- Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of Elton Johns best albums - to many THE best - and in the top 100 on many lists of best rock albums ever.
And it still holds up with its mix of good rock, sensitive and melancholic songs - and very danceable tracks.
Agreed with you , one of this good album for me maybe the best of 70,s, very good band , nice artwork and good music ,enough for me 😊
Yes - it’s really great. Nice how everything comes together on GYBR - melodies, lyrics, the musicians performance, EJ’s singing - and the cover with all the artwork.
Same with “Captain Fantastic” wich came with 2 booklets and a poster (of the great, mysterius cover painting).
