful how you can see a giant jumble of stuff and just get stuck in and little by little order is restored! Really loving this series of videos to see the gradual and dramatic transformation of this house. Thank you for doing this wonderful work for those in need, and keep maintaining those boundaries ❤. Love the ducklings at the end!

Bonnie, you are such a beautiful human. Take care of yourself first. Let the haters hate and know that it reflects how they feel about their life. We can only pray for them and let God help them. My prayers for you and those you help. Love you sis!!!
Cammy, thank you for sharing part of your story. Asking for help can be so hard. We can all learn from you. Serious health challenges can really compromise quality of life. Praying for a complete recovery for you.
Isn't it funny how quickly we'll help others but not accept it ourselves? Sometimes I try to remember how good it feels to help. Other people feel that too - so you don't need to feel guilty or shame for asking!
This is such a beautiful kitchen! Having this much space in a pantry is sooo cool! American kitchens always seem so spacious and easier to use - my tinned food is in a cupboard underneath the worktop, rather than nice high up shelving in a pantry! Bonnie - the difference you made here is fantastic!! The before and after shots look superb, and this must have been a huge amount of work to arrange everything so nicely - it looks very good and organising based on how the family need to use it seems ideal❤ Cammy - your message about asking for help and letting people help is brilliant! I think people often believe that everyone's house is perfect all of the time and get very embarrassed if theirs isn't, and I think that more people asking for help would be a good thing! ❤ Real life isn't perfect all the time, and it's okay for friends and family to see that and help you fix it 😊
Likewise. We don't have a pantry or larder either. The family home has a small U shape kitchen. My father took down the wall cupboards in the 90's but never installed replacements. All crockery was on a round table in the corner of the room constantly getting dusty. He binned that table too. Everything, crockery, glassware, pots/pans, dry & tinned goods, you name it, went into the cupboards under the bench! I have had half a kitchen for 25 years!
The first cleaning video to have me in tears. I just want to hug Cami. She's going through things that are unimaginable to most of us, but she's still trying to give help to other people ❤. Bonnie, your saying of making it better, not perfect has really helped me lately. I have a neurological condition. I'm in constant pain with my hands and feet mostly but it's helped me when I've been trying to make my garden nice for the summer and painting my fences little, by little 😊. Cami I will start trying to ask for help when thing get too much, before I get in a mess and stressed out. Thank you all you lovely ladies who have contributed to these videos ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for talking to us, Cammy, and sending you best wishes for your wellness journey! You are so right that it's easier to ask for help when things haven't gotten out of control, and we need to normalize not letting shame or fear of shame keep us from asking for help.
@@valkolakk I love this. Thank you! Yes. Normalize healing. Normalize the different seasons of life and that needing help isn’t the worst thing out there!
Thanks for sharing your story, Cami - and for suggestions for other people who are facing different challenges. And, Bonnie, thank you for all you do (and your helpers). Bless you all.
Blessings upon blessings trickling down and out to bless others. I am so proud of you Kami for being brave enough to reach out for help. Through Bonnie's channel and with her help, you are being blessed. You, in turn, are speaking to the heart of the matter of how this all happened in your life. I believe your message is reaching untold hundreds/thousands of people who are in the same position. Last but not least, you are blessing women to get back on their feet. Thank you to all who work to make all this possible.

Oh my, I have a couple of those shelves. Like the white one by the pantry door. I'm a pack rat, pilot. You're doing so great. Life is hard. I started decluttering after watching hoarders. Not that your place is a hoarders house. But like mine was just too much stuff. Bonnie, you rock. Always take care of yourself. You'll be able to do what you like to do for others.
I am so incredibly touched by Cammy's messages. Know that a whole bunch of internet strangers are pulling for her. (I struggle with accepting compliments, so I needed to hear that)
Thank you! I’m so glad you will hopefully be a little more comfortable with compliments, because I had a sweet friend that struggled with compliments and she was amazing!! If anyone deserved to believe a little bit of that goodness it was her, and most certainly you too!
Thank you. Very slowly but surely getting better. Still don’t know what all of what is wrong is or if it’s fixable but one day at a time. I have to believe that eventually I will be able to eat food and enjoy it again. In the meantime I’m saving a ton on snacks and groceries because I don’t like food anymore! 🤪💕
Great video, Bonnie and helpers! I was crying when listening to Cammie’s messages. She’s precious! You’re an angel to organize and declutter her home. I’m glad you are creating boundaries for yourself in what you can and are willing to do. Prayers for you and Cammie🙏🏻
I’m naturally organized. When a friend asked for help, I was so happy to do so. Together we got rid of bags and bags of accounting business paperwork. I bagged and had her husband put it in my car. I knew she’d find it too overwhelming to shred. Plus clearing the visual clutter helped us so much. We stacked later file cabinets and freed floor space. In the end, being able to ask and being able to help are so important. No judgment needed!
Bonnie I love the “buzz scrubbing”. Thanks cammie for all your words and opening your kitchen and your heart ❤️ we are here with you! I would love a corner lazy Susan because I have a dead zone in a corner I can’t reach. I also love the size of the pantry! Yay. Someday! But Bonnie your pantry is also very pretty and the baskets are great. Watching someone else clean and organize is soothing. It just fulfills something inside me like the fact that I “Want” to clean and organize but get overwhelmed so I don’t get too far. Baby steps. ❤❤❤
Bonnie, you are pretty incredible. Cammy is struggling and without you and your helpers where would she and her family be? I love that Cami is so genuinely grateful for you Bonnie, her medical team, her home. On a lighter note, I had NO idea that the turntable thing was adjustable. I also love the boa. Cammy, stay strong and fight for you and your family. I hope you get well soon.

Well, I can see what you mean, but Cami is a mad-keen cook and baker. I reckon it's self-sufficiency and preparedness. Their food-centric holidays have developed a good baking/pie/casserole repertoire with products we just cannot get here. I'm rather jealous of the larger or bulk US package sizes, because where I am, we pay very high prices for small packages of food, or no size larger than 1kg or 2kg is available. Less trips to the shop would be good!

As always the before and after shots are awesome. ❤.
Thank you. I appreciate that. 💕
You sound much less stressed Bonnie, I'm glad😊
You are overwhelmed. Be healthy and happy. Yes, Bonnie is awesome
I understand your need for quiet! It's important to remember that in cleaning her kitchen you are making thousands of decisions about each item you pick up or touch. That would overload my brain and I'm not on the autism spectrum!!
Cammy, I am so proud of you for reaching out to Bonnie and receiving her amazing support!! I think your kitchen is beautiful and that pantry is amazing!❤ Bonnie I love how great you are, definitely take care of yourself and put you first.❤❤❤❤❤
Cami’s message was very heartfelt and a very good message. Bonnie is a blessing ,helping people that need help. Love watching these videos it made me realize how bless I am. My heart goes out to Cami.

Thank you so much Cami for your wise words. You have nothing to be ashamed of. We all lose our way once in a while. You are strong and very brave. You have love, compassion and faith. Bright Blessings from Canada.
Thanks to you and Bonnie & helpers for showing your house and organization. Thank you for sharing yourself and your message for helping others. Also learning to ask for help myself. ❤
Cammie, you are absolutely right... Bonnie is a superhero. I'm so glad the cape she wears is invisible. There's one thing you should know. That is: Cammie, younareba rockstar. Anyone who is brave enough to ask for help, no matter how big or small the task is , is a rockstar.
@@sallygoody616 thank you. I’ll hang onto this when I’m frustrated or my kids finally are both teenagers at the same time.💕 I know I will need all the help I can get on that task too! 🤪💕 in the meantime I love that we are here building lives together, not breaking them further.
Bonnie I hope you are still‘resting hard’. I see you are at your acrobatics again having the camera up so high 🤭😉 Ye are all working so hard and it’s looking amazing. Have a great week. The swimming duck family at the end was such a peaceful scene 😊
Thank you!
We say it almost daily.
I love this!
Cami, you do have a beautiful home, and you have a beautiful strength! I am so very proud of you, and I'm proud for you!
Thank you. Sometimes growth can be scary! This community has been wonderfu! ❤l

I loved Camy's messages especially about accepting compliments and running a mile a step at a time ❤ you have a beautiful heart, I'm so happy Bonnie is helping you, we love Bonnie x
Edited to add: a shoe organiser for water bottles is genius and I'm gonna head to the store to buy one for my own pantry tomorrow!

Hugs by proxy coming right up! ❤
I love the words she shared with us. What a brave and inspirational human. Thank you
This is such a great way to help people, Bonnie. Not only physically helping them, but letting them say the words, letting them put it all out, allowing them to listen to themselves, work through that pain and get rid of that burden. Cammy said it to herself, she has a lot to be grateful for too and that's amazing 🤩🤩🤩
And by letting her do that, it also allowed me to do less voiceover, which is always a little bit stressful for me, so win/win. 👍💕
Cami, thank you for being so transparent. We don’t all have your particular problems, but your words have meaning for everyone. We’re all here for you and your progress. A great reminder to ask for help when we need it.
Thank you so very much! ❤

Cammie, it took me until I was in my 60's before I could ask for help. You did good. When you were talking about how blessed you are, I had to take a minute. I think most of us foeget how blessed we are. We might not have big houses, but we can make where we live a home. Love and light to all. ❤
Yes! Finding our blessings first not last!
Thank you and thank you, Cammy, for trusting us all with your home and story 🥰🤗
On a lighter note, that pantry is HUGE.
Thank you! 🙏🏻

Great words of wisdom today. Love the compassion we should all have for one another.
Terrific work & video. Stay well. All the best to you all.

Wise words from Cammy. I'm glad you and the team are there to help her. The pantry looked so much better when finished. Decluttering is good for the soul, especially when stuff gets donated to a good cause.
Another super organisation video. You have no idea how many people this has helped Bonnie x

Bonnie, I love the before and after slides! They remind me of when Dorothy's house lands in OZ and she opens the door and everything is in color. 🌪🌈
Bonnie, you are such a beautiful human. Take care of yourself first. Let the haters hate and know that it reflects how they feel about their life. We can only pray for them and let God help them. My prayers for you and those you help. Love you sis!!!
Absolutely loved your pantry. Inspiring to see real looking stuff not fake or staged organization perfection nobody can live up to. Show us more.
Cammy, thank you for sharing part of your story. Asking for help can be so hard. We can all learn from you. Serious health challenges can really compromise quality of life. Praying for a complete recovery for you.
It took me a looooong time to be able to ask for help and not feel bad about it.
We need a village surrounding us!
Agreed. 🫶
Isn't it funny how quickly we'll help others but not accept it ourselves?
Sometimes I try to remember how good it feels to help. Other people feel that too - so you don't need to feel guilty or shame for asking!
I will enjoy your videos from start to finish and with the plan for making you would look like thank you for all that you do
This is such a beautiful kitchen! Having this much space in a pantry is sooo cool! American kitchens always seem so spacious and easier to use - my tinned food is in a cupboard underneath the worktop, rather than nice high up shelving in a pantry!
Bonnie - the difference you made here is fantastic!! The before and after shots look superb, and this must have been a huge amount of work to arrange everything so nicely - it looks very good and organising based on how the family need to use it seems ideal❤
Cammy - your message about asking for help and letting people help is brilliant!
@@simonefatzkamper7898 I have seen those kitchens.

I would love to have a pantry ❤❤
Bonnie I love the “buzz scrubbing”. Thanks cammie for all your words and opening your kitchen and your heart ❤️ we are here with you! I would love a corner lazy Susan because I have a dead zone in a corner I can’t reach. I also love the size of the pantry! Yay. Someday! But Bonnie your pantry is also very pretty and the baskets are great. Watching someone else clean and organize is soothing. It just fulfills something inside me like the fact that I “Want” to clean and organize but get overwhelmed so I don’t get too far. Baby steps. ❤❤❤

America is really a land of abundance...
