Thank you so much for this! I have one for you - though you probably know it. Put a bit of olive oil in the palm of your hands, take a magazine page and roll the page into a ball with your oily palms -- keep going until you like the color, then flatten it out. It looks like a mosaic. Hope you enjoy this! Merry Christmas to you!! Waving from Toronto.
It’s a process called momigami. I only heard about it this week. Have a look at Robyn McClendon you tube video called week 52 - 52 week challenge. She explains and shows this oil to paper technique on various types of paper. Don’t we just love new techniques?!?!
This is such an interesting technique, and you made such gorgeous collages with the results. So generous and thoughtful of you to make downloadable images for those who cannot get the CitraSolv. You chose the most beautiful images! Always fun watching you, Froyle!
Hi, Froyle. I'm back again and rethinking my comment re Citra Solv from two weeks ago. I've since read that the product is made from safe ingredients. So, throwing caution to the wind, I bought a bottle and had a veritable ball--only thing missing was my glass of wine-- in my open garage, transforming pages into gorgeous, soon-to-be art. I was so carried away, that not only was my floor covered with drying NG pages, but I forgot to leave an open path to walk through. Felt as if I were playing hopscotch. I have watched and re-watched your videos over and over again. You have now become my Guru and that's quite a responsibility :) I've been creating art since I was a little girl and found early on that there is always some new technique or way of thinking that makes the process so much fun. You definitely epitomize this. Thanks for being here.😃
Kia Ora,I just found your channel and I love it. I am a Kiwi living in the united states, it is so fabulous to hear a tutorial from someone with my accent. Will be watching more of your content for sure!

This was awesome! THANK YOU so much for sharing this with us. I get Nat Geo magazines for 10 cents a piece at my local library, which I have been using for collage material. You have just broadened my horizons immensely!
I can't thank you enough for the free pages. I am very allergic to cleaning products (I know, what a shame my husband has to do it all) so this is wonderful!
You are so welcome! Some countries just can't get it, so I love having my papers available, and this batch worked out so well!! I use them all the time, cheers Froyle

Thank You for the beautiful download from this video!!! I love the papers! I have a stack of National Geographic Magazines. If you need more, I could send you some! I'm in the USA, but I would do that for you. You are so generous with your time and experience. Thank you!
I just LOVE this technique. I have hundreds of pages and have more almost every day. Also, the newer Net Geo mags don't work as well as the older ones because they changed the printing ink to save money.
Absolutely beautiful. I'm just concerned that the strong chemicals in the Citrasolv will cause the paper/artwork to fade even more over time. When one charges good money for decent work, one is always aware of possible deterioration. I really hope you , or some viewer, can respond. Thank you for sharing your lovely creations. Much love, Jade.☘
I'm really not sure long term the deterioration possibility. Over the past few years the artworks have not changed at all. I think sealing them with a UV varnish will help stabilise the papers, cheers
WOWWWW!!!! incredible results!!! and it's fun!! win all around!! new to your channel, going to watch more you have a very pleasant demeanor and positive attitude. thanks for sharing some of your best papers!! 💜💛💜
This pertains to the work you did with gel medium and a fine tip to make roses on paper. Instead of working on plastic, use parchment paper. You won't have to push the edges back. I think you could put a little extra medium at the edge of your work to use as a tab to pull off the paper. AND you can make clear roses with just the medium on parchment paper. I love how they look and they peel right off the paper. This happened with plain acrylic paint too. Thanks for you videos.
You are an absolutely adorable woman. A fabulous gifted artist and generous soul who shares her insights tips and tricks to help others in their art adventures and development. I have just found you on The Tubes and I am hooked. You are so enthusiastic that I can't help but catch your vibrant happy manner. Okay, I love this technique. Another demo shows spritzing...which might work if you don't mind text and identifiable pictures. The above, applied with a brush, creates great pages! Just realize this is incredibly messy, and you'll probably be drying more pages than you have room for. Wear gloves -- it washes off your hands, but your fingernails will look as if you have the black death. Although Citrisolv in "natural", everyone insists, so was Mustard Gas from WWI, and it was deadly. Do this in an area with a lot of ventilation! (I finally moving my efforts outside because I was starting to taste the stuff in my mouth...and no, I wasn't eating it.) You'll probably see lots of black, gray, but also some lovely pinks and blues, but the picture you start with is no guarantee. As I don't have a space that can get filthy, I'm using old cardboard boxes and cheap packing paper to put on every surface...still no guarantees. You'll also smear your image if you're not careful where you put your fingers. Whatever happens, you'll still probably get usable areas, and since I'm doing greeting cards, not collages, I'm quite happy!
It is so worth the effort for unrepeatable collage papers, cheers!
