Typically, new bolts are recommended as bolts can stretch but that not always practical or necessary. I'm sure you could find some people arguing about it on the forms.
Hey man, great video. Question: At 12:45 that part is also available in like stainless steel or chopper, why did you not use that but decided to buy rubber/plastic again?
hello, did you have any problem with the clutch after install, i have installed the same clutch kit at the same way as you but my clutch touched the gearbox parts.
Julian Sami I don’t recall which way honestly. But you should be able to tell which side it going to hit or not. I did have to flip mine unfortunately from what every side it was on. Are you getting noise when it’s running?
@@swtmnk3 yes, i removed the gearbox again and cut a bit the part that touched the clutch, now it is fine no noise but im worried if i installed the clutch on the right way or do i need to flip it ?
Julian Sami I feel you, I had a similar problem. Once I through there directions out and looked at which side with common sense it became very clear it was meant to go in one way and not the other. Hope that helps. Good luck man
Hey! Did you drop the motor mounts at all to get at those top starter bolts? And did you have to use a wobble attachment on the end? I’m having a real hard time getting to them, maybe because I’m working on an e36 M3, but didn’t think it would be too different
/BCENZtube oh that sounds great! I genuinely appreciate your vids and response, I’m glad a fairly inexpensive complete kit worked so well for you, I’ll most likely try it when mine explodes, thanks :)
Great video, I really appreciate how you take the time to insert small pictures to clarify areas that are difficult to see. Keep up the good work !
quick question: did you end up replacing the transmission mounting bolts, or did you reuse the same ones ?

How high off the ground did you have to lift the car to get the trans out?

I figured the first one lasted 20 years lol. Mostly it's a budget thing. If I did it again, ID use the SS one.. havnt had any problems though
Clutch still going good?!? How'd it go city driving and much heavier then factory? Legend if you could reply!!
running the e36 stage 2 fx clutch and the pilot bearing slides in and out of the fork not in place with the fork is that normal?
not sure I follow

Make sure you don’t have the clutch disk flipped!
@@swtmnk3 the flat side is on the flywheel and the side with springs on the pressure plate, is this the right direction ?

You came across anything else thats different than a normal E36? Gonna start the job as well soon on an M3...
Great vid, How’s the clutch holding up now?
