I no longer want to hear one peep out of them about their "male loneliness crisis." It is entirely self-induced, and not one single woman on earth OWES a man her time, body, and attention. He can EARN those things, or he can keep moving. Especially now that in many US states, s3x with a man may result in a state-imposed pregnancy and child. Nope.

You can't checkmate a player by leaving the game you're just opening a seat. It's not that your checkmating anyone, you are removing yourself from a situation you don't want to be in. I think our problem is narcissism. People love to callout narcissits but they be the narcissits too! Its innate. She this... he this... it's s EVERYBODY. Like you talking about he'll never experience me again.. okay? who cares. Seriously. Why do we care about what other people think who clearly dont care about us. It is not what we think of ourselves or what others think that make us special it's our actions towards others. AWe must remove ourselves from the self. It's not men this or women this it's the internet and the culture. I see it as this, you can't humble a humble person.

How can you tell when they're trying to humble you? It usually comes when you're riding a high of feeling or loving yourself or celebrating a win.

You just got your hair done and you feel so beautiful, their response? "You know you could have saved money by just wearing your natural hair?".
You're literally playing a game with this person, and you win. Their response? "I wasn't even playing my best, I just let you win".

Absolutely. I'm middle-aged now and am happily divorced and 4B now, but I look back on my life and see all the instances of men doing their best to humble me. My ex-husband being the absolute worst. I used to call my ex the devil, but that's just a serious insult to the devil, which I don't believe in, but a good metaphor. And now I joke in same metaphor he wouldn't even be a lowly demon. Wanna be at best. I have broken my serious pattern of falling for emotionally unavailable men. Grew up in a personality disordered home and it was such an impact I became a psychologist to understand. And it isn't an age thing too. I may be an older woman, but I still get these weird responses from men. I live in the South and sexism is pretty bad where I live. Many weak guys hate that I make my income alone and that I have a title. Annoys the hell out of them, that I don't need to confer with a husband or partner before I make a financial decision. It's really sickening. I'm done with the gaslighting, abuse, snark, or attitude. I don't need to be humbled, by a lesser person. I actually try to elevate the energy and light of others. And instead of supporting that, these guys will belittle or break you down so they can feel superior by comparison. Done with whole thing.

I've seen sons do this to their Moms. We glowed a widow up and her son that lived in the basement came up and said she looked like a clown.
He doesn't want her to date because he wants the million dollar property when she goes. So many sons never make anything of themselves and wait for Mom to kick the bucket. These basement dwellers leap frog college educated men with inheritance. So you have a lot of 30 to 40 plus year old sons becoming multi millionaires overnight simply by leaching off their Moms until they pass. It was one of the saddest things I've seen. If he's 18 tell him to get out.

I've seen sons take their Mom's house and then the Mom ends up having to raise son's kids because son didn't even get in trouble for not taking care of said kids. You can show video of it and the law protects men at all costs. It doesn't matter what they do, they never, ever suffer. Neither do the hubbies, male cousins, Uncles etc. Never, ever seen it. There was an interesting test regarding this in art. All paintings/sculptures depicting women were described by men and women to portray beauty, femininity, fragility, etc. And they all have a little detail like a broken smile, a head held down, shedding tears.
The moment they put a mirror of some sorts or made the woman carry a confident smile or a head held high the men (and some women too) immediately said they represented vanity and ego.

Meanwhile, he's over there with a wife who's very "humbled." by his constant put downs. And Im married to a man who boosts my confidence every chance he gets. I’ve also noticed that if we are out together if a server or bartender talks to me more, then he gets mad. But they are normally just answering my question. He once tried to make fun of my Phoenix tattoo to a bartender and got mad that the bartender complimented it. I guess I never noticed his behavior as “humbling” because he’s only a friend and I would never date him. But that may be why I’ve been avoiding lately. I’ve chosen Friday nights at home alone with some wine over being out with him waiting for the insults to come.🙄

We understand that society has ridiculous standards regarding looks. We understand that it's nearly impossible for the average person to avoid feeling insecure about something esthetically. However, instead of fighting that ideal within our society and getting therapy to work through that most of them have chosen treat women like crap, which doesn't fix anything.

My dad’s advise to me when I go married (on my wedding day) -
I should never consider my husband my equal
I should never try to be my husband’s friend because husbands are alway one step above a woman
To have a good marriage, I should always treat my husband as my superior
Should always use the ‘respect’ form of addressing him (we have a casual you and a respect version in our language)
I laughed at him and walked away.
This man- my dad was married to my very successful mom. My mom was successful in her career and moved up the career ladder until she reached the top most post she could. She never changed her last name - he tried to make me change my last name - my husband put a stop to that (I didn’t change my last name). When my mom passed away, he tried to take credit for all my mom’s achievements and said he sacrificed his career for her (he was not successful in his job). He also said in his eulogy that she succeeded because he ‘let’ her.
Patriarchy can be successful only when they brainwash us with things that will keep them as our superiors. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

All this time I was puzzled why so many famous and non famous BEAUTIFUL women have been cheated on cos I'm like WTF! Society would always make out the woman did something to make him cheat or she wasn't doing enough or wasn't enough in some way when really she is EVERYTHING!

I always felt insecure around the guys I dated because they never complimented me. I dressed very nice, did my hair and makeup perfectly, and worked hard on my body at the gym. Not once did they say I was pretty. It made me feel so ugly and worthless. Now I see they were just trying to make me lower my standards and feel like I wasn’t good enough.

Saturday Sept 2, 2023 at around 11ish (YUP BECAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET) My child’s father told me verbatim: “I’m just a hOee, and no man will ever love me. I am only good for sex. When he got with me I ain’t had nothing and when he got back with me I still ain’t had ish.” 8 months later I’m 2 weeks into an apartment with our 21 month old daughter, having left the home I HELPED him purchase without one red cent of his, or any payout from him to buy me out of the home. Nobody will ever be able to speak to me like that again. That most certainly wasn’t his first time, but in fact was the last time. Go play with someone else !

The Woman talking about the Cheating on a Beautiful, smart, confident...HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!!!! My Ex was a ruined guy, he began to show his Jealousy whenever we would go out. I got compliments on my beauty, personality, style, intelligence etc. I could literally see his face and body language change, so did the people and they would throw him a compliment seeing him uncomfortable. He wasn't a bad looking guy but people don't understand your what's inside shows outside.

Women with high self-esteem do not need men thats the bottom line. Some men have based their self-worth on women needing men. However, the independent woman is a magical being that these men cannot resist. But they can't handle them.Think of it like this some people love the taste and flavour of a Carolina reaper but can't handle the heat.
